Cold welcoming, bedroom had a bad odour within the room, wallpaper peeling and just overall bad experience

Family Short stay room was good, breakfast was fab options for all. Evening food was lovely too. Had to pay for parking at the hotel £7per night. Overall would stay again

Booked a queen room thinking it would be more comfortable. I was next to the stairs and woken by the lift each time it was used.
Bathroom could do with updating and topping up the supplies would also be a great idea. Power supply next to bed didn’t work in one side.
Sleep was the biggest thing for me.

Perfect for our trip to Legoland. Clean and comfy. Does get busy when there are special events on in Winsor.
Football table and colouring in the restaurant area was a lovely touch.
Staff were so kind as there no sockets by the beds and we needed one for a CPAP machine and found us an extension. Bring your own if you like to have your phone by the bed or forget to bring your own for medical kit.
Catering staff were fab even when busy and even took the time to find my daughters lost book! Thank you!

Very nice staff - great place to stay !!

Really good hotel, service was excellent and food was really good
My only concern was the bed, confort not all tnere, could have been been better as had back aches after.
But overall excellent

ideal location for visiting both London and Windsor, easy transport into both. hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, no fridge in certain standard of room, air con loud, rooms very clean but some obvious wear marks.
4.4
Overnight stay before Heathrow flight. Arrived early and given our room. Aircon not working, maintenance tried twice to fix, third time shorted out with sparks. Room change requested and, after some unpleasantness, given similar room - all good. Dinner in bar pretty average, breakfast excellent. 2:30am telephone call about food delivery (not ours). More issues about food charges at checkout (again not ours).
4.4
Good location for Legoland, parking ok, check in staff lovely. Room spotless, breakfast had plenty of choice and staff great! Perfect for what we wanted!

Stayed on a Saturday night with the family. We had a family room (2x doubles) which was fair value for money. It was a cab ride from the station so not all that close walking (approximately 20
Mins or so); hotel very dated and a little run down. In great need of refurbishment. The area around the hotel is also not that great. A few kebab type shops close by but no local pub.
4.4
Convenient for London and Windsor Trips, family friendly but the restaurant was somewhat pricey and parking is extra.

Out of all the check-in experiences I've had around the globe, this has to be the worst ever.
We arrived at the hotel around 12:45am
The bloke who checked us in, hardly spoke fluent English to say the least, which I don't have issues with TBH, even though we are in England. Anyway, he made me sign the entry document, it clearly had somebody else's name and address on it, but this guy was adamant that I sign it and put my vehicle registration number on the paperwork.
I obliged, he gave us a room card. We went to the room, doors not opening. So went back down, he gave us another card. Back up again, guess what? Not opening. Slightly pissed off now, considering we had our 3 year old with us who desperately needed a nappy change, I went back down for the 3rd time. This time, the Nightshift manager came out of the back office & apologised, gave me a 3rd card and said he will come up with us.
He walked us to the door, inserted the card, the light went green, I opened the door, guess what? There were a couple fast asleep in the room. Unbelievably embarrassing for us and them.
Anyway, red faced the manager came back down with us. Took them another 15 minutes to give us another room.
Truly terrible situation

Really impressed with staff, food, modern rooms. Only thing I would comment on is the breakfast area feeling quite chaotic

This is our second stay here as such lovely warm welcoming reception staff and a super child friendly hotel. All staff on reception and in bar/restaurant were excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
4.4
Super friendly and professional team
4.4
Check in was really poor, no one on reception queues of people waiting and when she finally came out of the back office there was no apology for making everyone wait.
I was ask the same questions over and over it was like she wasn’t listening.
4.4
The hotel does need modernising. However, we had a good nights sleep and it is a very comfortable place to stay. The staff ate all very friendly. Highly recommended!
4.4
Staff were very helpful & hotel was handy for train link into London.
4.4
The location is fantastic, plenty of parking, good sized rooms, good breakfasts, includes a gym.
Stayed before and will stay again.
4.4
Absolutely fantastic service at the Holiday Inn. Really attentive staff, lovely breakfast, great size room and very close to loads of attractions including Windsor castle and Legoland- would highly recommend!
4.4
Hotel was nice and staff friendly enough, we ate in the restaurant and where told that the kids eat for free but as the adult meals where so expensive there wasn’t actually any saving in the price of a family meal, also there was a compulsory service charge added to the meal of 10% that covered any cost of the child’s meals
There was air con in the room which was good but would have liked to seen a fridge in it too as we had no where to keep our children’s milk cold
There was good parking but the hotel also charged £7 per night parking charge which I think if your staying at the hotel should be covered in the price of the accommodation
4.4
Short stop off between Winsor Castle and Legoland outings. Ideal location. Excellent breakfast, friendly helpful staff comfy beds.
4.4
Under our beds was filthy.
Food and drinks overpriced
Not told there is a service charge on overpriced food. We had to clear our own table at dinner time!
One waitress Sana was amazing and very helpful. An asset to the hotel.
4.4
For money a good hotel, but a bit dated and shabby. Good breakfast, attentive staff.
4.4
Hotels location was ok for trips to Windsor and London if you got a taxi or ride to the train station, hotel location itself was in a run down area. Hotel was old with very poor rooms. Hardly any outlets for today’s electronics traveling with a family. Had to request wash cloths daily. Restaurant/bar was very basic, breakfast was probably the best part nice buffet style but no fresh eggs, tasted like powered scrabbled eggs. Shower broke twice, flooded bathroom twice, TP was very poor grade. Room are very small.
4.4
Lovely room on top floor but shame we had to ask for milk twice to make a drink, however after asking the 2nd time it was quickly made available. Good restaurant but limited seating, again not helped by an air-con water leakage and felt a bit like a school canteen.
4.4
Great location for legoland clean hotel with all you would need for a short stay
4.4
Hotel was good gym small but ok surrounding area was poor run down and nothing to do wouldn't recommend Slough town centre didnt feel safe there at all

It served its purpose! Functional and clean!
4.4
Short leisure trip and ideal for stays in WIndsor and surrounding. A little dated in style but very clean and comfortable with friendly service.
Not the best of areas though so no pleasant evening walks!
4.4
Very friendly staff, with a warm welcome. Kids got activity packs at check in which was a nice touch. We’d just done a long day at Legoland with an hour of sitting in the car trying to leave (Ascot was on too) so we decided to eat at the hotel rather than go back out again. The food was great! Modern bathroom in the room. Forgot to request a travel cot when booking and they sorted one right away. Kids eat free which is a bonus. Breakfast was tasty, lots of choice and although busy the staff were quick at clearing tables and replenishing food. Would recommend

Staff was friendly- house keeping came into my room without knocking but other than that it was an okay place to stay- near the airport.
4.4
Clean, attentive staff

Nice room, friendly staff, clean. Great breakfast included.
Expensive bar/restaurant but I know that's normal.

The hotel provided good service, clean and conveniently located close to airport and Windsor. Also enjoyed the cooked breakfast and choice given.
