Initially I was extremely excited to stay at Lorenzo. I got the room to decorate and surprise my husband for his birthday. After we arrived back to the hotel from his birthday dinner we could not get back into our room. I went to the reception desk to request new keys but they still didn’t work, so they had to call maintenance to situate the key fob. I asked the manager Khadi: what is the policy for refunds (was told a refund would not be issued). I reiterated I was asking for the policy, then was told I need to let them have a grace period to fix the door and that was my compensation. I also asked how often this issue happens and how to pronounce Khadi’s name, so I won’t mispronounce while addressing him…my questions were ignored. Khadi’s attitude towards me made me feel like I was dealing with discrimination. Other tenants that were not of color were getting treated respectfully around me. All of my belongings were in my room already and I’m being told I can’t get some form of compensation for the inconvenience. Once I told Khadi getting the door fixed was not compensation and that it was required for them to fix the door. He looked over at the receptionist on schedule and told her to write me a breakfast voucher for 1 and handed it to me with an attitude. This was my first time visiting this hotel and have never had a hotel experience like this. I will not be booking again.

The hotel was great itself! It is located in an area that looks sketchy outside. So becareful at night! It’s not located in the greatest part of downtown Dallas but the hotel itself was nice. When I booked thru hotels.com for two rooms for a girls trip I asked if rooms can be near each other and they did exactly that! So great full they accommodated that request! Staff was super helpful and nice to us! Kuddos to the bar/restaurant staff! Ugar was amazing!

Got to the hotel at 4:10pm (check in is 4pm) and waited almost two hours because they had to verify their king rooms remaining. Rooms were also overpriced for what they were.

The hotel is next to a big homeless camp and facing a busy highway. Sleeping at night is very hard. Getting to downtown Dallas is not easy as have to cross the highway. Our room wasn’t cleaned while we stayed there - it was only 2 nights, so not the end of the world. They also had weird large bugs which were crowling all over the conference room.

The receptionist gave me a view of the freeway. She said we arent fully booked. I asked for a corner room with the floor to ceiling windows. She agreed, but it was a completely different room. Hotel food wasnt great and the pool dj only stayed until 7pm

Very modern design and very clean. Quiet even with people from a Mary Kay convention and those attending the Niall Horan concert nearby coming and going. Great HVAC unit for the 102 degree weather. Felt safe the whole time. Great parking options. Close to several amenities.

Photos online were deceiving. Hotel is small. While it looks impressive online-it didn’t deliver. Things were done cheaply-it felt more like a roadside highway motel that got an on tv makeover. Area is a little shady so make sure you have a car-you’re definitely not walking anywhere. Restaurant was tasty and bartenders and staff in restaurant were very pleasant. At checkout i was horrified by how rude the woman at desk was when i asked for help finding a gas station. Aside from her staff was friendly and helpful. I don’t think it was worth the money. I would rather spend more to stay closer to a downtown area at an actual hotel than this boutique satellite hotel that cost me $620 for 2 nights.
