Everyone was very kind. Especially the gentleman in reception at 5am on Thursday who went above and beyond. He wore a bengals jersey. Ten golden stars for him.
However. A young lady in reception Wednesday night was rude and did not offer any help. This one person tarnished the overall rating.

I was disappointed with my stay. The front desk staff wasn’t very helpful, and I didn’t feel like my concerns were addressed. The room was in poor condition, with low water pressure in the shower, making it uncomfortable to use. The coffee maker was also broken, which was frustrating. To top it off, the bed was very uncomfortable, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, I expected much more from this place and was let down by the experience.
1.5
No phones in the room so if you need something you have to go to the front desk . You are not allowed to use the luggage carts to pack your car . Horrible valet service !!!

Great location in the heart of Vail village. The pool is heated year-round. Accommodations are comfortable.

Everything was great. Staff, room, workout room, hot tub. My only complaint would be the unexpected $50 resort fee. I had read about the additional $50 parking fee so I expected that on top of our $600/night charge, but the additional $50 charge at checkout was a disappointment.
2.5
Very nice visit. Beautiful, comfortable room, however, different room than photo and deck shown on Hotels.com website when choosing a mountain view.

We were placed far off site from the Lodge at Vail in a separate building about 3 blocks away which was unfortunate because we chose the Lodge at Vail for proximity to our group. The condo was loud at night. We would not stay here again.

Unfortunately, my fiance and I were disappointed with our stay. We checked in for our honeymoon and our room had no air conditioning (the thermostat was broken). The coffee pot in the room had hair in it so didn't look like it had been cleaned in awhile. We were hoping to get great rest after our wedding but weren't able to sleep with 7am construction happening outside the window. When we alerted the staff of these issues upon checkout, there was no apology or offer to rectify any of the issues. I wish that we were able to feel a little special on our honeymoon in Vail and that the staff may have acknowledged it. Instead, we felt like we were put in a room on ground floor looking out at 2 restaurants with no AC. I'd love to speak with someone from upper management about a way to rectify our stay. We would have stayed elsewhere.

We had an issue with our initial room. They came quickly to fix it each time, and when it became apparent it needed more maintenance, they relocated us to a nicer room immediately.

We liked the location within the village. We found the hotel layout a bit confusing in the lobby area and wasn't told about a 3rd exit from the hotel that puts you into the village.
We were disappointed with the lack of coffee, hot and cold tea, lemonade, etc. available in the lobby. Cold beverages were out on 2 of the days we were there, but not all of the days.
A limited, cold breakfast menu was available at the Cucina. I believe it wasn't open every day we were there. We went elsewhere in the village for breakfast.

Very very clean facilities. It is older but they keep it very clean, staff is very nice and helpful. We brought our Maltese pup and he was very welcomed. Also close proximity to everything in vail village!

It was a very comfortable room, the bathroom was very small....only complaint was I needed to shower to get ready for a wedding and we had no hot water...I was able to shower in the spa.

Loved the hotel. So convenient. Walk out back door right in village.

I should have looked at previous reviews before booking. During the first night, the AC unit sounded like a choo choo train ( not quite a freight train) ever time it kicked in. Went to the front the next morning- told the person what was wrong (hubby tried to fix it but didn’t have any tools). Lady was a B. Said she’d get it fixed. Guess what? It wasn’t fixed.
We went to the pool. First day there, towels on every chair that people had clearly just left. Staff just left them. Next day we went to use hot tub and pool-we got there at noon. There was trash all over - 1/2 drank cups, napkins, etc. the bottom of the hot tub had rocks and debris in it and every time I got out of the pool, I had to clean the pebbles, etc off my feet. The pool deck clearly hasn’t been swept/power washed/etc. in a long time.
For the price of the place, it was really disappointing. We won’t be back.

I took one star off of property condition because the room had this old musty smell that we didn’t like too much but it’s ok. Overall stay would’ve been almost great but the value for what we paid for just isn’t acceptable. We booked this lodge through Expedia and the nightly rate was $230/night for 2 nights plus taxes and fees of $173 totaled $633 . However the resort charges $50/day for parking as they dont have self parking and another $50/day of resort fees and taxes so I got charged twice for taxes and fees which is just ridiculous so our overall stay for 2 nights is over $420/night, almost double the rate that was advertised. For anyone who plan on booking this place through a third party look elsewhere coz this extra charges is just unacceptable. We booked a different hotel through Expedia in Breckenridge and there weren’t any extra charges aside from parking. Would I stay in this hotel again? Absolutely not

The front desk staff was great but the valet staff was pretty rude upon arrival and again when we were leaving. The property is pretty but under construction as we knew.
3.0
Overall was a good visit but not sure I would stay at this property again.
The good:
The location is unmatched. It’s right by gondola 1 and in the middle of everything. We never drove the entire time we were there.
The bad:
There was construction going on right outside our window that started everyday at 7 am. I really wish the property had told us before booking that we would be dealing with constant construction noise.
The bellman/valet guys were rude and took forever to deliver our bags.
The hotel is supposed to have a shuttle service. One night they took us somewhere and then refused to come get us.
Limited food options. The breakfast is pretty limited on the property. Elways is great, but it doesn’t open until 5 pm
The ugly:
The gym smelled horrible
The pool was supposed to be heated and it was NOT. It was freezing

We enjoyed the location and great amenities. The place is getting a little tired and run down, though. We have stayed there before (3 years ago), and it seems like a refresh is in order. The mattresses were pretty hard in the rooms where we stayed. It’s a really big property so the status of the room may depend on where in the property you’re located. Friendly staff.

Great location, pool was great.

Excellent location and nice property

Everything was great but paying extra $50 for parking and $50 resort fee per night was a big dent to my purse. We were from Canada and exchange rate made it more expensive. We didn’t even use any resort amenities at all. Place was excellent but I think they should consider parking or resort fee part of the room booking.
Hope you understand.

Valet staff was friendly and attentive. Front desk was not. No fridge in room. No A/C. Hotel is older, needs some touch up work.

Everything was wonderful, but the room we were given (mountain view with outdoor space) was next to construction they were having done on the rooms adjacent to ours. It was unsightly and the noise started about 730 am.

Super friendly staff, velvet remembered my name. Right by the main gondola for easy lift access.
The furniture in my room was dated, but ok.
Bathroom wasn’t clean, had hair from a previous guest in the shower. And construction right out side the room was a little annoying.
