The pictures are not what the property looks like. Its not worth the price.
Pay extra stay somewhere else.

Room was clean and cool. Had a partial view of the beach where you could hear the waves.
3.4
Great place! Lots of room for activities.
3.4
Was a good stay, outside of guests trying to get into our room. First, some drunk guys had the wrong room, then later into the night/very early AM, the room next to us had some bad little kids trying to get through the adjoining door
3.4
Its a great place for the budget minded , the Breakfast area is nice and clean . The covid disposable plates & utensils are still in use but the meal is hot and has Biscuits & gravy ,sausage
Cereal , waffles, yogurt juice
Rooms are nice 4th floor best veiw.

Cover on through the wall air conditioner was hanging off. T V did not work. Cockroaches in the bathroom.
3.4
Tv didn’t work, no hair dyer, phone was broken and very dirty
3.4
It was so bad I could not stay. There was mold on the walls and toilet, the whole room was humid wet and sticky, the microwave was broken and dirty, the coffee maker was filthy, the toilet didn't flush properly, and the room smelled. Booked thru hotels.com, and requested a refund. There were people "hanging out" like at a cheap monthly motel. There was a couple living in their van in the parking garage.

Great location to the view the Gulf of Mexico! Just walk across the street and beach. Walk the Seawall. Close to fun Happy Hours and Resturnants.
Nice Breakfast , pool and Friendly Staff

It’s old as mold. Smelly, dirty and trashy
3.4
Our interaction with the hotel staff was great. They were very friendly and helpful. The property itself is outdated and worn out. Our room had a strong pet urine odor and was not very clean. We ended up staying one night and moved to a different property on Seawall. This property is OK if you are looking for an inexpensive place just to sleep at.
3.4
Very nice but old. Very clean. Bathroom is very small. Quite good for a weekend stay. I know Galveston is expensive on the weekends but I felt the room was overpriced somewhat. But it met our needs so we were very happy. I would return and stay again on the next trip.
3.4
Overall excellent. Beds are a little too firm for me.
3.4
Very dated rooms and building. Room looked to have possible mold or leaking stains on the ceiling. Very small room and bathroom. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable and had small pillows, about 1/2 the size of a normal pillow. We were kept up into the early hours from fighting and yelling cuss words outside our room. Once that stopped at about 4 AM at 6 AM the birds were chirping loudly in the courtyard and woke us up. So ended up a sleepless night. We left at 6:30 AM disappointed.

The hotel was so nasty the stench of it stood in my nose! I immediately checked out and booked another place… avoid this place

Watch out Roaches!!
Room looks clean but if look close you will find roaches on table, on floor, in cubby... almost everywhere.
See pics!
This is our first time staying Beachfront Palm, for the price we paid, not expecting anything fancy but cleanness, that is the fundamental element for any types of hotel.
Roaches absolutely not acceptable!
We're not only disappointed but also mad!
Not recommended!

Well to begin with we get in the room and it smells like musty, so we soray some stuff and leave because we had tickets to be somewhere! Well we come back several hours later and cant get in the room because our keys doesnt work! I go have the key redone and still a no go! I call the front office on my cellphone to get them to come see what is the issue! Dead batteries in the locking mechanism. Also curtain in the room is broken and you cant close it. It is 10 pm so theres no option but to stay or lose $150+ for the night. We went to take a shower and there are only 2 towels and 1 wash cloth for 4 people. When we got to the hotel i recognized it as the old Redroof Inn in Galveston where we had stayed before and even though it had a fresh coat of paint it was the same crap hole as before. The whole stay was a disaster because of the room and everything. I will never stay there again and would never recommend anyone to stay here.
3.4
It was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that they don't give you enough towels and washcloths and you have to take your dirty linen down to the lobby to exchange it instead of them offering to change it out while they are cleaning other rooms. A little troble with the elevator but we just used another one. Overall a good experience.
3.4
This hotel is excellent! Location is right at the beach! Staff is wonderful! They have a hot breakfast included. Nice big pool! Service and everything was amazing!!
3.4
Need to spray property for insects better.

Was not aware that room service was not happening if you stayed multiple days. You need to get your own towels. When I wanted to go to the pool I was told I needed to use the towels out of the room but they were all dirty and laundry wasn’t done so I couldn’t get any fresh towels. I gave my room number but never received any towels. They are animal friendly but people let their dogs pee right in front their doors so it smells when you walk to your room. I saw the same trash lying on the floor for 2 days straight. The mattresses are hard and lumpy.
Breakfast is the same every day. Rooms are not very clean. Overall not impressed with the hotel
3.4
My stay was amazing. I would of lived to have raken advantage of the beautiful pool. I did however enjoy the coffe and breakfast was out of this world
3.4
The staff were okay, the indoor area as well. Breakfast was good and areas clean. The elevators weren't working the day we left but we found an easy work around. They should clean the railings on the stairway under where the birds roost since access to some of the amenities is from the stairs.
3.4
It was good the bed was hard and made out backs stiff.
3.4
The property and rooms were very dirty. The pictures on google dont match with what you recieved.
3.4
Moldy, humid, wet and dirty rooms.
3.4
There was no hot water when it came to taking a shower and there was roaches in the bed. In the middle if the night we celing and the floor was wet with water which made it a slip hazard in the middle of the night.

I don't know where to begin here. Upon arrival there was a very loud group of people drinking in the parking lot. It appeared they had been there a while. They hooted and hollered especially loud as we walked past them.
The check-in clerk was... well... very weird. She seemed more intent on cleaning random things around her than in getting us checked in. FYI- The evening check-in location was in a very weird location and we had to talk through a tiny window.
The layout of the motel was very awkward and I felt like it was a maze to find our room.
Upon entering the room, there was a very musty smell despite the fact the AC had been running. The room was generally clean, but there was gunk and/or rust around the lamps and stuff that was a bit off-putting. Oddly, the ceiling was very dirty. My hope is that there simply was a greasy handed mechanic that had to touch all over the ceiling. I'd hate to imagine what it was if not that.
The shower faucet fell off as soon as we tried to turn the shower on, but I was able to easily jimmy it together to get the shower on and off.
The bed was not the best, but it wasn't the worst either.
I wouldn't avoid this place at all costs, but it's not at the top of my list. Not the worst option if you're trying to save some money on a room, but don't expect a luxurious stay.

The property could use some renovation in the common area like corridors and staircases. The elevators have no ventilation and they look like they could break down easily. Birds in trees can be very noisy in the Twilight times

After reading most of the reviews, it’s all about location. I searched close to the beach that would house our 25-lb Corgi and found this place on our budget. The clerk was courteous and though I asked for a lower floor, we checked in with a top floor, but that was OK for starters. There are 2 elevators; 1 works sometimes, and the other all the time. The breakfast was the usual and not awful but clean and plenty. You could grab a tangerine on the way out through the lobby. The beds, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave and showers were awesome, along with good movie channels for late night TV. The safe and the coffee maker did not work. The pool was OK, but a little warm for my liking (summer in Texas)! Though never informed, we discovered covered parking in the rear which was a life saver in this heat! Safety is a concern wherever you go and I noticed a few non-residents swing by for breakfast but nothing threatening. Our stay was quiet enough and comfortable. The hotel is older and cannot keep up with a facelift, but the staff does their best. We did encounter a roach or two, but I’ve learned to travel with Raid for many years. We realized the location was the best being given a coupon for the restaurant next door which knocked our socks off with great food! I would stay here again with no issues. But cover and wrap your food in your room.

Could tell room was updated. Lobby was clean. Breakfast was just ok.
3.4
Very misleading photos with the Restaurant and Bar as this hotel doesn't have them at all. Those pics are stolen from the restaurant next door, also says there's an indoor pool, which there is not. The room was clean, had to ask for towels cause there were only bath towels no others. The ice maker by the elevator didn't work and the elevator seemed very sketchy and jumpy. Sounds like it needs some work.
3.4
Room was clean sink bowl on bathroom was crack no toilet paper holder elevator kept getting stuck and the surrounding of the hotel were dirty will NOT be boocking at this hotel !!
3.4
The Property could use a bit of a facelift and a broom. The beds are nice and comfortable. But the inside and outside could use some better cleaning, touch up and elbow grease.
3.4
It was a horrible experience. The hotel was filthy throughout the ground and in the room. The pictures that you see on the Internet are very misleading. The room had mold on the walls and on the doors that are in between the rooms. The rooms had dust everywhere and, reeked of cigarettes smoke. There are non-smoking signs everywhere, but even employees were outside smoking. There were only two towels in the room when we arrived, and when we requested more, they were brought to us by Maintenance in a bundle, not even folded. They also brought us a bottle of Febreze to mask the smell of smoke in our room , it was the worst experience I have ever had.
3.4
Staff was nice, but there was mold on the walls and mattresses, bugs crawling through the room, fridge door barely shut, shower and sinks didn’t drain and stayed full for like 8 hours, the door barely locked and we had to put chairs in front of the door to feel safe, the room smelt musty, the ironing board was disgusting, there was random stains on wall, and the elevator was slow, hot, and stinky. I’d be scared to go in the room with a black light honestly. It was gross and musty. Way over priced for a motel. 1/10. Would not stay ever again.
3.4
We left right away. Mold and dirt in the room. Hotel as a whole was very dirty.
3.4
The hotel on the outside looks nice but rooms are outdated big time. Bathroom and ceilings would be nicer with an update. Shower floor was slippery, sink and toilet too low for a 6’2” person. Rusty toilet paper holder and bathroom door. The eggs at breakfast time tasted bland and cold. Waffles and biscuit and gravy were good. Will I stay there again? Probably not.
3.4
Either the staff is short handed, or they dont care. When I saw broken glass, littered grounds and downed pole signs. I knew I made a mistake booking this place.
3.4
The walls in our room looked like they had thrown a bunch of coffee grounds all over it, it was nasty.
