It was a last minute booking but I didnot know that ı have picked the best place I could stay in Hakata, Fukuoka. From the first moment I have arrived to property I was welcomed very warmly by staff and the cozy reception/kitchen/commen room was just welcoming too. I had a very smooth yet friendly check-in and got a great help/support to my questions and had a very nice conversation. Then I have met some other people staying there. the room was good, toilet, bathroom, everything was very nice and clean.
There was a lady staying in the same room. During the check-in, I was also talking to other travellers in the room, then this lady came and randomly joined the conversation but not very friendly or kindly. However, everybody was just kind to her. But she was kind of wanting to take all the attention on her. Fine, whatever! Nobody cares! And just because nobody cared she was kind of agressive during the conversation. But nobody really paid attention to that. Then at that night, around midnight, I am silenly sitting by the stairs and waiting for another guest from the same room, to go out together, because she was in the shower, and I am just waiting outside the room. Then this lady walked out from the room and started yelling at me such "did you leave the door open? Hah, tell me, did you?!" And I was just surprised with this absurd situation and said nth. Then she said some other things and shut the door, went in the room. I went to toilet, then I need to wash my hands and the sink is inside the room, so I entered the room, didnot even turned the light on, and sliently wash my hands. And that lady stand in the bed and started yelling again, "do you really have to do this, ı am trying to lseep here. get out!" And I wasnt really happy anymore with this and I told her that she cannot talk to me like this, and she is being rude and also disturbing other people who are sleeping in the room. And then she shouted "get out get out, shut up shut the fuck up!". And I just left the room. Then I have learnt that she had this situations with many other people since she arrived to the hostel. So maybe The hostel can be careful for such situations and not allow these kind of behaviour. Of course this is all about the person and hostel isnot really responsible about this. But I just wanted to share for the future precautions. besides, I have told to staff already that the hostel was one of the best places I have been during my 1 month travel in Japan.

It was in a great location, close to a station and canal city attractions and food. The staff was so kind, and the place was clean and neat.

Many talkative guests and a fairly nice common space. Easy checking and check out, nice room and comfy bed. Not too far from any Station or many sightseeing spots. Free coffee and tea.

I had a 12 day long reservation which I thought I cancelled, but it did not go through properly. The staff never contacted me once to check whether I was still coming or not. They should have contacted me, then I would have asked them to cancel the remainder of the reservation. Instead, they just let the empty reservation run it's course and charged me the full amount.

The check in/check out processes were very easy and the staff were extremely friendly! The room was clean and the shower/sink area were even nicer than expected! We didn't have time to hang out in the common area but it looked really nice.
There was not much room to store baggage in our rooms as the beds were quite close together.

Excellent hospitality and location
clean and comfortable

Toilets and showers were new and kept clean. It's not too far from Gion station (which is on the Airport subway line) and bus stops that would take you across the city. Although check in was at 4pm, I was able to keep my bags inside although I don't think the storage room was locked. Staff helped me find a coin laundry nearby (there was one about a three minute walk away).
The shared kitchen was cramped and dirty. I didn't use it for any cooking, only to rinse out my water bottle. The female dorms had no sound proofing from the other rooms so a normal conversation in the adjacent private rooms could be easily heard. The lower bunk beds also had no ventilation so the privacy curtain had to be slightly open to have fresh air, which wasn't good when other guests would have the main room lights on late at night.

I liked the private room. I also liked that there was a mini fridge in the room. It was exactly the size of four futons rolled out so there is no extra space. But that's okay.
The doors were hard to lock. You have to really pull hard on them for them to lock. Otherwise they will just open on their own. Also, they only gave our group of four people one key. I think there should be two keys for a group of four as we often split into smaller groups and were locked out.

If it's just to stay one night and your goal is to save on accommodation, that's ok. The location is excellent and the service is very good.
The room is very cramped, there is no place for your suitcase. You can't rest because there is always someone arriving or going to take a shower, the bathroom is inside the room.

I think the owner of this hotel has a excellent sense because all the staffs are beauty or handsome man, and they are very kindly and well considered.

Nice little guesthouse in central Fukuoka. 20 mins from Hakata station on foot and close to many temples. The staff is great and it is very clean and cozy.
Definitely good value!
Thank you for an awesome stay.

The location was really good. Near from Hakata St. and if you are willing you can walk Nakasu which is the central part of Hakata to the Guest house by walk in 20 minutes.
Same the above.

Location
-No slippers to use. Only fews at downstairs to walk outside or what I was really not sure but they were all dirty.
- Too lound although it was over 11pm ( including staff).
- Why did the male staff come in female dormitory room for many time at night?
- Dryer is so old, has weird smell.
- No towel included. You have to pay 200¥ for one thin, old and not really smell good towel.
- Only one rest room for 10 beds ( female dorm)
I would never visit this place again.
