Everything, I never had such a home feeling in a hostel and welcoming and trusting staff
A bit more details around the activities in the hostel (roof top yoga registration, sangria night etc). It was fine for me yet people may miss out on socializating opportunities.

Nice, chilled out hostel. Good facilities and helpful staff.

It’s a simple cosy place. It has a nice and calm environment, the staff is friendly and everything is always tidy and clean. The location is very strategic; in the city centre, nearby everything.
Internet was very very slow. I had to use my own most of them time. I didn't like that toilets didn't have pedal bins.

Super friendly hosts, very clean, a great familiar atmosphere, and a good location in Lagos! Free parking only a 5-minutes walk away. Extended my stay for a couple of days. No regrets. Would definitely stay there again if I ever come back to Lagos. Thank you!

Hostel feels like family, met nice and friendly people immediately, shared spaces and terrace were cozy and highly social, a lot of board games and material to draw and paint, a guitar and percussions, sunscreen, free coffee/tea in the kitchen, shaving foam and other things left around for everyone to use.
No shampoo/shower gel provided in the bathroom. I heard one guest found bedbugs in their room.

The hostel is in a very central location, close to everything. It is basically a cosy house converted to a hostel -- has a nice big kitchen, ground floor terrace and rooftop terrace, so a lot of space to hangout and meet people. The staff were super friendly and helpful, I truly felt welcomed. Other travelers were very nice as well. The place was clean, and well taken care of, even if some things felt somewhat old and water pressure wasn't the best.
However, I have to leave a bit of a lower score as on the 1st night in the mixed dorm I was quite badly bitten. I talked about it in the morning with the staff and apparently they have had a bed bug problem before and thought it was solved. I am aware that it is extremely difficult to get rid of them, but it was still a very unpleasant surprise... The staff were very kind to me and offered to stay in a private room for the rest of my trip, gave me some aloe vera for the bites, and washed all my clothes. All in all everything was fine and I was not bitten anymore. This experience has still impacted my trip though, and even though I enjoyed the hostel vibe I am not sure if I would come back.

Everything, especially the ambiance and general feel of the place.
The staff are all lovely and helpful. The place is spotless and thoroughly cleaned regularly. Well equipped kitchen and enough seating areas around the hostel.

Very Nice and cosy hostel. Close to the nice streets and restaurants. There was quite a bit of noise from the streets in de evening/night. I slept in the woman 4 dorm at the street site. The hostel is a kind of old, but things function. I will recommend the hostel, mostly because of the nice vibe

Staff is amazing, helped me even when was fully booked. Feels like a home, the rooftop, patio and kitchen are great spaces to rest and socialize with others. Made us sangeria every night, have umbrella and stuff you can borrow for the beach. Very clean and beds are comfortable. Very recommended if you're looking for a place to relax at the end of the day and not a party hostel.

I loved EVERYTHING. From the moment I walked in, I loved it. There were chilled out beats playing, the hostel is the most beautiful house with gorgeous outside space both on the ground floor and roof, to hang out with other guests.
Claudia, the owner, has really thought of everything to make your stay here wonderful.
It also seems to attract really lovely backpackers, and I was genuinely sorry to leave them and Olive Hostel.
I have been travelling for a fair while now, short trips and really long stints, and this is honestly one of the best hostel experiences I've had.
Nothing. It was perfect.

Great location and super helpful host. It was a very welcoming place and makes you feel right at home. Overall, amazing place to stay.
My room faced the street and it was a bit noising in the evening, but didn’t last all night. It was also a Saturday so that was to be expected.

Good atmosphere, nice and helpful staff, beautiful rooftop, free sangria and Vivaldi the cat!
Although the hostel is well located and not right in the center but close, there are a couple of bars on the street and it can be very loud at night.

Well located in the Old Town, near beaches, shopping, eating places and groceries. Owner/manager lives on the upper flour of the building and was frequently onsite. Friendly helpful staff. Kitchen was well equipped. Some public areas had open ceilings ensuring fresh air.
Minimal amount of street noise might bother some people with rooms facing the street (I'll sleep through virtually anything and have never been bothered by street noise. Certainly not more noise than I'd at home.

The staff were lovely and very accomodating. The location is also excellent with multiple beaches and the town centre very close by. The hostel itself has a lovely homely feel with nice common areas. It's easy to make friends if you're travelling alone. It's very clean and well kept.
Unfortunately, there are not enough shower facilities for the number of people at the hostel. Every time I tried to have a shower I would have people knocking on the door asking to use the facilities. An outdoor shower for people to wash sand off might help this. Also the hostel allows guests which might be a plus for some but dont be surprised if you are woken up by "activities".
