Stay was good upon arriving.
The next day there was no hot water to shower. Running water had a yellow/brownish color. When we notified the front desk she stated it was an issue but was never notified at check-in.

Hotel was very clean and staff was very nice. Only stayed one night so didn’t have much time in room but overall would stay again no questions.

The hospitality was simply amazing!

We checked in online using the link that was sent through email. They made everything seem like we were all good to go. Once we arrived at the hotel they told us we had been marked as no show and had to re book and pay all over again.

Awesome hotel, clean and comfortable

This hotel is indeed very nice. Room was clean and appointed well. Staff very courteous and professional. Nit picks are TV was difficult to navigate channels, pillows were hard to sleep on. $30 breakfast buffet is ridiciously priced for the average person, although far better than a contintental breakfast. $54 a night valet when you don't have any other choice is a bummer. The hotel gives you a $10 credit if you turn down daily room service. In my opinion, it's not worth it. We stayed three days and only got $10 credit, but credit for what? You only get it at the end of the stay. Nit picking, but you asked. Would I stay at this hotel again? Yes. Next time, I will bring my swim trunks because the pool looked awesome.

There's nothing wrong with the hotel itself. The area it's in is just kind of dead. Not the hotel's fault. Taking an uber from here is easy.

As we entered the hotel Mrs. Doris was the friendly face with a smile and a hello. Then we had other staff members moving through the hotel which were very friendly and welcoming. The room and food was great. Housekeeping we appreciate you very much. Ty you all

We loved our stay here! From check-in to check-out the staff was really friendly and helpful. The property felt clean and well taken care of. The room was a good size and better than we expected it to be. They gave us a high floor as we requested, which was wonderful. The bed was very comfy and had plugs for the gadgets (we loved the light strip on the headboard). We had a king room which had a comfy couch and nice desk area. The bathroom wasn't huge but it suited the 2 of us. The only thing we didn't love was the shower, which is an open walk-in shower with no door; we just aren't a fan of that style. The hotel was quiet overall when we were there, even though it seemed like there were lots of people coming in/out; once in your room we didn't hear any noise. The bagel shop downstairs was great, made good lattes and had friendly service. Not a on of stuff in immediate walking distance but if you go a few blocks there are some options, and its super close in driving distance to all the things. Overall, we were so pleased with our stay and would definitely come back.

There was an illuminated button on the bed backboard that controlled some lighting. While I understand the purpose of having the button illuminated, I found it difficult going to sleep with the room being light up by the button LED. I could find no way to turn it off or unplug it to stop the light.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Houston Downtown from June 6-8, 2024, booked through Expedia. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by billing errors and refund issues. Despite paying for my stay in full through Expedia, I was wrongfully charged by the hotel for an additional night. Although the front desk acknowledged the mistake on June 19th, they failed to correct the billing and instead refunded the early check-in fee to a credit card that wasn't mine. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the hotel's handling of this situation and suspect fraudulent activity by employees. Beware of billing issues and ensure you carefully review your charges.

Hotel was nice I felt like the breakfast was a little expensive. No coffee in morning you had to purchase from Einsteins and it cost a lot. Parking was 50 a day but didn't mind that because it was valet parked.

I loved how sleek my room was (king bed room/high floor). The view was amazing especially at night.

The property seemed very classy, front desk staff were friendly.
You may need to check your air ducts. I woke up with a splitting headache every day for the 3 days that I was there. I never get headaches. I stayed at another hotel right after and woke up feeling refreshed so the air quality of my room might be off.
I was alarmed to see that I was billed $10 for each package that arrived, the price of which was more than some of the items. They were delivered in clusters and I believe the charge is fair for cluster, but that charge for each item when, for example, 4 items were received at once is not fair.

The walkable to attractions. The parking was a little confusing but I had a great time overall.

Quiet, enjoy to stay. Valet parking is expensive to me, compare to public parking near by the property.

Very clean with a nice restaurant, Vonlane bus stops here-very convenient. Workout room also big and clean. Interior has a cool tall atrium.

Overall, the property was very clean and well-maintained. My room was clean, but interestingly enough there was a piece of lime look like from a drink on the carpet when I arrived. The food at the hotel bar was pretty average and I actually got something other than what I’d originally ordered. They also didn’t have any beers on top so had to, get beer from a can. The breakfast at the restaurant, however, was very good and the fact that they have an Einstein‘s bagels with cold brew was wonderful.

Nice hotel right downtown connected to the underground path and over the street bridges, has restaurant, lounge and snack bagel shop right on the main floor. As expected all are quite pricy. Elevators have panoramic views of the inside and outside but pics posted on Expedia are not the same, interior looks different. Revolving restaurant on the top floor is closed. Same with most restaurants and shops within walking distance, completely dead on the weekend. Really nothing to do and multiple shady characters strolling on the streets. Outdoor pool on the 6th floor is nice with great view, and has pool side snack bar which closes early but no shade so go there after 6pm. Watch for the huge roaches coming out from green space created on the roof beside the pool. Overall condition of the hotel is good but our coffee maker was not working and sink was plugged, both were fixed quickly when we called in the front desk. Parking is $50 USD Or 27$ if you park yourself across the street, you have to pay with your phone for most of the parking in the city which sucks if you don’t have this option or are visiting from another country.

The room was very nice. Up on the 12th floor with a nice view of the downtown area. Many top restaurants within a few blocks. Only 1.5 blocks from my work event.

Construction near the hotel creates additional inconvenience.

This is an excellent hotel. Very nice. Very welcoming. I have stayed at other 8.2-8.4 rated hotels from hotels.com and they were horrible. BUT- this is an excellent hotel. Loved my stay. I could live here. Clean and comfortable

Hotel was nice. The valet lost our car keys. We had to wait over an hour for them to call a locksmith to have a new key made. The did not charge us for valet parking. They also offered food from their restaurant.
