The hotel seems to be older and needs some renovations and changes to its operations but may be banking on its brand to continue services that don't fit with the current condition. Their breakfast is a slightly upgraded buffet that is overpriced and offers basically the same 5 items every day. You are served coffee and for that privilege are expected to pay a tip on food that you would otherwise get as part of a complimentary breakfast at any other hotel. You cannot connect your streaming services in your room because the tv is too old, unless your phone is also old enough to be able to download some outdated app or you bring an hdmi cord. The rooms are pretty spacious but not super clean.

TV didn’t work !!
Next door room was full of people all talking fighting screaming, I couldn’t sleep
I have to leave after few hours I couldn’t stand it all unfortunately was not happy experience this time.

Staff was very courteous and helpful.
The only negative was Hotels.com let me down on notifying the Hilton of my reservation. There was no way to track down my reservation given the confirmation number I was provided via email.
Hotels.com phone numbers desk staff called were not very helpful. After forty stressful minutes, desk staff were able to book a room for me (at a lower price) with the assurance I would not also be charged for my original reservation thru Hotels.com.

Great guest services, great environment; 14 min drive to George Mason University which is where my daughter attends school. The school offers a discount at other hotels but we always stay here.

Loved it but they need to fix elevator situation. It took way too long to get one. Only flaw because staff couldn’t have been nicer.

Check in was very easy. The hotel is in a great location, close to restaurants, stores and coffee shops. all within walking distance. Hotel staff was very knowledgeable and very helpful. The only issue was that the walls in the rooms are very thin. You can hear everything the ppl in the next room are saying and their dog wouldnt stop barking. Can hear everything in the halls as well. BUT it wasnt bad where I couldnt deal. Id definitely stay at this hotel again.

Our stay was very pleasant. Very comfortable accommodations. Enjoyed the food in the dining room. Very impressed with the staff who were very cordial regardless of the task they were fulfilling!

I usually expect better from a Hilton property. I know it’s not a 5-star place, but the front desk girl was like, blah. Not even a “Hello, how are you.” The room was Holiday Inn quality. The TV didn't work, but being that it was a little weekend getaway with my wife, it wasn't like we would watch any TV if you know what I mean. The bed was amazing, though; see where I’m going with this. Anyway, I would stay there again. Thanks

We switched to this hotel because our first choice was an absolute nightmare! This hotel was a step above the rest! They did have some places where you could tell the building was aging but they had done a decent job of maintaining it. Everything was in great working order. Upon check in we were offered choice of floors and choice of views. Their downfall was that two of their 3 elevators were down for repairs which led them to allow us to use the service elevator, it was inconvenient but nice to see they adapted to care for the customer. Their pool is listed online but there are no photos. That's because the pool is being renovated. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the service from staff was top knotch. Highly recommend this hotel!

The elavators did not work, all 3 of them. They allowed us to use the service elavator if the regular elavators were down.. and even the service elavators did not work. My husband and i entered an elavator with a girl having an anxiety attack because she was stuck inside for 5 minutes prior to us getting on. They have water in the room, but if you are jot a member, you will be charged 2$ for drinking it. Tv remote worked, but would not allow us to press "enter" to select anything, so no tv for us. Beautiful on the outside, rooms were beautiful also, everything just did not work.

Beautiful, quiet area surrounding the property. I was under the impression that housekeeping would come and change our linen. It seems as if they just came and did a little quick sweeping. I don’t like how we had to request housekeeping to change our linens after they Poorly made up our beds. I discussed my concerns with the front desk team, and they immediately resolved our issue. I would definitely stay here again, my overall experience was great

I took my daughter to a concert and we stayed one night at this hotel. It was nice and the staff was friendly. The beds are not very comfy, I woke up feeling like I was laying on a board. I would still stay again.

I always enjoy my stay at the Hilton Fairfax. Wonderful front desk staff and this time I used room service and truly enjoyed the food.

We only stayed one night and came for an event so we really did explore the area much but we loved the set up of the King bed room and how clean it was. It’s not as quiet as you would hope because you definitely hear what’s happening in the neighboring room and hall way. But for price, location, cleanliness and atmosphere I would definitely come back for another stay.

Ok, so the ice maker has mold or some kind of black substance in it.
My ac stopped working at 11:30pm ( but they did fix pretty quick ).
The room wasn’t very clean.
Elevator area had old energy drink sitting there for 3 days.
I say a bug (a roach ) in my room as I was leaving. I was in such a rush to catch my plane that I didn’t have time for a call and the whole process.
This was kind of a disappointing stay for a Hilton. I think the hotel needs some care from higher ups that the hotel staff can’t take on theirselves. The common areas were the cleanest places.
