The room layout was a bit goofy and inconvenient in certain ways, but it was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly! Jeff in the hotel restaurant in the morning was an incredible host, and super friendly!

Hotel is either newer or recently renovated. Rooms are clean and have everything you need where you need it and a good choice in the area. Only unusual thing was in order to check me in early, like 145-200p I was told I had to enroll in IHG rewards program. Not a huge deal but I didn’t want to join another program.

We only stayed one night as we were in town for an event. The level of cleanliness was concerning Some things clearly hadn't been cleaned in awhile.

The staff was great - super friendly and nice, it is what kept your star rating at a three instead of a two. The interior of the hotel room, while it looked nice at a quick glance, the more I stayed the less impressed I was. The curtains were torn/ripped. If this was done by a previous occupant, I'm sure they had to pay for that damage. It's sad that those fees didn't go toward replacing the curtains. Especially for such pretty windows. The shower curtains were also ripped and old. It's time to replace them. The floors were disgusting. I spilled some water on the hardwood, and when I went to clean it up, my rag was gray after a few quick wipes. Does no one ever mop your floors? I ended up wearing socks the rest of my visit. It made me wonder about the cleanliness of all other aspects like the couch and carpet. Price was right, and it was very close to the I Hotel and Conference Center for the event I attended. Can't say I'd stay here again if I needed to revisit Champaign.

Nice and friendly staff. Parking at the hotel is limited. Oftentimes, we need to park across the street at the hotel's additional parking, which can be inconvenient, especially with luggage.

Although the hotel was not nearly full, the room was occupied by someone who had the TV on all night. This in a pair of rooms separated by two doors instead of a wall. Why not spread everyone out more? The phone didn’t work, so I had to go down at 3AM to get management to inform the noisy guest to be quiet. The TV stayed on but was not as loud. I had to change rooms. The second one had several things broken.

The stay was good for what I needed. It was a last minute booking and the closest to the actual center I had to do training at. The back elevator was out and I was on the top floor in the very rear of the hotel, so I had to climb some stairs.

Easy check in, accessible parking, clean room, great hot water/water pressure, large room. Located near several quick eats. Design colors are really dark/drab. Parking lot was poorly lit. Overall very good stay.

Charged sky high rates for graduation weekend. Never cleaned room. During the night person was knocking on doors at waking us up. Would not accommodate a one hour late checkout Location of hotel was great for graduation and some staff were very nice. Room was dark and weirdly arranged. Bathroom was nice and had a sliding door. But glad I will never have to stay there again!

Indoor pool closed for maintenance. Parking across the street, with tiny lot by the entrance - had to make several trips walking to unload my car. No microwave oven in the room, had to go down to the lobby. No flexibility for late checkout, no shower in pool area to use after running Illinois Marathon 4-27-24. Not impressed for over $200 for one night. Room was very clean, however.

My room was on the 5th floor and there was NO elevator access to the 5th floor. My instructions were to go to the 4th floor, walk the entire level & take the stairs to the 5th. What hotel does not have access to all levels? Ridiculous!

The hallway by room 300 and 320 smelled really strongly of weed. It was really annoying. I know that is out of your control and it was probably the guests smoking but still was annoying to smell when I got on and off the elevator last night

Great staff, especially Jeff and Keisha in the dining room. Impressive breakfast with china, silverware, real napkins and good coffee (many hotel chains serve such watery coffee that it's not even worth drinking). Nice firm bed - such a relief for my back! Only issue was no hot water in the bathroom the last night I was there but it wasn't a big deal. One minor suggestion - the barn door in my room was designed so that when it was fully closed, the recessed handle on the inside was entirely covered by the wall. Not easy to get the door open from the inside of the bathroom when that happens! fortunately i noticed this before i used the bathroom and stuck a towel in the doorway so the door could never close all the way. Just a word of warning to your architect that this detail can create panic if someone gets trapped in the bathroom.

Upon arrival, front staff was not attentive and like I was disturbing whatever they were doing, could have simply said, “we will be with you in a minute”. The rest of staff was great that I dealt with though, the room was fantastic, no complaints whatsoever, very much enjoyed my room stay. The hotel seemed outdated, not real clean or kept walking through halls and cleaning elevator buttons, rooms great but overall interiors needed some attention.
