As I’d arrive to my room I noticed that there was no towels at all, no bar soap ether. There was a lot of sand on the floor and the pillow cases were dirty and the AC wasn’t working. But they have an excellent team, they’re very courteous.

Excellent time at Calinda Beach would go again!

amazing place. you have to see the bay from the top levels.. it is great. walking to everything. only advise to add a fridge to the rooms. Other than that the Hotel is great. life salsa music during weekends, free beach umbrella, pretty nice beach. love it.! breakfast buffet awesome!!

Staff is friendly and kind. But property needs a LOT of maintenance…humid smell in rooms, humidity on wall and furniture I know it’s the beach but it needs attention
I ended up not staying and went somewhere else

We had an ocean view room and it is the best view you can get of Acapulco Bay. The staff was very friendly. Amazing restaurants walking distance: forza italia, sanborns, vips and la playita. Thanks everyone. Cant wait to stay here again!

Hotel tried to scam me by stating that I left a stain on the bed sheets and tried to charge me which was a lie since house keeping came soon after I was leaving my room what a coincidence!!! It’s all a bogus lie since these bed sheets are already stained even the shower curtain was stained, my daughters shower was clogged prior to them even showering be careful with this hotel! When I complained to management about this bogus charge I was given a form to state my complain and was told I would be reached but to this day nothing has been sent to me!! Dirty bed sheets, suspicious room service, terrible wifi, only two damn elevators, clogged shower, and a musty smell beware of this hotel!!! Last time I will ever be coming to Calinda Beach rather go to Holiday Inn instead
Do yourself a favor and read reviews before booking this hotel!

Place needs lots of work . Don’t recommend.

The pool was filthy. There were green bubbles floating in it, bandaids, hair globs, and napkins. The hot water in the rooms only worked in the morning. The hotel food was absolutely terrible. Luckily there are a million restaurants nearby. But either back your own food, or go out. The beach was nice but water wasn’t exactly swimmable because the currents were too strong. You had to wait sometimes 5 minutes for an elevator. I’d give this place a 4 out of 10

The service needs a huge improvement!

Good value for my money. Nice rooms, with excellent location, beach front and nice area with many dinning options.
Elevators were in maintenance so, during weekends it was crowded, but during the weekdays it was ok. The room was really nice, but there was a problem with the bathroom floor, because it was always wet (staff said the floor was sweating due to the heat and humidity). But it was clean, and beds comfortable.

The only good thing was the live music at the lobby, the staff, and variety of food at breakfast. Besides that everything was ok but maybe not worth it for the price.

Acapulco is simply amazing! Staying at Calinda was incredible, everyone is so kind and friendly. What made my stay even better was Yakc, who made sure that my family and I were having the best time.
The food inside the hotel was tasty and fresh. Our room was always clean.
I'm definitely going back and staying at Calinda.. it's a no brainer!

The only thing that was good about this hotel was the view, but the service was awful! Not only that, if you’re going to have a hotel that size, get enough elevators to match it because the wait for the elevator is RIDICULOUS! It’s almost a 45 minute wait just to go downstairs or upstairs! We were on the 12th floor, that’s not an easy trip to take the stairs. Not to mention there’s 26 floors. It had no included breakfast either.

The location is awesome near by activities at a walking distance. But security there is so rude, AC broke down in the middle of the night, bathrooms are really dirty and small.

This place looks better in pictures. The whole hotel is outdated and not worth your money. We got here and the floors were dirty we had to ask the ladies to clean again. Water kept coming onto the floors and we do not know why. Rooms are totally outdated not nice at all. Gym closes early and so does the pool. We had family visiting us and they were never ID until the end of our stay which was ridiculous. The food at the restaurant downstairs was nasty and made us sick. This place overall was not worth our money and would never stay here again. On top of all this it’s a noisy place and you can hear what your next door neighbor is talking about. It says it’s smoke free but you smell cigarettes all day. This place was a rip off

It’s an amazing place to stay at with the whole family. You can go down to the beach at anytime during the day. Customer service was amazing. All the staffs were ready to help you with anything
