Check in on 11/21/2024 my room was 527.00 they charge me 677.00 after showing them my bank statement over the phone they said the will reverse the charge but never did but I really find it interesting that they computer showed 527.00 but my account show 677.00 something was up with them I will be filling reports with my bank and law enforcement

Customer service was excellent and check-in was very easy. You can tell they clean the room very well, but when you start looking closely, it looks like the hotel has a very serious black mold problem. I could see it under the toilet, but only because I used the bathtub. You could see it in the baseboards that have been painted over, coming out in some of the tiles, etc. I spent $200 for a night. But I would rather spend $50 more to stay in a hotel that didn’t have mold. So if you need a place to stay, this is suitable. But if you have asthma or mold sensitivity, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Greeted by the nicest and most friendly check in lady. She gave us detailed instructions and info with a smile. Room was neat and tidy, ac and windows open for great ventilation. We needed a fork at 11pm and the manger was super nice to walk my partner all the way to a supply room just to help us- VERY KIND! On top of it free breakfast was great (WAFFLES SO YUMMY) and the server was constantly cleaning, restocking the food items + making sure we were enjoying the food. Overall I LOVED THIS PLACE and will be returning when we need a date night with a hot tub room <3

What a great find. One night for after a long flight. We wanted somewhere not too far from LAX. The hotel was clean and the staff were so friendly. Felt very safe here. Parking under cover with lots of spaces. Would definitely stay next time we can.

Room looked old and had a funky smell. For the price I wish I would’ve booked somewhere else. Expected more since I was in hermosa beach. Some of towels and bed sheets looked stained. Wouldn’t go back. I prefer motel 6.

I always stay here when I’m in LA. It’s very comfortable and close to downtown Hermosa Beach. The front desk staff are very helpful.

Worst experience ever..its smells like a homeless shelter with mold in the bathroom and water dripping from the faucet..for the money they charge they could upgrade the place...then 10 dollars a night to park..for 50 bucks more you could stay at another hotel well worth it.

Unfortunately the elevator was out of service our entire stay. The staff was friendly and responsive to our requests. However, with out the elevator we had to bring our luggage up and down stairs.

Overall, not a bad place to stay. The hot tub is large, and there weren't many guests. The property is a little less than a mile from the beach (the view rooms can see the ocean, but it's not oceanfront). The walk is nice, but coming back it is uphill a bit. There was a $10/day parking (covered). There's a Trader Joes very close.

Great price for a nice room. Ice machine was broken, but the staff was friendly and I felt safe the whole time. Room smelled a little musty but the bed was comfortable. Overall a decent place!

Have stayed at this property a number of times. Excellent location as shopping, restaurants, and attractions are nearby. Easy walk to beach and great restaurants. Nice room. Only issues are that you have to request housekeeping and housekeeping is not available on Sundays. Of more concern is that a daily $10 charge for parking is not well disclosed

The room was very spacious and comfortable. It was very quiet, even though it was on a busy street. The bathtub could use a refresh. The free breakfast was tasty. Waffle & fruit were excellent. And I really like that they had hard boiled eggs. The breakfast attendant was very courteous and real pensive when the coffee ran out. I would definitely stay here again.

There is no pool only an old spa. The ice machine didn’t work. I asked the front desk for ice and I was told they didn’t have any. The WiFi didn’t work when I asked about it they said if you have Verizon it was spotty.

Typical California, hasn't been refreshed in 40 years. Air conditioning loud and not working well. Toilet flushed very slowly. Breakfast cheap and extremely over crowded and under staffed. Room cleaning every 3 days. Bathroom looks like it belongs in a museum.

Maintenance isn't great. Stayed here 2 weeks ago and the ice maker broke. Still was not fixed 2 weeks later. Had an ocean view room but the windows were really dirty so couldn't really see.

I’m a 73 year old female and loved that the hotel was walking distance to the pier. The employees were helpful and friendly, $10 overnight parking (in their garage with security cameras), free breakfast with seating inside and outside, comfortable bed and couch. After making our reservation, I saw many bad reviews but I couldn’t cancel because it was non refundable. So glad we didn’t!! Although it was an older hotel, we didn’t encounter any of the problems others complained of! We would definitely stay there again!

Staff was friendly and professional however we asked 3x, 3 different receptionists to fix the television in our room and it never was corrected. We were unable to get local stations! It was ridiculous.

Enjoyable one night stay for two adults and one child. Comfortable mattress on both the king and pull out sofa, clean sheets/towels provided for all. Our room had a balcony with view of Hermosa Beach. The breeze off the water was amazing at keeping our room cool. Guest services was able to accommodate our early arrival, due to flight changes, and allowed us to park our car while we waited for our room to be ready (which they ended up being able to rush for us). Easy walk to the beach/pier, tons of shops and restaurants nearby, self parking available on location, large selection of breakfast options each morning (even for picky eaters). Truly enjoyed our stay!
