The only thing I missed was an extra pillor to read my book comfortly

Great accommodation in this city. Convenient and comfortable.

The room was nice. Very convenient area as it is on the outskirts of the old city, which also makes it quiet.

Breakfast was super. Good, central location.

The hotel was nice and clean, the breakfast was more than generous in terms of options and quantity for all members of our family. The staff were extremely helpful and polite and the rooms were clean, quiet and spacious

Staff was friendly, room was larger than expected. I appreciated that the staircase was user friendly so no need to take the lift all the time. Location is great.
On-site parking availability is limited.

The hotel is great for visiting the centre of Erfurt and ideal to get to see the Cathedral and old town.
It is typical Mercure so you know what you are going to get, which is fine for most people.
One thing I would recommend is never book a room on the street side on a Saturday night in the summer. The hotel is on the main street for fast food and drink stores that are open till 3am at the weekend (not Sunday). The rooms do not have aircon so are very hot and you want to open the windows. The noise from the street is very loud until about 4am (Saturday). I would book here again but only if I get a room to the inner courtyard. Road traffic is also disturbingly loud even with the windows closed.
At the time of writing this,
To change my room it cost 7,50€
Parking was 17€ on top and limited to first come first served. Alternative parking is only a few 100m away.
Breakfast was 18€ per person

Great location, close to train station and city centre. WiFi worked well, staff was professional. The spa is still being renovated, will be ready in August I was told.
Room was functional and fulfilled expectations.

They renovated the whole hotel Very nicely! Their location couldn't be better. I stay with this Mercure every year.

The first time disappointed with Mercure Hotel, too expensive, no air conditioning, noisy street. We were not able to sleep at all. They should never offer street rooms with all day sun without air conditioner in summer time!
2.5
Excellent location. Very professional GM who helped us solve a parking issue by removing his iwn car.

Very good property due to it's location and the attached restaurant. WiFi was an issue because I kept getting logged out, multiple times.

Comfortable city hotel close to shopping and sightseeing places

Located near the hospital. Had problems with the airport shuttle. Didn’t have a cell phone to use to call them but later found out there’s a place to call outside the airport where the hotel buses pick you up.

Mercure Hotel Erfurt was conveniently located. Our room was not comfortable because there was no air conditioning and the nights were very warm. There was also no safe in the room which I found unusual for a four-star hotel.

No AC and on very noisy street

The Mercure Hotel, Erfurt is one of the best I’ve stayed in. The staff were extremely helpful, to the extent of posting a phone charger we left behind to our next destination as well as giving us directions, suggestions for restaurants and sights to see. The hotel was very quiet but very close to all the places we wanted to see. It’s also an easy 10 to 15 minutes walk to the station. The beds and rooms were very comfortable and a good size. Best of all, the mini bar was complimentary and replenished each day and they even swapped bottles of beer for mini bottles of wine. A great little hotel.

A lovely place perfectly located with extremely helpful staff. Sauna was superb and a decent breakfast.

Good location, nice serivices, helpful staff. Lack of safety box in the room ( at the reception instead) and numbers of parking space not adequate to the size of hotel.

Stay 3 nights while visiting the Christmas markets. Was a 10-minute walk from the train station and then another 10 minute walk to the Christmas markets and the surrounding area where the main tourist attractions are. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast included was a bonus.

The hotel is located very close to all the attractions in Erfurt and the services etc. are excellent compared to the charged price. We drove in a minibus, but the staff found a solution as to the parking.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend. The location is perfect, just down the street from a square with great restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly and answered all questions. Parking was also very easy with their garage. Just be sure to note that they do not have air conditioning in the rooms. The staff will provide fans and the windows can be opened, but in the heat of the summer the rooms can get quite warm. Also, if youre not a heavy sleeper request a room on the inside, not facing the street.

We stayed for two nights. The hotel was a short walk from the city tram line and 400 meters from the main train station.

Very close to the old quarter of Erfurt, excellent breakfast. I had a very enjoyable stay at the Mercure Erfurt and would stay there again. I recommend this hotel

Breakfast was not included in the Price, nor parking, and both made the total Price for staying at the hotel much higher than expected when we booked the room. We therefore recommend guests to have their breakfast elsewhere, in one of the restaurants close to the hotel, unless you gladly pay 17 Euros per person for breakfast, which is the Price the hotel charges.

takes more than 10 minutes walk, passing shopping district to train station. no breakfast, no Wi-Fi. Hotel is a little aged, bath room is clean but needs to be renovated. But the bed is comfortable, and it is quiet during the night..

Good Location. Good price. Easy to get there from the train station. Breakfast was also excellent. Overall a good value

The location was excellent for shopping and cultural activities. There was almost always something going on at Anger Platz. The staff was extremely professional, helpful, and courteous. This is my second trip to Erfurt and I cannot imagine a better place to stay. Access to public transportation was excellent.
1.3
Expensive breakfast..17 Euros...a lot of it but can you really eat all that in the morning...good healthy breakfast available for half the price outdoors( July) in the Square five minutes away.

Not the best hotel you can choose, but it is decent. The room is quite small, though.

Central location right in the heart of pretty town, 5mins taxi ride to train station. Housekeeping will iron for you too
