This location was wonderful and the pool and lake were perfect for swimming! The ferry stop is extremely close, so you can visit other areas of Lake Como without any hassle. Loved this place!

Location was beautiful. Hotel grounds and pool were stunning. Breakfast was PHENOM. A bit overpriced.

The hotel was disappointing for the price. The staff was rude and made no apologies when things would go wrong (AC didn’t work first night, key cards stopped working mid stay, etc). We moved to the Hilton in Como for the final 2 nights of the stay and it was much nicer and more enjoyable.

Great location and general access to lake Como. Clean and safe space. However, we booked a "deluxe lake view", and upon arrival we were given a room that was clearly neither "deluxe" nor "lake view". When we raised the issue with hotel staff, they said this is the only room they got and fits the reservation description. After spending 90mins on a call with Expedia, trying to resolve the issue, hotel insisted on their PoV, until the morning after, when the manager came over and acknowledged the mix up and tried to make up for the chaos. While I appreciate their efforts to address the issue, the way they treated their guests upon arrival and for few hrs was not acceptable.

A beautiful hotel in an area away from most traffic. Boat ferry can take you where you need to go. Fabulous stay!

The hotel is fine but a little outdated for the price. The restaurant and breakfast buffet serves great food. The room wasn't as clean as expected (bugs), and some items were missing in the bathroom (soap). The beds are too hard for such a pricey hotel. Overall, it was an OK stay.

I think the bad reviews don't really do the place justice. As for my own experience in late March '24 having booked an executive room during easter I have the following observations on the good side and what could be improved.
First the good:
- Very comfy, large bed in a large room. Way better than expected and I'd say arguably 5-star level bed. You will sleep well here.
- Beautiful view
- Quiet area around the hotel
- Decent breakfast
- Very convenient parking + charging for EV if needed
- Friendly staff
What could be better:
- Noise insulation from within the hotel is poor. You easily hear the neighboring guests. Wasn't a big issue, but it depends on the guests and it can be loud during the day.
- Larger TV with chromecast would be nice

It was an average experience overall. Overpriced for what it was. The only complimentary item is a bottle of water. Everything else expect to be fleeced. Enjoy.

There was blood on my mattress and the GM didn't seem to worry about it at all!
The staff gave me wrong information about the events in the city. We were left on street in lake como with road closures and no way for getting back to the hotel.
Have never seen anything like this before.

If visiting Lake Como this location is just a short drive from the larger city and so much more beautiful and peaceful. A luxurious hotel with a fantastic restaurant.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Our room was large with great facilities and the most comfortable bed. We didn't do breakfast or eat here so can't comment on this.

A very nice place, and unfortunately we noticed some negative reviews on the state of this old hotel, but it doesn’t affect the quality of the stay. Italy is old and perhaps not for everyone. Staff is kind and service very good. The spa and swimming pool are great bonuses. The location of the hotel by the lake shore is second to none. This is really good value for money. Adding to that the restaurant and bar are terrific.

You sat was amazing! He tended to me very nicely! Place was amazing. Front desk was perfect! They helped me with my birthday needs! I will definitely be coming back! Best vacation ever!! Breakfast was super!!

This property was perfect to experience Lake Como. Quiet, safe, and amazing view with a pool and lake access. Super easy to obtain a boat tour of the lake that you can customize. Parking was available and easy. Streets were narrow getting there as it is everywhere around the lake so be prepared. Highly recommend!

It’s a hotel that has a lot to improve. Very noisy, staff not always kind, we have to pay for example to use the indoor swimming pool which is something that I never seen before. Nothing on the area as well.

Wonderful stay! I was a little worried by the reviews, but it was an amazing stay. The staff was supper attentive and very warm.
There's a Ferry station right next to the hotel that can take you to anywhere on the lake so its very easy and fun to get around with/without a car.
I would absolutely come back and will recommend it to everyone.
I think the negative reviews are mainly from Americans who have trouble embracing European customs (and I say that as an American).

For the cost per night the property is dated and the staff is not friendly. Also, this is our 2nd time at the property (which see mentioned during checkin) and it was the fourth time for the couple we were traveling with. There was no acknowledgment or recognition by the staff as return guests.
Also, there was a dead rat decomposing on the walkway. Staff were informed and after 3 days the rat was still on the walkway!
Neither of the couples will be returning to this property.
