Great value for money. We got a family room with good space and very comfortable beds. Breakfast room was light, airy and with a green planted terrace. We enjoyed our continental breakfast. Staff members were very friendly and polite. Parking is right by the hotel.

Clean as expected for this price. Practical free parking. However, air condition was on and extremely high so we stopped it. It was then impossible to restart it when we needed it later.

Room was not thoroughly cleaned. We found dust on the table and others areas. Refreshments left in the room without explanation that you will be charged if consumed. This was very wrong and should have been told the moment we check in.

The carpet in the hallways and in our room was very dirty. While I was taking a shower I saw things floating in the water. I realized that it was scum coming up from all of the grout lines in the shower. I had to take the sprayer and a towel to clean our shower as it appeared that it barely cleaned between guests. Dinner at the restaurant was very good and our waitress was the best! The front desk was very helpful.

The property is really nice, good sized bedroom and amenities. Staff was welcoming and accommodating, helpful to get information about bus transportation to Centro Oberhausen. I wish it was a bit closer to Centro Oberhausen but all in all good hotel

This is a lovely, modern hotel within walking distance of Sterkrade and it's shopping centre & facilities. It has a very clean/fresh feel, the staff are lovely, the beds comfortable and the garden/patio area is fab. Prices are decent, too :-) I came to Oberhausen to visit family so I did not have the need to use the restaurant but again, it looks great. There is a reasonably sized hotel car par but in the week I was there I only managed to get a space once. Free public car park opposite the hotel & free street parking filled the gap. Oberhausen is my home town and I will certainly be visiting again in future. This hotel will be my number one choice.

We are a family of four with a dog and had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was nice and comfortable, the bath was huge which made it easier to bathe our kids, the dog stayed for free, the parking was free, and the breakfast was wonderful and at a good price. To top it off, the hotel is beautiful. The surrounding area doesn’t match its elegance, but that just makes it a diamond in the rough (but not that rough).

Cozy place not far from a few sites. Had a lovely stay. The staff was quite helpful and were very clear about their guidelines regarding Covid-19. The interior looks to be recently remodeled and the slight natural but simple decor is quite welcoming. Games were available to borrow for anyone interested. We will definitely keep this place in mind the next time we are looking for a quick getaway!

1 night stay, worn out small room, toilet and bathroom only separated with glass from the rest of the room, heat and smell from the shower in the room. Bathroom very small. Shower and breakfast were good. Not enough parking places, location not so nice. Expected a lot more from a hotel with such a high rating

The receptionist attended to us on the day we checked in was very pleasant, helpful and kind. The room was great, spacious and clean. Nevertheless we were not pleased with one of the waitress at the hotel’s restaurant. She was rude and treated us like a total stranger as if we are not a human being.

Check-in unfriendly. Friday night event in the hotel was so noisy that we had to change at midnight to a standard room. I recommend not to stay overnight when an event is going on. The rest of our stay was ok

Horrible service, and our bedroom was so old, it felt like we were on an episode of Mindhunter. We went with friends who had a much better room, renovated. So this hotel is kind of like.... If youre lucky youll get one of the newer rooms. If not... Welcome back to the 80s, with horrible, horrible lighting. Our room was so dark in the evening.We asked for a room change and were greeted with a TERRIBLE service, who refused to do it, of course.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room we were Given number 317 did not have any Internet connection. The signal was extremely weak. We were not able to access the Internet from inside the room we had to go out into the hallway or the lobby of the hotel. Otherwise everything else was perfect

Warm water stopped working. We got a workaround in the morning using another room. Back in the evening problem still was not solved - but there was no information - just had to find out on our own. After a complaint with the management we got another room upgraded to Junior Suite.

The overall ambience of the hotel is nice , away from the city but well connected . Taxi service on call . The staff understands English . Laundry service excellent . Reception desk is responsive and quick . The bar tending service have all the essential spirits . Lovely and comfortable stay for four days

Large trade show in Dusseldorf and hotels all full, even 45km away this hotel increased rate by €100 per night during show dates. Apart from that the hotel is smart and modern, rooms well equipped, good internet and parking included. Room key stated Best Western but seems independent(?) and €175 per night for single without breakfast would normally be way too expensive, I guess during shows they can charge whatever they like.

At first glance nice hotel, hotel front line staff very unwelcoming, no smiles seem put out when asked for my booking, Saved by the breakfast staff very welcoming, helpful, In my room black hairs in my bed,, Luckily had two beds,,,, bath room fan vent was blocked had to clean out myself, car parking very tight but found a space, if you love your car wouldn't recommend parking here, would I stay here again,? The breakfast was awesome although a little expensive The airconditioner seemed not to work in the room it felt like a heater, and when mentioned that to the reception desk they had an attitude. I will not be coming back to this place. The staff at the front desk are not friendly or customer service oriented. You are paying all this money and they are rude. The staff in the breakfast area were different they were nice.

We recently stayed in the Best Western Parkhotel in Oberhausen, Germany. We were very well satisfied with the hotel! We traveled with our two children (ages 4 and 7), and we were all very comfortable. It is sometimes difficult to find a hotel in Germany with family rooms suited for more than one child. We were delighted that this hotel was so comfortable and so affordable while still able to accommodate our family. The hotel is right down the street to a large public park with tree-lined walking trails, open playing fields and a few playgrounds. While my husband was attending a training seminar the kids and I walked to the park. The hotel is about 10 minutes by car from the Centr-O, Europe's largest indoor shopping mall. If you're used to large American malls, you may not be overly impressed with it, but it is a nice mall with lots of restaurants nearby. Also nearby are the SeaLife Aquarium, the Centr-O amusement park and the Konig's Pilsner Arena where many concerts are held. If you are traveling during a hot spell in summer (as we were), you may be happy to know that some of the rooms have air conditioning units. We were in a two-room suite that had a unit in each room. The beds were comfortable, the bedding clean and nice, and the rooms well-cared for. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English very well. We highly recommend this hotel!
