Location is great. Breakfast was good and the service by the hotel personnel was excellent, but the absence of personnel in the reception during the night gave us uncomfortable feeling in case one needs these services.

Small hotel reception only available till 10 pm, but we got warm welcome when check in and the reception lady very nice to introduce the must check points to us. We got upgraded so room is a bit bigger , window can open which very Europe style. Room are tidy and clean, bed also comfortable. Breakfast area are clean and service normal Europe style breakfast which is good enough. Will recommend for a short stay here and only within 5 mins walk to train station

Great location - easy 5 minute walk to many restaurants, attractions, and the train station. Rooms, particularly bathrooms, are small but super functional. Full closet was nice for storage. Good breakfast selection!

There was no balcony as expected, but we can always spend time at the balcony beside the breakfast lounge. Breakfast menu was great!! No fancy decoration, but everything we need is furnished. Very comfortable. I would definitely stay this hotel again!

Very pleasant stay and experience. Spacious rooms, nice people at reception. 2 things to be worked upon: Staff present during breakfast did not have a welcoming body language. She seemed staring at people while they eat as if she is bothered about how much they eat….. The bathroom didn’t have any ventilation which made it very suffocating to use.

Bad: no AC, fan only Good: breakfast is good. Eating area is good and is available 24 hours. Check in staff is good. Staff service is good. Location is good, one block away from the Luzern BH station. Feel safe in neighborhood. Quite nice. Bathroom is good in having door, separated from the bedroom.

There is no air-conditioning just fans so very hot in the day time. The weather seems to cool down at night. The pros include short distance to train station, complimentary bottled water and coffee, dining area open where one can bring outside food

Friendly helpful staff. Outstanding breakfast every morning-something you have to see to believe. Very close to the train station, lake and riverfront. Perfect location.

The hotel is only a few minutes from the train station and is located within a 5 minute walk from the Chapel bridge. The hotel staff were all very friendly and check in and out was seamless. I would advise that the hotel can be quite noisy especially if you have the windows open at night (I did since it was scorching hot when I visited and this hotel, like many in Luzern, do not have air conditioning but do have fans). You can hear doors slamming at night and noise from the courtyard.

Small room. A lot of street noise at night, very loud. No air conditioning just fan so the window needs to be open, so can’t muffle street noise. Breakfast okay, typical European breakfast-breads, cheese, meat yogurt, etc. Staff friendly and helpful

No air conditioning. A low powered fan was provided. No sheets on bed. Only a heavy blanket. We were told to take the duvet out to be less warm. We did and it was extremely uncomfortable. We hated it so much that we ended up moving to the Renaissance hotel next door. Luzern hotel would not refund us for the night we did not used though we shared several issues. I would NOT recommend staying in this hotel.

Breakfast was amazing but the room did not have AC and it was a bit too small for 2 adults and 1 child. Also not the best accessibility. But I learned that a lot of hotels in Switzerland don’t have AC and even accessibility isn’t the best in this country. It was a hot day so we just opened the window and turned on the fan all night. But breakfast made everything worth it :)
