All of the staff are really nice and accommodating. If you're looking for a place to just slow down in life and enjoy your surroundings. Bolongo Bay Resort is the place. The food and are absolutely amazing. This Resort will give you the natural island vibe. Ditch the industrial complex Resorts and book you're all inclusive stay at this family owned Resort. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Bolongo Bay Resort had a mix of pros and cons for me when compared to other all-inclusive resorts. All in all, there were more negatives for me than positives. Most of the negatives were things that should have been caught by the manager. For this reason I will not be returning.
Pros: 1.Unusually good food for an all-inclusive resort. 2.Friendly staff that remember your name. 3.A family atmosphere due to its smaller size.
Cons: 1.Mattress was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. If I were the owner or manager of the resort, I would be embarrassed to have that mattress available for customers. 2.There was mold in the AC and it filled the room with a musty / moldy odor. 3.The rooms were a bit dated compared to other all-inclusive resorts. 4.People were getting bitten all over badly by bugs (noseeums). 5.There was an usually long wait for food. 6.Cigar smoking outside could be smelled inside the restaurant while eating because there wasn't enough separation between both areas. 7. It was always difficult to find an available chair and umbrella at the beach.

I discovered this property on TicTok. Absolutely everyone was welcoming and friendly. From the Bell hop to the grounds staff. The meals are ordered off a menu and lots of selections. Did not have a bad meal or drink. This is not a large property or newer. Small and intimate. We met Michael who does the TicToks and his Uncle. The only drawback back was the workout room was closed for updates. We ended up circling the property for exercise. We plan on returning in the future.

People smoking weed made using ocean front deck not enjoyable. Some of the staff was great. Old women bartenders very unfriendly. Reservation required for breakfast and dinner in an empty restaurant. Makes your relaxed vacation have to become structured to accommodate the staff not guests. Have stayed there two previous times but will not go back again. Friendliness is important.

We had an amazing time! Beautiful, clean resort. Friendly staff and phenominal food!

What we loved: the food, the staff, the resort's willingness to receive constructive feedback during our stay and make immediate changes to rectify what they could, the live music, the overall ambience of the resort
What we hope they improve: The rooms and bathrooms are outdated. The shower was 3' x 3', barely big enough for one person; It would be nice if they allowed you to take food back to your room when you pay for the all inclusive; better mattresses (either way too soft or way too firm); the pool is great for families, but the beach is full of rocks so it's not great for kids or for swimming.
Overall it was definitely more positive than negative and we look forward to returning and bringing our kids with us. It's the only all-inclusive resort on the island and that fact alone makes it worth every penny!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Bolongo Bay for our honeymoon! The location was perfect for us and the views were beautiful! We really enjoyed utilizing the free snorkeling equipment. Staff was very friendly and helpful! The food and drinks we had at the restaurant were great. Only complaint is that the shower was very small and the room could be a little more updated but it was comfy and we enjoyed our short walk to the beach!

The resort is small but very personable. I didn’t miss out on any amenities if a large resort

Very charming. So many options to allow you to stay on property and enjoy different experiences- snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking. Stay was very helpful, loved the energy and kindness of Nicole in gift shop.

Nice property with good restaurant but could use some upgrades. In particular, taking a shower was very difficult as the water not only was barely trickling but it would constantly change temperature from hot to cold and back.

Balcony view was great, food great, service not so great and took forever to get food. Bed comfy, Luke warm water at best in shower and took about 5 minutes to warm up. Bar staff great, alcoholic drinks are weak.

the menu was the same every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Service was slow even though it was never busy. I had diarrhea the second morning after breakfast of bacon and eggs. My wife got food poisoning the fourth day when she ate the rare tuna and spent the whole day in bed. The property is old and run down and not near anything of interest. Save your money,

All inclusive option is not like in Mexico. It is like normal dining but with exclusions of how much plus tips.
Many different servers throughout the time. Some are friendly and some are not. Food brought by someone else from the kitchen, not announce who they are. They have nice people working at the resort who care. It is family own resort and they have second best beach on the property with hotels on it at St Thomas. Other very beautiful beaches do not have hotels on it and they are the best ones on the island and worth visiting.
Food was good, but we got tired of same menu for a week
And service at the only one restaurant was slow

This was a perfect getaway spot. The room was clean and the grounds were kept immaculate. The view from the room was spectacular! We loved the staff. Everybody was friendly and caring! The beach was great. It is a natural beach, so need to wear water shoes for the rocks, but the reefs are great for snorkeling! Turtles and beautiful coral and fish abound. The food and wait staff at Iggy's Oasis are very good! The pool was clean and not crowded. Will defintely be back!

This property is beautiful but so small. It’s not a true all inclusive. There is one restaurant with the sane menu every day. They do have dinner specials, which is nice. They close for an hour 10-11am, there is no snack bar or any food at all in the resort. If you have an excursion at noon, you need to wake up hour prior if you want to eat. They list a gym with free weights , one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. I even called and asked about it. It’s a small room with a broken treadmill , an old bike, and an elliptical machine. The free weights are hand weights that max out at 20 pounds. Very upsetting!
Every morning we were woken up with loud construction of the room next door, even on the weekend. Saturday morning I had to call the front desk about it. They stoped that morning and told us there would be no more until we checked out. The next morning and every morning after, it continued. There is no hot water in the shower, if you let it run for a while, you can get warm water. The shower is a stall shower with no shelves to put your toiletries on. The only option is the floor. The room had a little refrigerator for left over food but no microwave or any way to reheat it. They also list nightly entertainment. That consists of someone playing guitar during dinner time and nothing Sunday or Wednesday. The entire palace shuts down by 10pm. The front desk and/the beach hut was often out of towels. The beach hut often closed earlier than the 5pm closing time.
