The staff was friendly, and it’s obvious an effort is being made to improve the property overall, but we were disappointed with the room. Despite it being a non-smoking room, the room and bedding smelled faintly of smoke, there were cigarette burns on the duvet cover, there were hair/beard clippings on the bathroom counter, the was a thick layer of dust on the sink’s backsplash, the TV remote was sticky, and the ceiling above the shower was sagging and cracked as if there had been water damage that was never repaired.

This property needs updating, but for the price it was great. It was fairly quiet other than the air conditioner, but most hotels are like this.

It was a really nice and comfortable experience. Really good for the money. My daughter and I stayed alone and felt safe. The hotel is dated, but it was very clean. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was nice and fresh. Very good experience for the money.

The staff are wonderful, hospitable people who are very accommodating & pleasant. This is our 2nd time staying here & they remembered us & were so friendly! Its very conveniently located near lots of places to shop & eat. Always clean too! We will be staying here each tjme we come racing in Columbus.

Checked in, all was well. The lady at the front desk was very helpful.
Went to the room, clean smelled good. Would definitely give brownie points for clean! Next morning went to get in the shower, turn the water on, and the water would not drain, gobs of hair backed up into the bathtub. So, we didn’t get a shower before we left. Went to the front desk to turn in my keys and told the young man at the desk about the problems and he just asked, “Do you need a receipt?

We went under the impression that this was a higher rated hotel room with more stars but when we got there, we’ve discovered it was a one star hotel at best. We did not stay in the room, and we checked out and checked into a different hotel

Well, I normally stay there w no issues - but this time the air wouldnt get cold, I felt very itchy in bed and kept picking these sand like granules off of me and the shower area had mold in it.
I didnt get there till almost 9pm - and too exhausted too care at that point. As soon as i got there I turned the air down to 65.. 2am I turned it down to 61- never got cold.
The sheets smelled like bleach.. it looked clean - but again I kept picking little sand granules off of me. I woke up with a cpl bites on my neck area.
I didnt see the mold till i got in shower at 430am.
Oh and the only other thing was the lamps had rust on them. Not the most appealing room!

It was a nice clean affordable hotel. Close to eating places. Would stay here again. Only thing I saw needing replaced was the bath tubs. There very dated.

Upon arrival phone and TV non operational. Holes in bathroom door, bathroom floors dirty.
Staff very helpful and friendly and moved us to another room where all was in working order.

I only offer reviews if I have something good to say. This property was a great stay... from check in to check out. The room was very comfortable. And the staff was pleasant. I will stay here again if the need arises.

Nice, clean place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was tasteful and comfortable. The only negative was the small pillows on the bed instead of normal sized pillows. Breakfast had many choices but I would prefer scrambled eggs instead of the folded eggs. Area had many dining and shopping choices. Would definitely stay again.

the breakfast is fine: hot-ish buffet. (you can make your own waffle, egg & cheese, sausage, biscuit) the motel is clean. i had no problem with my room, and everything seems to work fine. you get what you pay for, and this is a little better than what you pay for.
what you don't get is a warm room. i realize last night was cold, but: the weatherstripping on the door is visibly bad, i can feel a draft when i sit at the work desk, and the curtain is positioned over the air conditioner/heater, so that when it turns on and blows air, instead of going into the room, it goes up between the curtain and the window, blowing the curtain out but keeping most of the heat away. i woke up cold, had to put on a sweater, and at one point considered putting on a coat, as well -- despite the heater being turned up to 80. i can feel the hot air coming out, it's just going out the window or the door.

Quiet property and about a 30 minute drive from Starkville, MS. Relatively close to the usual shopping places and the staff was warm and welcoming.

The frudge was tearing up and needed defrosting. The bathroom ceiling was water stained and molded. Staff was exceptionaly friendly.

The wall paper was peeling off the wall where there had previous water damage and there was mold in the room. The sink had no water pressure and developed a leak. Maintenance man fixed the leak and the pressure. My wife had to go sleep in the car the second night as someone was smoking in the room next to it and the room reaked. I went ahead and got up and packed and left as I wasn’t going to let her sleep in the car as the area was a little seedy. You should not book people into this motel.

Property was exactly as advertised. Not the best accommodations but certainly not the worst. Worked out well for us. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Would stay again if need be.
