Came in to go to Mayo clinic. Didn’t want to stay right down by Mayo so we found this hotel about 5 minutes away.
A little hard to find as it is attached to Dickeys BBQ.
Had the best breakfast for the price of the hotel.

It was clean and comfortable that is what matters. Husband and wife stayed in accessible room 121 for mayo appts. Only thing was we were right next to an outside door so it slamed when people would go in and out. Bed was firm and great! Food was plentiful for the normal hotel breakfast. For the price it was great! Our grankids would of loved the regular pool area was above standard with additional little kids pool and hot tub. The bus to mayo would come in and anounce to the 24 hour coffee area, great coffee by the way for what it is, that they were there and when next bus would arrive. Very convenient. I have been at hotels in this area and watch as they drive up 10 minutes or so to early and pull away before the actual arrival time.

For the price it wasnt bad. But what was nasty was the booger that was on the wall. And the toilet was not in right and the seat looked like acid was put on it all tore up
1.5 / 5.0
The room was comfortable, the rest of the hotel is dated, run down and feels like a cheap motel from the 70s. The smell of pot was overwhelming, even in our room.

Exceptional room, large and spacious.

The room and hotel were very good. Beds were comfortable, AC and heat worked well, staff was friendly. You could tell it was a little older building but it fit our needs perfectly.

The toilet seat looks like it was attacked by a animal. Like how does one get scratches like that. Room 319. Room was really hot and wouldn't let me turn it down even after turning unit off it was still blowing warm air

This is the second time i stayed there and the service was good at the front desk along with a clean room.

Not the fanciest place to stay in Rochester, but it was just fine, especially for the price. The beds and pillows were comfy. The bathroom was outdated but clean.

Shortest toilet I have ever used. It is old and works, but should be replaced.

The staff here an amazing. They are very accommodating to families that have someone at Mayo. Very kind and respectful. The one lady that does the breakfast are is wonderful and it’s always so clean when she is there and fully stocked.

Very reasonable clean

The website photos were misleading, this place is very run down and marginal as to whether it should represent itself as a place to stay while at the Mayo Clinic.

Had experiences with different staff at the help desk. One person was there on multiple occasions and never once greeted me. Grumpy, bothered, and inconvenienced that I was asking questions, I felt no interest by them in helping me.

The halls smelled like someone peed in them and were extremely humid. The bathroom shower didn't work properly. The air conditioning unit did not work, the room was so hot we had to go purchase a fan to get through the night. The fridge also did not work so all of our drinks and things were warm.
2.0 / 5.0
No WiFi, staff was very indifferent to my concerns or questions, IF they spoke English. Ice machine in a terrible place to access. Cold eggs and stale toast is hardly a "complimentary" breakfast.
4.0 / 5.0
The breakfast had no milk for cereal for two days; and no orange juice.
Bathtub did not drain for two days.

For an older Motel, it was nice. employees were great.
We found it hard to find at first and parking lot needs some work. air conditioner was noisy, but not bad. We would stay again.

I feel some cosmetic updates could be done, i.e., paint in the hallways, going barefoot in the room, I feel the carpet could be replaced. I cleaned up stuck on food on the night stand in my room. The room rate was very affordable!!
Overall, a good stay. Thank you.

It was a very nice place to stay, clean, affordable, and nice 55 inch tv. Also we were greeted with very friendly service. I would highly recommend this hotel. For any future trips to Rochester I plan on staying there again.

Workers are nice. Place does need updating, especially the key card readers. Had us stuck outside a few times. I thought it was smoke free, but we walked down our hallway it smelled of weed. There were sketchy people staying there, it wasn’t so much the employees and service. They were great service. I guess for the price we paid for what we get it.

Close to mayo and not too expensive

Do not take room 319! The AC doesn’t work, the bathroom floor was sticky, the tub didn’t drain. After my wife took her shower, the bathroom smelled like mold. There was a “pee-like” substance on the floor of the elevator. The breakfast buffet wasn’t stocked and the sausage gravy was cold and too salty. The toilet seat looked like it was eaten by termites and had severe chips in it. The night manager was very polite. The room size was nice. The bed was comfortable, the refrigerator was a nice touch. The TV was large and had a nice clear picture, which was nice because I couldn’t sleep due to the extreme high temperature of the room because the AC was very substandard. There were some nice things about the place, but I’ll never stay there again. There are other choices that are a better value.

We arrived around 9:00pm just needing a place to sleep for the night on our way out west and our room was not ready. We had made reservations days prior to our arrival so we were very disappointed that we couldn’t get to our room right away. Ended up waiting in our vehicle for 20 minutes. We were told we could use the pool but with two younger kids, we just wanted to get to bed! Front desk was really nice apologetic about it but it was still frustrating for us.

Clean and quiet. It would need some new carpet, but then that's true of many places. I go there regularly, so I find more pluses than minuses.

Tommy at the front desk was more than accommodating. He was welcoming and personable the whole time. He deserves a raise.

I have called twice to speak with the property manager and nothing got into our room that had a smell to it but we couldn’t quite put finger on what it was when my kids wanted to reheat their dinner opened the microwave to see rotted frozen dinner still in there from who knows when smell took over room!! We moved the recliner and found pizza crust under it!!
