The reception staff were very helpful when we checked in. The ambiance was great. The breakfast service was even better than expected.

My room was musty and had a mold smell. It was clean though. The shower didn't have hot water which was grueling in the morning. I told reception at check out and the response was, "what do you want me to do about it?". I hope this has been fixed! There were a multitude of charges that were not mentioned when I booked such as parking, occupancy tax, city tax AND tourism tax. BUT, the luke warm breakfast was palatable. I'm usually a fan of the Embassy Suites, but not this time.

This was my least favorite of all of the Embassy Suites I have stayed in. Booked two rooms. Had trouble with one of the rooms not having air/heat. System was broken and they had no other rooms available. That part of my group had to stay in our room. Killed two wasp in our room during the night. Alarm clock had not be reset and awakend us at 615am after not getting to our room until 2am.

Breakfast items cold. Toaster non operational. Omelette line long. Shuttle service excellent. Free drink card nice. Charlotte airport baggage claim sucks

The stay was wonderful! The staff that was in the kitchen for breakfast was wonderful. Not so much at the front desk though. Front desk staff was did not interact well with the guest, especially the female with the burgundy hair. She was ALWAYS at the desk eating and answered my questions with a head shake / nod. Other than this rude employee my stay was excellent!

This was a newly renovated Embassy Suites Hotel. It was clean and the rooms felt updated as well.

we were given a unit for clogged toilet and been transferred to another clogged bathtub. Unbelievable!

Was only there for a quick turn around from a weather delay, everything went great.

The property and staff were nice and helpful. Room was very good. Convenient location. Parking garage is a little unkept.

The airport shuttle driver said our reservation was not valid and we were to Get out of his van. I called the location to request a refund for the pre paid room. She apologized and said our room was reserved and the driver was wrong. He was sent back to pick us up and was angry about it. The driver speed back to the hotel swerving in and out of traffic trying to scare our kids. It was a dangerous situation nd the man should not be driving your guest

I love that tge suites was big and spacious. The breakfast was included and delicious. You have something for the adults to relax and enjoy, which was happy hour.. I really enjoy my stay until we added another day. I can't forget about how awesome and knowledgeable the staff was, The only negative thing was the water pressure in the shower.

The service was well, parking was good, but the room had an unpleasant smell for some reason. Kind of outdated in the room

Although the property was nice, there was no shower curtain or towels and we had to call maintenance to get this taken care of

My experience with this hotel was good. My only complaint was that when we went down stairs to the bar for happy hour they only had one bartender working and it was really busy. Now why would you only schedule one bartender to work happy hour on the day of a big game in town. The bartender was clearly having a rough shift and not one manager came to help her. Customers were being rude to her and it was really sad to watch. When her shift finally ended and her replacement came to take over, a manager or supervisor finally stepped in to help. Customers were getting angry that no one was coming to help them. But the manager had time to talk badly about the bartender that had just left and being overall VERY unprofessional. I’d hate to work for someone like her. Definitely need a district manager to go and investigate what was going on there bc I will never stay at this location ever again based off of how they treat employees.

To start off their was one attendant for check in with a long line and the computers weren’t working so everything was manual don’t know why or how i was charged for parking when i wasn’t even asked if i needed a parking pass like the other Embassy Hotels everywhere besides inside your room felt like a sauna their was the longest line to collect your welcome drinks one guy was working alone it was just staff walking around i felt like more associates could’ve assisted they waited til the line practically went out the door then same person that was walking around decided to assist i never experienced anything like this from any other Embassy i’ve stayed at.. II got in my room only had 2 wash cloths I was really ready to go but i will say next time iam in Charlotte i will be going to the Embassy near the Spectrum Center instead i will not be revisiting this one!!! Very disappointed

Room was clean and comfy. The only complaint was the night shade in the bedroom was not wide enough to cover the entire window and the shade in the living room was too wide. They need to be reversed.

The first room I was in was dirty and the refrigerator was leaking and full of mold. My daughter is highly allergic to mold. Notified the office and they moved us to another room that wasn’t as dirty but was still not clean especially for the amount of money this hotel costs. Thankfully it was only one night.

First, we went to our room and it was already occupied. Solved soon. Only real complaint was a $10 parking card that we did not expect and that I do not think was on the website

There were only 2 of us. I had to go each morning and ask for washcloths.
You could hear lots of kids screaming and adults in the lobby.
Staff was very friendly.

PISS POOR ROOM AND PISS POOR SERVICE. The first room we were in. There was so much mold in the refrigerator and on the floor that it was crazy. Called the desk and they said it was just condensation, said they would send somebody up to clean. 2 hours later they never did. requested to move rooms. the mornibg in the "new" that they put us into had huge cockroaches. so we requested move to room #3. And they had the nerve to charge me for having to put us in a new room #3 bc of THEIR PROBLEMS. the last straw was on checkout at 930am we called for an iron. @10 it hadnt come so went downstairs to front desk to ask for it in person & they said they would send it up. @1030am i called back bc noone ever came AND AGAIN they said they would bring the iron so i asked for a 1130am "slightly late" check out as we waited for the iron. THEY SAID NO!!!! at 11(checkout) it still never came. the ONLY reason we stayed was bc my kids liked the pool . even the breakfast lacked items that didnt get replaced and the omelet chefs were much yo be desired. the only good employee was a bartender who worked his tail off all by himself the night of 5/26/24. Embassy suites do better!!!

We have had a horrible day. Cut our week long trip short because we had to bring our friend to the ER. Front staff was amazing and helpful. We also needed an adult beverage to get us through. The bartenders were friendly and so kind. Thank you to all who made the end of our trip so much better. Wish I had the sense of mind to recall their names. I am at the embassy in Charlotte by the airport. Thank you to all.

After flying all day from the west coast and getting into Charlotte late, I went to bed. First thing in the morning i woke up for my appointments and was greeted with a cold shower and no coffee in the room. After asking multiple times for coffee during my 3 day stay, I eventually gave up. Never did get any. The shower problems were hotel wide. The front desk staff had no answers. I was staying here for an industry training with around 100 other participants. The hotel blamed the hot water issues on us, saying that we all got up at the same time and took a shower...
Another guest was complaining that there was a cockroach in her room. The front desk told her that they couldn't do anything about it. When the customer asked what she should do, the desk staff replied, "I don't know, kill it?"
My guest room and the meeting rooms at the hotel smelled like mold. I discovered that I had a car air freshener hanging from the A/C vent in my room. Guess that's how they fix the problem.
All in all, I would not return. I've seen 1 star motels with better service and rooms. Definitely not worth the almost $300 a night I paid.
