We didn’t stay. We tried to cancel b/c the building was under demolition and the sign at the front desk said temporarily closed!!! We had to find another room at another hotel. Very disappointed

Hotel is currently closed for renovations, yet your site continues to allow booking.

I loved everything about this hotel, the staff everyone was great

How are they able to even book rooms online with the state of this hotel.

This hotel was a mess. Not only was there construction taking place right outside our window, something we were not notified about when we reserved, but construction material was scattered all over the lobby. The hallway leading to our room had a leaky ceiling and smelled of mildew. Someone had placed a plastic bag over our smoke detector and the room smelled like stale cigarettes. The free continental breakfast consisted of a lone waffle machine and syrup with a single gallon of milk if you were lucky.
To have these problems is one thing, to have them and not notify anyone beforehand about how it might impact their stay is another matter entirely.

This facility was under major renovation and had a horrific odor in the room. We did not stay because as senior citizens we did not feel safe physically or health wise

They are in the middle of a major renovation. The front of the build had been torn off. The lobby was half full of building materials. The front parking lot was full of construction trailers and pallets of materials. The back lot was completely blocked off. I had hoped for a nice breakfast based on their photos, but nope. Juice machine that only had two of the four taps working. Stale waffle batter and a syrup dispenser that was not only empty, but the top was glued on from not being used. We tried to get help from the front desk, but the employee was in the office with the door open and snoring. We could not get his attention even when we yelled. No fruit, no Danishes or toast or any of the other items shown. Just stale batter and lemonade and watery orange flavored drink. We tried to make waffles but as I said the batter was old and did not taste right.

We booked this hotel because it said it had a hot breakfast. There was no mention on the hotels.com website that the hotel was under construction and there was no hot breakfast. The only thing it offered was coffee and a muffin. If we had known that we would had chosen to pay $20 more to stay across the road at the comfort in.

I pulled up to this hotel and thought it was abandoned. There was materials everywhere. A large dug up pit with no caution warning was on the front side of hotel. The place was very dirty. The water was off from 11a-6p. The workers used the restrooms to do1 and 2 without flushing. They were full of feces. Every floor was dirty. My room smelled like a damp smokers club. The bathtub was rusty with holes. There was no breakfast. What staff was working was polite and apologetic. I paid too much money for this type of stay. I was very disappointed. This app wont let me post the photos.

We booked 7 rooms with this hotel. Once I and the group I was staying with arrived it was never released to us that it was going to be under construction. That’s not what disappointed us…. I have never been so disgusted and disappointed in a hotel this badly. We understand construction happens. But the state that this hotel was in was uninhabitable - unhealthy and unsafe. The amount of water damage was so significant that the ceiling was dropping beside you as you walked down the hall, paper towel stuck around sprinkler systems(which means fire system was turned off), standing water pools in the bathrooms, short and curlys left in the bath tub, stains on bed sheets, a chair that was so stained that if you sat on it you would probably get pregnant, un safe wiring with paper towel stuffed in it. It’s a shame that Expedia promotes hotels like this. I have photo proof so someone can explain to me why a refund wouldn’t be warranted…..

They were in the process of renovating but the area inside was not good at all. Stainsm cracks, water leaking from the ceiling, and the room the rug in front of the sink was soaked and made the room musty when walking in. Should be closed until the construction is finished. No breakfast had coffee but the cereal looked to be there for a while and no muffins, bagels, or bread. Had a waffle iron but did not take a chance on it.

Was not notified of remodel being done. Arrived to a mess. Building materials stacked all around entrance and roof torn off entrance. Leaks all over the halls with trash cans setting under them. Breakfast was not full bar as suppose to be. Day 2 the ceiling started leaking in our bathroom, and later the ceiling fell all over the sink. The outside was littered all over with roofing pieces that were thrown from roof.

When we arrived the entire hotel was under construction. There was a dumpster right in front of the door, construction materials all over and the entire roof was being redone. Broken floor tile everywhere, water dripping from the hallway ceiling to name a bit of what we saw. We checked in thinking the room would be ok except when we got in someone was hammering in the room right above. My children didn’t feel safe and we felt like they should have shut down the hotel until they were done with construction. We immediately went back to the front and found other accommodations for the weekend.

The facility is under remodel multiple piles of new construction materials and multiple construction dumpsters full of debris. The light breakfast contained cereal and waffles options no fruit or pastries. The room was not clean at all. Nice towels.

We booked this motel for the eclipse months ago, and were not able to find other accommodations or we would have. This motel should not be permitted to remain open during its renovation. There were construction materials and trash everywhere, in side and outside the facility. No exercise room, no ice machine, *very* limited breakfast. In the lobby, a gallon jug of milk was in a small refrigerator with a thermometer that read 60°. The smoke detector in our room was covered with a plastic bag. The smell of cigarette smoke filled the hallway, even though all rooms were supposed to be non smoking. Beds were ok, except for a stain on one bedspread. The tub was dirty and the drain was held open by two wood sticks. The desk clerk gave us a discount on check-in, but the safety issues were too overwhelming to ignore. We hope others will ask about the condition of the property before booking. No discount was worth it.

I rented this room because it shows in the pictures online and I was told when I called that they had continental breakfast. We stayed two nights and there was no breakfast either morning. My son went to the front desk and ask him. The guy said we have waffles but no syrup. He had a half gallon of milk and some cereal, but nothing was set up in the dining area at all. Acted like it was an inconvenience that we even asked . This is the main reason I booked this room as to save money on our trip so we did not have to eat breakfast out and about. The room was so/so. Not the cleanest.

As soon as we walked into their non smoking facility we could smell old cigarette smoke. After we got checked in we went to our room on the third floor. There we we met with the medicinal aroma of Marijuana. The room had several things that were in disrepair. There were burn holes on the sheets. We thought oh well it's just one night. We went to our conference and came back to go to bed. At that time the Marijuana smell was stronger, I attempted to get ice and out of all three ice machines they were not working. Finally we laid down at about 1:30 am the bugs came out to play. My wife was joined by a bed bugs on her pillow. At that time we chose to leave.

Rooms are smelly like they have been closed up for a very long time. The cooling/heating didn’t have knobs to change it. Chair in room had excessive wear and tear on it. Request for my money back

The wi-fi was down with no reason why. We expected breakfast as it is marked on website to wake up with gross weak coffee. All the ice machines were broken on 1st and 2nd floor. The fridge didn't work. Overall a bad decision to stay here

Very dirty hotel rooms. We tried two different rooms but after the second room decided it was not suitable to stay in. Front desk staff was friendly and tried to help.
Clearly under renovations so hopefully things will improve.

This is my first review of a hotel. My experience across the board at hotels has always been neutral to positive with a strong bent towards the positive. With that said, never have I ever stayed in a hotel of this condition. The first room we were checked into had an open broken window. Keep in mind this is late December. Stink bugs had entered the room through the open window and could be found in the room throughout. It is not possible that the room condition was not noticed by staff because you could see tape residue around the window seal. I requested a different room and informed the front desk about the rooms condition. Front desk staff was polite and quickly gave us a different room directly across the hallway. This room had the same issue with the window however someone had shoved a towel into the base of the window frame and used tape to cover the sides of the window. Although not a complete seal it was covered in a way that made it more difficult for bugs to enter. Initially when we entered the room the smoke detectors were making the standard beep noise as if they had either been disconnected or needed replacement batteries. The noise did stop about ten minutes after we entered the room. The heating unit below the window looked as if it was from 1980 and had broken knobs and buttons. When it was turned on you could definitely "smell" the heat. It was a very metallic, old heat kind of smell. There was no bedding for the pull out sofa.

bad, I drove with my family for 900km, I was very tired, we arrived at the hotel around 9:30pm, the room was cold, the heater didn't work properly, it was old, we had to sleep with sweaters on, it said it was smoke free but the hotel smelled cigarette, my floor and my room too. It was a bad experience, breakfast was not good and we left without having breakfast.

There was no heat didn't bother to call about that. There was the smallest amount of water in the toliet bowl glad I only had to pee the toliet paper didn't make the flush. My money is to be returned by exp. but only if I make a complaint.Out of there by 530 pm. The rooms are older very clean and nice linnens and carpet . Lobby very nice. It will be nice once the reno is fully completed . The smoking is a deal breaker'
