Finally a hotel in Mexico with a soft bed and good coffee.

We had social commitments and the hair dryer did not work. We reported it several times, but the did nothing.

Hotel was pretty clean, personnel were very friendly and courteous. They let me borrow a wheel chair during my stay. The only uncomfortable thing was the beds, I shared a bed with my daughter and because they were double beds and not queen size beds we were both uncomfortable. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

This hotel is old overall OK but the bathroom had a really bad odor like sewage that did not go away.

No coffee in the room or anywhere on the property - to get a cup it's $60 pesos! Fridge didn’t work. No hot water in the shower. Moved to another room so we could get ready for the wedding we were attending, and that room had no fridge!

A lovely property and one of the most amazing breakfast/lunch buffets I've dined at in Mexico. Beautiful to walk out in the morning and hear birds - way better than being in a highrise hotel with no gardens or birds. The buffet had live musicians Saturday morning and the staff is excellent.

I like everything about this place, is amazing to wake up surrounded by beautiful people and beautiful gardens
Something I did not like is you remove a beautiful tree outside la Huerta restaurant possibly today it was covered with those beautiful yellow flowers

Very old hotel with TERRIBLE MAINTENANCE.. the Air conditioning didn’t work even though I told them, they never did something, same with the hot water. Never worked.
The carpet is like 40 years old, very dirty

As soon as you get into the Hotel and go to reception, avoid talking or beign attended by Melissa, she is one of the receptionist with the worst attitude in the world.
America is the best receptionist and the rest of the staff are amazing.

O liked the location is in a safe place with easy access.
The hotel is updated needs urgent remodeling, the bath towels are old, the bathroom is uncomfortable, the toilet is 10 cm from the mirror and vanity. The food quality is poor, I tried room service, they suggested a steak asked for medium rare it looked like jerky, I could not eat that, the breakfast buffet same thing, low in options, the tamales dry, I did not like it at all.

We had to leave the next day since we checked in late and unable to find alternative accommodations. The room was super humid and the mattress and sheets felt wet. The room appeared like it had water damaged

A lot of great improvements. María Bonita restaurant with a new extraordinary chef. La Huerta Cousy restaurant with great service and food it’s perfect for any business meeting (breakfast) with a Guadalajara outdoor style. Front desk very efficient and helpful.

The reviews listed seemed unfavorable. We had an enjoyable time, the room was consistent with a 3.5 star Mexican hotel. The low building profile, balconies, common and open areas are a spacial comfort when compared to hermetically sealed structures. Staff, parking valet, maintenance and room service responded almost immediately! We exclusively Uber'd as far as Tlaquepaque for stress free transportation in GDL. The weather was perfect. Dinning was superb near by. Earplugs are helpful as the adjoining room doors are paper thin.

I have always enjoyed the Camino Real. The property is looking a little tired, but the beds are comfortable, the staff wonderful, the grounds are green and expansive and their breakfast/brunch buffet is really good.
Their afternoon/evening restaurant has a limited menu and the service was terrible the day I was there. Overall there’s room for improvement, but I’ll go back again.
