Funky cool entry/lobby - easy loading/unloading and parking - efficient check-in - very nice size room with great views. A bit of an older smell throughout the hallway-but better in the room. Great location and price!

I love this hotel! I just wish they’d get mini fridges - I waste so much food bc I can’t save it overnight. The staff and security are fantastic!

I arrived to check in, only to discover there was no handicapped accessibility & no onsite parking. I had to park 2 blocks away & walk back to the hotel, despite being handicapped, as well as having a fractured foot. I had to park overnight in a parking garage (additional $30/night) & walk a block back to the hotel in the dark. I did not feel safe having to do that at all! When I asked about handicapped parking & services, the staff was very casual about it & said no, I had to park on the street & feed the meter every 2 hours or park around the block in the garage. No offers of help, alternatives, etc. I was kept awake constantly by the drilling, banging, & construction being done in the hotel the 2 days I stayed, I had no microwave, mini-fridge, & had to walk to the other end of another floor to get a bucket of ice. Being the weekend, I was told there was NO housekeeping services if needed, as they don't do housekeeping on weekends. WHAT?!! For having to pay parking garage fees & $300 for 2 nights, no handicapped services, no fridge/microwave, it was NOT worth the money I was charged! NONE of this was made known when I booked the room. I definitely won't be staying there again.

The good: location, friendly staff.
The neutral: cleaning once every three nights or so. No amenities or food but plenty of options nearby.
The bad: a/c noise at night was somewhat loud. WiFi connection very bad (1-3 Mbps)

The hotel has been remodeled and is very nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of options to eat. Very quirky/funky decorations that were fun. My only complaint would be the air conditioner/furnace. Sort of very limited on the selection of temps. Fan/ air low/ air high /heat low / heat high. I would stay there again.

Hotel was in a great location. The bathroom was extremely small and they were short staffed. They didn’t clean room when asked and did not have personnel to deliver extra towels to room. Ice machine was broken so we had to go down 2 floors to get ice.

The hotel is in a great location with lovely restaurants nearby, shops and coffee shops.
The staff are friendly and the room was adequate. The beds were very small. Other negatives were the lack of room cleaning which you are warned about when you arrive and the exorbitant parking costs. We booked this because we read that the shopping centre was reasonable if you didn’t move your car in and out. Well it isn’t! It’s $30/night so cost us $90. That being said we could walk out to dinner and for getting into Chicago it was a short walk to Diversey station. There is a Thai restaurant near that station that’s well worth trying

Fun eclectic hotel. Lots of great artwork. Great location. Hallways were extremely warm. Ac was on the whole time or it was to warm in the room. There was a step up into the bathroom and the sink and toilet were very short. Hard to reach. Asked for house keeping to change sheets and towels. We received towels only. Would return for future visit!

This was a one night stay ahead of a petsitting stay. Definitely a great value for the location and the amenities. I believe I must have booked a special deal because I tried to book another night in the not too distant future but the nightly rate was substantially higher and IMO more in line for the location. Although the room would probably be too small for parties of 2-3 people, it was adequate for me as a solo guest. The bed was extremely comfortable and cozy. I love quirky, boutique hotel style interior design such as Hotel Versey has. Incredibly convenient to dining, coffee and other shopping. Also to public transportation. And a short walk to the majestic lake shore of Lake Michigan.

Hotel is conveniently located to lots of restaurants. Area is easily walkable and parking is $25 for 72 hours. Pay extra if you leave parking garage

Hotel states that they offer parking on site... beware its a parking garage that's far off and is extremely confusing to get in and out of. There's no signs. Our room was extremely tiny & the noise from outside was horrible. I must've waken up anywhere from 5-6x during the night. I'm a very light sleeper so i could hear everything since our room was right next to the elevator. I would never stay here again. I woke up in the morning with a headache due to lack of sleep. The only thing good about this hotel is the 12pm late checkout.

Stay was perfect. Great location. The pillows were not super comfortable but still fine.

Very comfortable beds. If you have a street view room, it might be noisy at night.

Very cool vibe, great location, close to Lincoln Park Zoo and Wrigley. Great coffee shop right outside the front door.

Have stayed here numerous times. Stay was fine. However, construction Jack hammering and other construction noise. Wasn’t terrible but the noise was bothersome after a while. Making the hotel better, I get it. Felt the rate might have reflected the noise. Staff was friendly and honored my request for a room on the back of hotel.

This was probably the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I have no complaints about that however, all I could hear all late at night and early morning, were people slamming doors and laughing and talking and also early in the morning, they were doing some type of work I could hear a drill almost into the walls next to me it was Awful. It woke me up.

Interesting place! Desk staff were very helpful and polite. Room was clean, spacious, but noisy!!!!! Corner room on a busy intersection, at least it was somewhat better at night. The final straw was the last morning when trying to sleep in a bit, and maintance staff working on the room next door, slamming door every time in and out, and THEN THE DRILLING STARTED…. Great location other than being on such a busy street with all the traffic. You need courtesy umbrellas for guests! Would be nice for those of us caught in unexpected weather…..

We came to Chicago for a week of baseball. The hotel is within a mile of Wrigley Field and a half a mile from the mass transit system that takes you to Chicago White Sox stadium the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the neighborhood for food is very diversified and excellent.

This hotel is in a great location if you're looking to see some of the north side of Chicago and is walkable to Wrigley Field. However, the property itself is a little run down, our room smelled weird and was very small - no bath, no closet, no minifridge. But it was clean enough and we weren't there to spend time in the room so it was serviceable.

Great location, comfortable, good desk service. Only one elevator. Tub needs extra cleaning

The only thing I didn't like was no amenities, i.e. coffee, breakfast, etc. other than that, everything was very nice.

The Hotel was very quiet for such a big city.

The pillows were lumpy. Parking is no longer reimbursed. Despite that it is a good value at a competitive rate.

Have stayed at the Versey several times. Hotel is in a good area for walking to restaurants, coffee, shopping. Had an issue with the toilet not flushing, but hotel staff fixed within the hour. Will stay again.

Stayed here for Cubs game. Easy walk to Wrigley (slightly over a mile). Got to walk by plenty of bars, restaurants, and team shops. Hotel room was small but clean. Good location if you like to walk to shopping options.

Will definitely stay here again. Great price, nice room even though it was small there was no problems, bathroom was clean, bed was comfy, and was able to cast to TV. Ton of place walking distance around it as well. Loved all the art in the building and rooms. Easy walk to get to Cubs game as well and back

This is in a vibrant neighborhood of shopping and restaurants. Traders Joe’s and Barnes and Nobles were across the street. A local coffee shop,Stans, was two shops down. A bus stop ,76, on both sides of street was available. A murals were over all the hallways. Nice lobby with high back chairs and ports to charge electronics. The front desk receptionists were able to answer my questions about the neighborhood.

Great location for Lincoln Park/Lakefront/Boystown. Quirky rooms, but generally comfortable. Upgrade to the Suite to have a refrigerator and microwave in your room.

Excellent location and friendly staff.

Very nice in the walk in and the lobby. Once you got to your room, smelled like stale smoke, the bathroom had hair in the shower and when pulling back the bedding found more hairs. Very old and outdated rooms and not the cleanest. I would give 2 stars. Only great thing about hotel is the location to Wrigley. Not worth the $200
