Pictures are deceptive of what the Hotel actually looks like on the exterior and inside the rooms. Our room was filthy, the bathroom had damaged floors, walls, there wasn’t even a shower curtain. Unsafe, people screaming outside, a little 4 year old girl was pounding on the door next to our room, crying for her Mommy, totally abandoned. Then people were coming and going all night to that room and we could hear the mother saying, “Shut up, people are trying to sleep!” Other hotel guests were fighting outside and yelling obscenities. Hotels.com charged me $103.04 for one night when the front desk on the property charges $64.04 for one night! Front Desk employees were extremely rude. If you have heavy luggage, there isn’t a dolly or an elevator, and the walk to all the rooms, which are outside, is long and there are a lot of stairs, especially to the second floor. Don’t waste your money, stay somewhere else, your safety and health depends on it!

OMG. Check in took about 20 minutes. It would have been longer but I left and went to my room. Desk clerk tried to charge me $25.00 CASH for incidentals, and in case I stole anything from room. There was not anything in the room that cost that much. Worst room I have ever stayed in. And I have been in hundreds. Door of room looked like it had been been broken into, or attempted to be broke into many times. Light switch when entering room had been destroyed. The bathroom was to put it mildly, disgusting. Toilet had not been cleaned. Shower curtain was very moldy along bottom. Upper soap dish had old nasty soap caked on whole surface. Tub was very stained and dirty. I would have slept in my vehicle, except I would have forfeited my room charge, it was late and I was tired.

I did not stay i left andci wantvmyvmoney back .when i gilot in the room .after having to walk past the crack heads and the people living there .i got in the room i found what looked like old blood on the sheets and pillow i left . I took pics and showed the lady at the desk

So it was uncomfortable with a dirty bath tub that they covered with something and didn’t cover all the stain and charges more for internet and a remote I think and can hear through the wallss

They had newly renovated rooms and they put me in a room that nasty that wasnt renovated intentionally they wouldn't move said she couldn't but she moved the guest that was next to mine I had reservations for double bed non smoking she put me in a king smoking it was disgusting curtains was falling no bulbs in lamps toilet paper was sitting in the floor beside toilet they was dry piss in the floor beside the toilet there was a tooth brush and lighter beside ac there was hair in tub the tv wouldn't work the night time front desk clerk has the nastiest attitude there is if goin to work customer service she needs to be trained properly or check her attitude and stop sucking her thumb on her job very unprofessional smh

The room was very dirty, including the bathroom. The bed looked as if someone had already slept in it. The room had no phone or lamp in it. We were only given one towel and two wash cloth’s. We had to go buy towels. The floor was missing wood. The only cover on the bed was a blanket and it had a big burned hole on it. This place was a dump. I will never stay there again.

I can’t hold the clerk at desk responsible but I can assure you that I will always check a room out before checking in next time. We immediately checked out and went down the road. If I could put my pics taken, I’m sure Expedia wouldn’t have them.

We were looking for a cheap place to sleep and we got exactly that. This is obviously an extended stay motel with full time residents. The property has an undated feel upon arrival with we had to safely issues while there. The rooms could definitely be updated and cleanliness left a lot to be desired but the floors were laminate instead of carpet and that eased our minds about the possibility of bed bugs.
The lady at the front desk was super friendly and check in was one of my better experiences when compared to other properties.

Property requires an undisclosed cash deposit for stay. ATM on property was broken so impossible to acquire the cash without leaving the property. Mattress sank in the middle. No safety lock on the door. No shower curtain. Staff was loud, rude, inappropriate and inattentive.

we where mislead by the responses to complaints, such as we have remolded, etc.. this property is a extended stay for the homeless and not fit for human inhabitance, we saw and have pictured some of the worst living conditions, such as mold on the walls water under the flooring, tubs and toilets with some sort of green stuff and a entry door that was less than secured and the bed spreads that had obvious recent stains and soil on them. and when we tried to contact management we were constantly put on hold and ignored. we are currently in the process of trying to get our money refunded. it is our opion that this build be condemed..we where there a total of five minutes and left the property immediately due to these conditions.. do not stay here at all cost. it is a true health hazard.

We attended rock the country, all name brand hotels were full, so... first good; location was easy walk to event, hotel staff were friendly, shower was hot & strong, sink/shower/toilet was clean. Not so good; requested bed linens changed due to visible soil, not sure if it was the new clean sheets that were still wet or humidity in the room, though the AC was on. I slept on top of bed wrapped in the blanket, only thing that seemed dry. Even the floor had moisture. Room had visible peeling on ceiling, and rust on metal from moisture throughout, wood floor (thankfully no carpet!)had dirt spots as did along all walls & corners. We booked 2 nights, but only spent 1. We were hoping for a clean comfortable room. Need was not met. Sorry!

DO NOT STAY HERE! Other than the front desk employee, there was absolutely nothing we liked about this property. Employees smoking in the lobby is not a good reflection on your company and is not something non-smokers appreciate.
When we checked in, the kink room that we booked online was not available. The room we were given was filthy. I wish there was a place to upload pictures. The bedspreads were stained, the sheet had not been changed on one of the beds. The shower/tub was missing the knob to turn the water on. There HVAC unit was filthy and there were dead bugs everywhere.

The room smelled like urine. Curtains had holes. Only 3 pillows for a king size bed. No iron, the tv did not work until the morning time. No hand towels. Shower had hair in it and dirt. No trashcan, but what can you expect for $50 today. Plus people were loud outside my room, and someone was asleep on the stairs.. And it looked like blood strain on the... decorated bed linen, oh and no comforter.

There was burn marks on all the furniture yet it was supposed to be a no smoking room. Then the toilet has not been flushed from a previous guest and there was no toilet paper!!! The whole wall was glass and they didn't have proper cover so everyone could see into my room.The microwave didn't have all it's pieces the mini fridge still had food and drink in it to top it all off the sheets had stains and the bed was uncomfortable. Would not stay there again ever.

Non-smoking room reeked of tobacco/nicotine. Stained sheets and pillowcases. Filthy floor in bathroom. Hair clump in tub, hair on floor. Mildew on shower curtain.

This place was terrible. The staff was very unfriendly and the room was very unclean and smelled dank. The residents were nice, but I didn't feel safe staying there alone.
The Horizons refused to give me a refund even through I only stayed for about 10 minutes.
Just stay at the Holiday Inn.

Room was disgusting. No one cleaned it before we went in. Bathtub was full to the brim with water, toilet clogged, floor was soaking wet with towels everywhere, smelt awful, bloody shorts on the ground! Absolutely gross.

Im very thankful for the people working at Horizon Inn & Suite. The facility was dirty and in disrepair. Staff were positive, hospitable, and responsive.
