The walls were thin. Able to hear what others are doing. Fire alarm went off and when going downstairs the handrail came out of the wall. Luckily i did not fall down the stairs. Breakfast was fine. Did not know that i would be charged an extra$25 per room when i checked in. I was refunded the amount after checkout. Wish that was disclosed before i made reservations. Expected more from the hampton.

I really appreciated the early 6:00 am breakfast. I had to be up early and most restaurants don't open untill 7:00am so I was able to eat and be on my way.

So i want to start by saying this is the hotel we stay in three times a year when visiting family. But this go around it was issue after issue. First got in room and no hot water. After that we had no wifi which made my wife go loopy which got under my skin. Called front desk said they were going to send someone up to check it out ...never came.

Should not be required to put a $25.00 deposit down for incidentals. Mildew smell in room. Asked to have the tub cleaned of hair. Instead they put a dragon duck on the bath rug I cleaned out the hair.. No coffee or continental breakfast. Did not ask for wake up call pounded on my door at 9am saying wake up then tried to enter my room check out is 11.

They made me put a 25 dollar incidental deposit for a 1 night stay. My room smelled moldy I asked to have the tub cleaned it had hair in it. When i returned they didn't clean the tub, but left a dragon duck. Not kidding Did not ask for a wake up, at 9ish they started knocking on my door and say wake up call, tried to enter. The reviews were not great but i still expected more since i felt the room was expensive. No complementary coffee or breakfast.

Toilet ran off and on all night. Toilet was not fully fixed to the floor and rocked when you sat on it. The bed was awful. It had a depression on the right side and was very firm for the rest of the bed. The room A/C had a musty smell. The coil needs to be cleaned with a wet vac and then sprayed with 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. I would not recommend your hotel based on my experience and I will instead go to the Best W#est4ern down the street. Richard Baumer

Didn't like the bathroom fan/blower staying on the entire time that the bathroom light was on. That was annoying and disturbing. Otherwise, everything from room to breakfast.

Basic accommodations. The hallway lights were not on and it felt a little sketchy. This is clearly an older Hampton Inn and it showed its age. Otherwise, a nice room with fairly comfortable beds.

I am not an individual who can smell well however the old musty smell was sickening. One side of the bed was terrible leaving only one to sleep on. The noise from blower or whatever and pop from fridge didn’t allow good sleep. Not worth the $$.

Honestly, e we weren’t quite sure what to expect from the pictures on Expedia, but we booked it because it was one of the more affordable options in the area and the reviews were pretty good. That said, we were pleasantly surprised by how much we liked our stay here! We only stayed one night, but staff was nice, room was very clean and our room and hallway were super quiet, even on a Saturday night. We were also able to easily get an early check-in. We would definitely stay here again!

While this Hampton is a little older it is clean, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Every single person working seemed to enjoy their jobs Customer service goes a long way to making a tired traveler feel comfortable. The pool was clean and temp was perfect. The fitness facility on site wa not much but they have partnered with a local gym so you can get a good workout in!

The room was extremely musty smelling and the sheets were damp. The room was warm when we entered and the smell was overwhelming.

The check-in was a little off to me. She asked it I had stayed there before and after I told her yes, she just handed me my room key. She didn't tell me the room number so I opened the room key holder and saw the room number and asked her which way. Don't just assume that because someone has stayed before that they know their way around and still give the same reception to everyone

I was dissatisfied due to the elevator being out of order. I know things break, but arrangements should have been made for the elderly. I am 70 YOA and I had to lug a heavy suitcase to the second floor. On a very bright noote the complimentary breakfast was excellent.

The motel had adequate carts for baggage check in / out. Expedia or the motel assigned me a room right next door to the lobby clerks' desk which was highly undesirable and noisy. I considered changing rooms and spent time talking to the front desk about this. The elevator was out for several weeks which affected my decision not to switch rooms as I carry of lot of bags. The bathroom light automatically turns on the exhaust fan which is a terrible design element as this fan somehow created an an absolutely awful sewer smell in the bathroom. Completely uncalled for and unacceptable in my opinion. I spoke to the front desk about this several times but they sent no one to check on it. It was so bad that I was concerned for my health. From that point on I keep the light in the bathroom off as much as possible even to use the toilet and to shower so to keep the smell from starting up again. The breakfast choices, food quality, and breakfast room cleanliness was very good. The indoor swimming pool looked clean.

The hallways had a dirty, sour smell. The room was clean enough but the parking lot noise was quite audible, and I don’t think a coffeemaker should EVER be placed in a bathroom—highly unsanitary, especially if it isn’t being cleaned every time the room is cleaned.

Hampton Inn Columbus-East has been our go to place when visiting family for the weekend for over five years. It's not elegant, but nice big rooms and affordable. It's convenient to everything, and has a good hot breakfast we enjoy and the staff has always been courteous. It has a pool we haven't tried yet, but intend to one day.

Very clean, most of the staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, they don’t except cash though which is no biggie, just wish we had known ahead of time to plan better. Will be staying here again :)
