From the moment we booked Pierre was very helpful giving us all the information we needed to make our stay a memorable one. The property was welcoming and in the traditional style of the region. His food freshly prepared from the garden and the region was delicious and the hospitality was outstanding and we can’t wait to visit again. Thanks Pierre

Host were very friendly. The hotel is in a lovely quiet area of the village. The main street is shut off for traffic during the holiday season, which is perfect for visiting the bars and restaurants, making the street traffic free. We were notified of the way through to get to the hotel by the owners. Very considerate and helpful.

This was more like staying in someone's house because the welcome from Pierre and Fabienne was exceptional. We enjoyed the breakfast where we sat with other guests to eat a wide selection of home made dishes. Pierre was extremely helpful giving advice about where to eat in the evening and even suggested a route for us on the following day. We travelled by motorbike and were able to park the bike outside the property on the quiet road.
The room was comfortable with a nice shower.

The breakfast was top class, complete with mostly fresh, homemade products. Pierre, being an excellent host, gave a full explanation of what was on the table. The village is nice, not overcrowded with good restaurants, shops, bars etc. Location in this part of the Pyrenees is very good for hiking, cycling, winter sport.
My room was on the street side. With summer temperatures, windows had to be opened at night. Unfortunately, traffic started at 07:00 am and a loose pipe cover in the street was noisy. Pierre explained he is talking to the municipality about this.

We recently spent our 10 year anniversary traveling France and seeing a few stages of Le Tour de France. Our favorite stay, without a doubt, was in St. Laury at THIS hotel. Not only was our room charming with all the modern touches expected but it was in the perfect location too. Our host Pierre was helpful with tips and he even let us help him feed the chickens that provided us with fresh eggs for the full breakfast served each morning. AND, with local cheese, meats and fresh croissants. There are lovely gardens and several spots to sit and soak up the fresh mountain air. The food, conversation and accommodation were lovely and we not only recommend but hope to go back asap!
honestly, we don't have any bad words to say about this hotel. It took us a minute to figure out how to use the 'real key' but we liked having real keys vs. a key card- really NOTHING bad to say at ALL- we love this place.

THE FOOD! The décor was charming, and the location was convenient. The hosts were warm, welcoming and excellent chefs. Their dinner featured local flavours, including trout caught and smoked by our host, Pierre. We look forward to being back in the future. Did I mention the food?
No air conditioning in the summer, but this is standard for the region and we did go in the height of summer. The temperature can readily be managed by opening the windows.
