A basic room with no amenities but location is great and so is the staff! Close to a lot of dining options. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here !

Only good thing about the place was the proximity to Sequoia National Park.
Nothing else was good, room was not clean, the bed was not comfortable, and you can hear every single footstep of the guests occupying the room above you.
1.0
Hotel in deteriorated conditions. The room was full of dead insects, the hard to regulate and changing temperature by itself. Noise from other rooms and highway. The poorest breakfast included ever.

Unfriendly receptionist, dirty rooms , found bundle of hair in our bed bath/shower also had hair in it
No breakfast
Coffemachine in room broken

For the amount of money I payed, I am pleasantly impressed with how big the room was, how clean and neat it was. They have playground, a court and a pool. Close to the river. There are fruits trees in the back that are free to pick (i assumed)

I didn’t read the reviews otherwise we wouldn’t have stayed there! Previous reviews stated under the bed was very dirty with dust! Under our bed was lots of dirt & dust plus two water bottles. Manager came and cleaned underneath. Sheets had hair, sheets weren’t changed. One pillow case had dirt smears on it. Manager changed the sheets.
Water pressure was low as previously stated by other guests. Toilet was very slow to flush. Electrical plug didn’t work in bathroom.
Only waffles, toast, and instant cereal no boiled eggs, sausage or bacon.
Outside light by door didn’t turn on at night.
I would think that Hotels.com would not keep this hotel on its list with all the bad reviews given. Any good reviews could have been given by their family members, etc.!
We stayed in room 60. It had a balcony but the chairs and table was covered with webs and a dirty floor. The gazebo advertised was also covered with webs and s dirty area. Nothing like their website advertised!

Property was in very poor condition as was our room. Cleanliness was the biggest issue with the bare floors dirty even after we asked to have them specifically cleaned after our 1st night. All the spaces in bathroom and wet sink area needed to be thoroughly cleaned. No bath products left after we asked that room be serviced.
The patio needed hosed down! Not a clean space to sit! Breakfast consisted only of bread, waffles and coffee.
Stay away from this hotel!

If we have a choice, will not stay in this hotel. Room smells, dead bug behind night stand, no room cleaning service, dirty bed spread & carpet flooring and noisy AC. Not sure how it has few 10/10 review from the other travellers. The one star was for the hotel replacement of a faulty hair dryer. Our review: 1/10.

From the photo I thought we were on the water. That turned out to be a gravel berm for the flood control basin. We could faintly hear the creek and see the foliage. My mistake. This is an older facility. Breakfast was quite limited. The pool was lovely. But closed. Maybe it was being worked on. Easy drive to Sequoia from Ash entrance.

We arrived hot and tired from a motorcycle trip and took showers right away. The water was luke warm and went to scalding twice. Bathroom fan didn’t work. No hot water at all in either sink. Next morning it was a cold shower as there was zero hot water. The sheets had something stuck on one edge and a hair on them. There was no soap in the room to wash hands with (had to go to the front desk to get some). The tub was slick, and there was no safety mat to put in it. Breakfast in the morning was all carbohydrates, no proteins like yogurt or eggs.

The lady who checked us in was a little hard to understand. Our room was next to the housekeeping storage room. We could hear them talking every morning while we were still in bed. Picnic table needed to be cleaned.

The room was huge. Awesome view from private patio. Furniture was out dated and needed to be updated. The bed was very comfortable.
Disappointing breakfast-coffee, cold water, instant oatmeal, toast and limited bananas and apples that did not look good.
Update the furniture and beef up the breakfast and I’d give it a 5.

Nice motel, not great but not bad. Poor breakfast.

Hair everywhere. Everywhere. Sheets not clean. Bathroom not clean.

The property needs an update. Hot water didn't work well. Cleaning and painting needed.

I was disappointed to find our room in such an unkept condition. We only had one towel in the bathroom. The room felt too warm meaning that the a/c was turned on before our arrival at a comfortable temperature. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Dirty and needs maintenance inside room.

The maintenance of the hotel is under all standards. 1) The room claims to have a fridge. This was the smallest fridge that you can find (altjough the cabinet for it was large enough to take twice as bigger one) and was missing the internal shelf that can hold items. 2) Water flow from the shower at times reduces to a trickle. Hotel is long and once the washers are running - good luck if you are taking a shower. This could be fixed with larger water piping. 3) Coffee maker had a smaller garafe - for another coffee maker model. In result, when you try to brue coffee, all the coffee pores out around the garafe and on the table - the former not sufficiently tall to open the valve properly. 4) All appliances seemed to be salvaged from a second- hand store - mixed and matched IN A WRONG WAY! Terrible experience!

Asked 3 separate times for additional towels only to be told to go to the front desk for them. The "backyard" was covered in "stickers" making it almost impossible to use that area.

The room was spacious but in desperate need of renovation. The room and overall facilities were unsanitary.

The staff are very nice and helpful. the room was clean. We liked the walk to the river nearby and the location being close to Sequoia. Also, good restaurants nearby. The thing we didn't like is the wall being very thin and we can hear the people in the room next to us almost like they are in our room. Of course, the facility needs upgrading, but it is not supposed to be 5- or 4-star lodge so don't expect that.

Very nice property, convenient to Sequoia National Park. Lady at check was very courteous, promptly switched us to ground floor when requested. Spacious room, lovely pool, which we had all to ourselves. Breakfast included, but it was just waffles, coffee and some fruit.

The property needs a clean up and the rooms were just ok, needing updating and the tv only had 8 channels, analog, no satellite. I couldn’t watch CNN, a picture , but no sound. My friends room was dog friendly, but small & dingy. She signed up for a😙 queen bed, but got a double. The property was not in high volume either. And… My coffee maker didn’t work either. The rooms were clean and my bed was comfy.

Seems like they have been doing updates/upgrades on the property.
The sheets were really comfortable and felt clean.

A little tired looking but clean, with everything in working order. The management was also very helpful when we needed to alter our reservation mid-trip.

There is a play area outside, which was great for the children. It is in a lovely setting. Breakfast included make your own waffles, which was good.

Pretty average. A little on the dirty side particularly the floors. Water pressure was not that good and some things like lights weren't working properly.

Air conditioning was like having a tractor in the room all night.

Our stay was quite disappointing, starting with the check-in process. We were informed that our requested room wasn't available because we had a pet, despite the hotel being described as 'pet-friendly.' They blamed Hotels.com for the issue. We were placed in a different room, and while the facilities are spacious, they are quite run-down. There is no view of the river as it's blocked by a large levee behind the property. On multiple occasions, there was no water in the mornings or evenings, and when we inquired at the front desk, they simply suggested that everyone was probably taking a shower at the same time. Breakfast is served after 7:30 AM, so if you plan to leave early for the park, don't count on having breakfast at the hotel. Overall, I found this hotel overpriced for the service it provides.
