This hotel is top notch. We had nothing we would change about our stay. Excellent staff service, easy check-in and check out, wonderful breakfast and the rooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. It was an amazing oasis to retreat to, after a full day of sightseeing.

Lovely stay! Breakfast could be better

The hotel is in a great location, a very short walk from the main train station. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Bathroom fixtures were gold and outdated, but who really cares about that? We received a welcome drink in their restaurant/bar. Try the salmon appetizer - delicious! I would definitely stay here again when in Munich.

Concierge/bellhop very friendly even making a point to remember my name which is such a simple thing but such a nice touch. Location outstanding.

Loved it. Well-designed, homey, friendly and tons of quaint details

Lovely hotel with great staff - nothing too much trouble!

Beautiful hotel with great staff. Our room was beautiful and clean. The only complaint we had was that the nearby construction and road closures made it very difficult to get in and out of. Cabs and drivers found it hard to find the place and unfortunately the constant rain made it difficult to stand outside and wait. The subway (U) is right outside the door and staff was very helpful with directions.
Restaurants and grocery nearby and a one stop subway ride if you’re planning an Oktoberfest trip

Elegant hotel a whisper away from the main train station

I absolutely loved our room!! Very clean & spacious. Highly recommended!

Fabulous location although rather difficult to locate by car. Excellent facilities and super attentive staff.

Location is convenient to central train station and to Karlsplatz. Room was decent but small (single room). Lots of noise from outside at all hours. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

You must request a room with air conditioning or you are not getting air conditioning. However, they did supply a fan when I asked. On a side note I booked using a European calendar and I messed up the days and they would not work with me to change them. And I ended up paying for 2 days and only staying one. Absolutely no attempt to even help. And I reached out 2 nights before I was supposed to arrive. Make sure of your dates.

The room was nice, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. Shower had greay water pressure and lots of amenities. Staff were helpful and the restuarant had exceptional service.

Just there for an overnight, but great service and room! Would have loved to stay longer

We were very pleased with the hotel staff...always helpful. The entrance is located on a peaceful side street within steps of subway and grocery store. Just a 5 minute walk to be in the old town.

BUYER BEWARE: despite a recent renovation, rooms at this hotel have NO AIR CONDITIONING.
These rooms may face the street, so opening widows results in all night noise.
Good luck sleeping on a hot summer night.

We were assigned a small double room in the attic of this hotel. From the 5th floor, there was a set of stairs that led to 3 rooms. Our room was very hot & stuffy and the air conditioner was very weak. The rooms in the attic were not renovated as the rest of the hotel rooms were. We also had very heavy suitcases which we carried up the flight of stairs to the attic. No one offered to help us. We are fit and strong, so it was okay for us. When we checked in, we were not told about the situation of our room.

Excellent location to the Central train station & the Old Town. Well furnished with L’Occitane toiletries. Comfortable bed but extremely noisy with the street traffic most of the night. There’s no air conditioning or fans so in this current hot weather, it got quite uncomfortable although opening the windows helped a bit but let in more noise.
The staff were very friendly & helpful.

Staff excellent and welcoming. Comfortable hotel but noisy plumbing (late baths at 1.30 -2.30 am by neighbours) and v noisy if window is open. Otherwise very convenient for transport links to city and airport. Breakfast is 25€ per person so expensive for family of 4

Staff very good, obliging and welcoming. Lots of building work around but excellent central location with lots of transport links to city and airport. Breakfast expensive at €25 so not worthwhile for a family of 4. Local eateries not great but good options not far away in town.

The area out front was under construction. At night many young people hanging around with nothing to do.
Hotel staff was excellent. Hotel was convenient walk to Old Town.

L' occitane toiletries, large size room. But no kettle , coffee maker in room but was provided when requested

Having requested an early check in we were told the room wasn’t ready. Then we were told it would be 30mins and then having been cleaned it took another 30 mins for the supervisor’s sign off which meant we were late for our event. There are no means to control the room temperature in the room, which was very hot and stuffy, other than opening the windows. One of which was broken and not able to close once opened. The street noise and trams went on all night and was very loud. The shower dripped throughout the 2 days. This was not the expected standard for the price paid.

Convenient. Small street with train stops at each end. Escalators to trains led to shopping & food. Large room. My room did not have a safe so had to use safe at front desk - I didn't like this. But I think other rooms had safes. No AC but not a problem. Could be a problem if temperatures were very high but highest was 30 degrees C.

Great location with 3 mins walk to Old Town and shopping. Bfast was huge

It is fairly well documented that the area around large train stations are not always the best and Munich is no different. The area can bt seedy and a little rough depending which street you take, whislt current building works make matters worse.
This hotel however is set just opposite and proved to be a serence and calm oasis.
The Hotel has a bright, calm and luxurious interior with very friendly and professional staff, with special mention to the male who I assume was the manager who assisted me to obtain some nice glasses to compluiment the wine and beer I had purchased.
If you want a nice hotel in a decent setting, you can't go wrong here.

Room didn’t look like what we had booked, there was no coffee or iron in the room, there was a stain on the bed when we arrived and the area was super dodgy at night so unless you really need the station close, I’d go elsewhere, wildly overpriced for what it is..

Lovely property, close to Marienplatz and the train station. Although we were on the 5th floor, there was always a lot of noise from rowdy passersby at night.

My Room was not upgraded, and was not even ready 30 minutes after the check in time of 3:00pm. I had to wait for 50 minutes after the long journey. The hotel staff just told me “Housekeeping is busy”

Beautiful property! Comfy bed and such a tranquil room! The only thing I would change is coffee in the rooms!

Clean room , comfortable, window view, very close to the central station and to the centre of the city (Marienplatz). Polite personnel, excellent service in the breakfast.

We spent a week in Munich and we loved every minute of our stay in this hotel. It would be nice to have some air conditioning but other than that, the staff were awesome, the breakfast was yummy, and the beds were comfortable.

I traveled solo and this hotel was my first stop. It was convenient and within walking distance to everything including the train and bus station. The staff was fantastic on each shift and helped me with all of my questions. They spoke English as well. I would high recommend staying here and hope to return sometime in the future.

We did not receive the rooms we paid for, and the hotel is an oven. The rooms were 90 degrees at night! Would never recommend.

Beautiful traditionally style hotel. Short walk to shop or restaurants. Trains station entrance immediately available. Felt very safe in the area and the hotel employees were extremely helpful and attentive. Be aware there is not air conditioning, it was a warmer week but manageable.

Location, close to train station and marieplantz
