Hotel was clean and tidy. Good size room. Ok location
1.0
Positives
1. The staff at the front counter when checking in and out are helpful.
2. Plenty of pillows for your bed.
3. Large room.
4. Large TV.
Negatives.
1. The heat in the room makes it difficult to sleep. Aircon is not installed.
2. The extractor fan in toilet didn't work so the mirrors would steam up and long term this will lead to damp in the room.
3. There is a sewage smell that leaks into he room from the sink and bath in the bathroom.
4. The shower curtain smells like it has mold trapped in its pores.
5. The gym has not been maintained so everything you touch is covered in rust.
6. The car park in the front has not been maintained so it has no lines and people park selfishly and take up 2 car spaces.
7. I made a request for poached eggs. Somehow this was also too much to ask. The egg had a strange tangy taste to it, so I'm not sure how it was prepared. The coffee is terrible, again I'm not sure how coffee can go wrong.

Hotel was nice, staff polite front of house looks great and welcoming
Dinner
AVOID - over priced, pricing not clear on menu. Some items on kids menu, not suitable for young children. £5 for corn on the cob side that read as if it was included in the kids meal, mushy and chargrilled so not palatable.
Breakfast
Nice - although at busy periods not all items avaliable. Appear kitchen could not keep up.
Room
Nice room, clean tidy, everything you need, bed a bit hard for us though.
Pool - nice that its available but wouldn't recomend. Water was cloudy and uninviting.

Nice room , pleasant stay
2.0
Very clean and welcoming, an additional charge for Parking for genuine users is a bit much, it should be included as should breakfast and to put it up by £3 if you don’t make a decision on check in is not good needless to say I’ve booked into another hotel for 4 nights in Cheltenham

The receptionist was lovely and gave my sister and I a few perks as I was getting married the next day. The bar staff were friendly & the breakfast staff were helpful when getting more non-dairy milk as there was none out to help ourselves to. The rooms and ensuites were average. The dinner staff were ok but didn't warn us of a large corporate party dining at the same time meaning we had a wait of nearly an hour just for some pasta and chicken. The food was tepid and average tasting at best when it did arrive. £7 for parking is also outrageous. At least embed it in the price of the room. The hotel is not even near the station or town centre so car park charge seems unnecessary.

Just an over night stop en-route to Devon.
We arrived around 2100. Have a good dinner and service was great!
Room was good.
Shame the pool wasn't open in the evening and not in the morning when my daughter wanted to swim (0700-0900).
Parking wasn't free either but apart from that, a good stay!

Likes: the staff are excellent.
Dislikes: menu in the restaurant could be better.
Difficult to use the leisure centre due to overcrowding with leisure club members
4.0
Room was quiet. Weren’t able to use pool when arrived as it was full. Don’t like paying for parking having already paid a lot for hotel

Quite and comfortable

Fabulous. Great customer service from reception. All very good but made extra special by the wonderful birthday card, treat and decorations. First time we have stayed in a Leonardo hotel and it will now be the first of many ! Thank you

Hotel is nice enough condition wise. But the rooms were unbearably hot. The window opens an inch and there was a desk fan in the room. Ultimately led to a terrible boiling hot night sleep and it was only 20-21 degrees outside. Not good

The Hotel has a flat roof and the rooms were unbearably
hot
we did ask for a different room but were told the hotel was fully booked
we were provided with a cooler for the room which helped
a little but still the room was extremely hot and very uncomfortable for 26 degrees outside to become 38 degrees in the room
the staff on the desk were very apologetic and very nice
but i am sure they know about this problem with the flat roof
would stay there again as great location but not in the summer months.

Just a little dated for a 4 star, staff were helpful and pleasant though

Hotel was nice. Booked a twin room. Beds on castors and moved at slightest nudge, which was annoying. Food service was too slow for our evening meal. Even allowing for the starters it took an hour from arrival for mesl to arrive, not good with hungry child. And use of cheap and nasty sauces is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Tomato sauce was vile and something I would expect from a cheap burger van not a quality hotel. Mayonnaise also same cheap and nasty rubbish. No point in nice food if served with vile sauces. This is a shame as hotel if this standard with a pool and gym is a bonus, but my abiding memory is vile sauces.

It was too near a motor way could hear traffic noise. Room needs updating and bathroom. When you are staying at this hotel you have to pay for parking, no biscuits or water in room.

Reception team is amazing, cheerful helping, so professionally behaviour.

Breakfast is amazing!
2.5
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to check out 1 hour later at 12pm for no extra cost. The only downside would be the parking isn't free. Overall we were impressed by the hotel and would definitely stay here again.

A not too bad stay overall with a couple of issues.
Shower was pretty weak, but the worst thing was the lack of air conditioning. I stayed for a week and only managed one decent nights sleep.
The window was open and no covers used but the room was still swelteringly hot to the point where I was waking up throughout the night and feeling dehydrated every morning.
2.5
Very clean and tidy
bar very expensive but nice would stay again

Staff are very attentive friendly and welcoming. Pleasant hotel and excellent value for money. Only downside is this hotel is on outskirts of Cheltenham but only a £12 taxi away from centre, but not suitable if looking for central location to walk from.
2.5
A great hotel option for our one-night stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we used the pool which was very good. We didn't have an evening meal there however the buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of options. The room was very comfortable and although paying for parking isn't the best option it was secure parking and there was a discount for guests.
2.5
Weren’t aware of having to pay for parking as when you book it says we have 200 spaces available but no mention of at an extra cost.
2.5
Very friendly and helpful staff, the receptionist, and I think her name was Sarah, was particularly helpful and friendly, and welcomed me with a smile.
The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and the service attentive and a good choice of different dishes.
The room was fresh and modern and the bed very comfortable indeed. It was also very quiet in the room with no intrusive noises from traffic or anything.
I didn't have the time to use the leisure facilities unfortunately so can't comment.
Nice hotel and staff!

Enjoyed my stay. Great option for Cheltenham short breaks.

Car park way too expensive. And leisure receptionist unfriendly. Nice room with big window
4.0
The hotel was OK but seemed a little tired and had no air con in the bedrooms and as it was a hot day sleep proved difficult. A fan was provided which helped a little. We didn't have time to use the leisure facilities so cant comment. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We had a little walk around the area, not much around a supermarket and couple of places to eat if you didn't want to eat in the hotel, probably wouldn't have done this had it not been light as don't know the area but there was an underpass which avoided crossing the busy road. All the staff we came across were lovely, friendly and helpful. we would stay again if in the area as price was reasonable compared to other hotels.

Staff right across were really helpful, with a very welcoming ‘can do’ approach. The health club facilities are very good - steam room, sauna, hot tub, and swimming pool. There is plenty of space in this hotel.

The staff very friendly
