I booked the hotel to relax after Kilimanjaro trek, I end up spending most of my time else where - othe beaches, restaur

On arrival there is no door - only gate managed by security. I paid little extra to be in sea view room - I had a room overlooking water tank with a glimpse to see on side, massage girls next door from below kept calling me to come visit. They only have 3 rooms that actually face the beach and not obstructed by palm trees, the rest of the rooms have with a side view so don’t bother spending more. I might as well been in the room without a window as the next door people kept looking in as my door to balcony was open. Breakfast is shambles- unless you like beef stew and rice, or chicken wings for breakfast.

High value for location, location, location.

Located a stone's throw from the prestigious Kendwa Rocks & Gold Zanzibar hotels and the beach waterline SunSeaBar Beach Resort is a hidden value gem. Ample room space for a couple, hot water, cold aircon. I recommend the "USA" room with unobstructed view of the sunset over the beach from the balcony. Bonus review: Gold Hotel (10 minute walk along the beach) nightly (starts at 1930) H.U.G.E. multi-culinary cuisine buffet (with entertainment) is a must dine at 45USD/person.

Weak, intermittent wi-fi but I was assured by the manager the issue would be addressed.

Clean and comfortable with amazing hospitality

the fact we stayed 2 more extra nights, rooms were big and clean and the staff made us feel at home . after previous and more expensive accommodation we were pleasantly surprised s it cheap and straight on the beach with all things we need , its like in the pictures and maybe much more better ! we definitely come back

לא שהיתי במלון הזה כי היה סגור שלחו אותי למלון sun sea bar ממש על החוף , הוא חלק מהרשת שלהם .

לא שהיתי במלון הזה כי הוא היה סגור , שלחו אותי למלון אחר ברשת שלהם בשם sun sea bar ממש על החוף , כי המלון שהזמנתי היה סגור , ממש מול החוף בהחלט נותן תמורה למחיר , לשחות צריך ללכת כמה מטרים הצידה כי יש סירות , סך הכל נותן תמורה למחיר .

ארוחת הבוקר סבירה אבל חייבת שיפור , הסירות ממש על החוף מולך , בחדר , המצעים זקוקים לשיפור מבחינת הנקיון , גם הבריכה זקוקה לניקיון .

Extra night before the flight home

The staff was friendly , offered us an upgraded room in a sister hotel , we could not take it as our taxi was booked for Varadero We still could use the facilities at the other hotel on the beach.

The stuff very kind and helpful . The food of the restaurant was very good and tasty. The room very nice and clean . We felt very good.

Even if the property is on the beach , you can’t swim there because of the boats , too many and the beach is not very clean

Cozy lovely hotel I recommended

5 minutes walk to the beach , the location is so nice , about the hotel it’s cozy and lovely , a lot of gardens and green plants , rooms are basic but have everything from ac , fan , fridge and safe box , the house keeping cleaning everyday , also the rooms have Wi-Fi It was a nice stay I was surprised about the price cause it’s very cheap compared what I get , the hotel has a free access to another beach , when we can get for free sunbed and umbrella Also using swimming pool The staff are very friendly , they have one of the best restaurants in the area the Lebanese cuisine I recommend this place for people who are not oooking for luxury

It’s a cozy place , you feel home the price is cheap according to other hotels it’s 5 minutes walk to the beach , the beautiful thing they have a free access to another hotel we get free sunbed and can enjoy the swimming pool , the rooms and basic all what you need you can get fridge fan and ac , Wi-Fi working good all time , breakfast and the Lebanese restaurant are soo tasty Good job

Will not return. Avoid if you can

It was good to have somewhere to sleep for the night. But there’s nothing I liked

The lady Receptionist very rude and unprofessional. She lies about WiFi password and pretends to make you feel like you don’t know how to write the password while she knows the WiFi wasn’t working at all. Very unhelpful she is just on the phone when you talk to her. The room was smelling paint and very uncomfortable to sleep with such a smell. Very thin sheets. There was water all over the corridor. The photos are misleading, please change the photos that don’t belong to the property. The hotel is not 300 meters from the beach. This is a lie.

Good hotel with friendly and serviceminded staff!

Good hotel with good facilities. The man in charge is wonderful at helping you with every need and all the staff is so friendly and fun! Great place for the full moon parties at Kendwa Rocks as it is a very short distance to the beach. It is included sun beds and pool at the beach which is a big plus! Stayed there two times already in a month, will definitely come back!
