Not worth for the value. Cleanliness was zero. Carpet was not cleaned. Probably the early vomit or dog poo was not cleaned properly. The room needs overall renovation.

Staff was nice, rooms was beat up and dirty with red stains on the carpets. Property is in need of a refresh and is in disrepair.

The room was clean. Staff very friendly. Out dated & old looking. Sofa uncomfortable to sit on. Room had a smell. No housekeeping, had to get toilet paper & towels from front desk. Door closed with force to lock. Generally run down.

Room was dirty and needed maintenance. Carpet was dirty and frayed. Boxsprings covers were coming apart at the seams. Vent in kitchen looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years.

Service during the breakfast was very bad, very slow service, no juice & no water available, problem with the pancakes machine that they wouldn’t filled event though they told me they would do it !

The location is excellent and the loft-style accommodations gave older kids some privacy and their own bathroom. However the exterior areas are in poor condition especially the stairs to upper-level units, and there was no indication when we booked that we would have to carry our bags up stairs or that we should request a ground-level unit if we had mobility or weight-carrying concerns. The interior was in better shape than the exterior but was definitely showing its age especially bathroom fixtures. The full kitchen was useful but there was no recycling bin or teakettle. The breakfast was OK.

it must have been beautiful when first built but the place is understandably run down after covid. The staff were helpful and friendly and it was a fine place to stay, but there was litter and the facilities were tired. I didn't feel confident in the cleanliness level. Breakfast was good if it wasn't gone by the time I got there, sometimes the hot water was tepid, things like that didn't help. The best feature was the good amount of space in the room and the kitchenette - besides the lovely staff.

The hotel exterior does not look like the pictures. It has peeling paint and looks run down. The interior was partially renovated/updated. But the rugs are gross. And the freezer had dust balls in it.

Disgusting - booked with Expedia don’t waste your money. I have pictures of the black mold on the ground leading up to our room. Hotel horror - big disgusting stains on the floor, they have never cleaned the carpets - you want to take a shower the second you walk in. Smelled like I do t know what, bathroom was gross and the room was so dated. Spend the extra $100 bucks and stay at the Hilton in town. We walked in and I told my family we were leaving not to put anything down. Booked the Hilton and left. Just disgusting and no amount of explanation from “management” is going to make a difference. Expedia I would like a refund… shame on you for promoting this dump.

This was the most poorly maintained property I stayed at in years. MontP has a shortage of hotels during peak season, and the Sonesta was one of only a couple available rooms. It was horribly neglected, from landscaping to common areas to the guest room itself. An absolutely terrible experience, and I am being as objective as possible.

Breakfast was excellent enjoyed the variety of selections, staff was extremely nice and helpful, loved the accommodations of 2 bedroom in the unit. However definitely needs updates and renovations

The rooms are big and roomy but need renovation. Not as clean as expected. Breakfast was good. Front desk very helpful. Easy short drive to Burlington and Essex junction.

This property is in dire need of a refresh. The exterior is very run down. The room needs a refresh. However, it was clean and comfortable for a 2 night stay. What really irked me was the need to stand in the lobby waiting for the front desk person to appear after waiting about 8-9 min - and she was surly! Both mornings, breakfast was depleted with more than 90 min remaining. Out of coffee, milk, fruit, no eggs, potatoes…you name it it, they didn’t have it. And the staff didn’t make any effort to correct matters. Look, I felt safe and stayed in a clean and comfortable room. For a short stay - no big deal. Would I recommend staying there? No. You can easily find better places.

The staff was very nice, but overall I would not recommend. This place has a lot of potential. It could be a nice resort, but it needs a ton of work. They are understaffed and the property is run down and pretty gross. Waited over 25 minutes to check in. The carpet in the room was filthy, the walls were cracked and dirty, and the furniture was worn. The property is weedy, moldy, and falling apart. Breakfast was pretty good!

I won't stay here again. Mold in the tub. Facilities need maintenance outside: rot, mold, rust, paint, grounds. If you expect to see the normal hotel breakfast, forget it. You won't even get that.

The property needed updating and cleaning inside and of landscaping running wild, dogs were allowed and should have had thier own designated area. There was dog poop outside our door..There was absolutely no breakfast, no creamer, milk or any dairy for coffee only black. Most dissatisfied..

The rooms were okay. The continental breakfast consisted of almost nothing both mornings we were there - cold hash and some bread and bagels. When my husband asked about this the staff was rude and didn’t seem concerned at all. Very disappointing.

The room was not clean. There were stains in the carpet and in the bathroom. There were no linens for the spare bed and when we requested some from the Front Desk they did not have any clean blankets. The stairs going up to the room were dirty and there was trash all over the hallway.

Untraceable rattling noise that kept us up at night, staff had no answers. Dirty carpet in rooms. Unmaintained exterior-- wooden stair rungs that led to our room had been replaced, but were unfinished raw lumber. Woefully understaffed (felt bad for the 1-2 women I saw around the clock). This place should be bulldozed to the ground, just start over.

This was one of the dirtiest and unkept properties I have ever stayed at. The carpet was all stained, the curtains had stains, the vent in the bathroom was so dirty it only worked part of the time. The table in the living area was broken. Bathtub and ceiling were moldy. The bed appeared clean and it was comfortable. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast, I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Terrible for the Price. 250$ CAN per night. It looks Nice but when you start looking.....At 120$ I wouldnt Say a thing...im not peaky usually but when I pay that amount, I expect more. Dead bugs and hairs on the Floor, spiderwebs under the bathroom sink, big greacy stains on the handle of the sofa bed, kitchen table that needs to be changer, one bath towel for 3 people, big brown stain in the bathtub, full kitchen with no silverware.
