Enjoyed the hotel and its location. Easy access to Canal St subway and bars/restaurants. Very comfortable room and bed and well stocked minibar. Nice diner on site too for breakfast.

Our room was close to the bar and we couldn’t sleep in the night due to due high music.
We had to pay USD 80 for 2 nights just because we booked via Hotels.com and directly with the hotel. Be careful, they charge you as guest for the commission they have to pay to Expedia/hotels and they hide it as a kind of resort fee.

Wonderful hotel and staff in great location

The location is excellent. If you love Soho like i do you are in the perfect place.
The problem is the air con is cold and its right next to the bed. The gym is poor. Otherwise lovely stay there.
Avoid the juice bar across the street. I think i had fraud on my Amex from there.

Check in was delayed by 30 mins. When we got to the room it looked liked cleaning had been rushed. Water rings still all over the nightstands and coffee station. The air conditioner was not working, but they did send someone and he got it working. The layout was interesting as well, the check in is on the 2nd floor so it makes things tricky when traveling with dogs. The rooms are small and the music is VERY loud and we were on the 4th floor. We normally stay at the Roxy and that will be where we go back.

We have stayed at the Soho Grand many times. We stay here usually because of proximity to family. I falling out of love with the hotel. While the service is good (although morning waitstaff is not fast enough with coffee), there is no place to get a civilized late night drink and nibbles (the DJ and the Whisky Bar that’s 10 people deep is not conducive to conversation. The health club is the size of two small hotel rooms and not sufficient. It’s totally fine, but will probably stay elsewhere next time.

Had some issues on the service side including missed/mistakes for requested room items. Typically our go-to spot for short stays.

It was okay, the food was not very good, the breakfast lackluster (concentrate orange juice, overcooked omelet, confused service for very simple and basic orders).

The stay was fine, the service pretty strong but the pillows are not that soft and our shower didn’t have hot water 50% of our 5 day stay. Great location at times loud

Good location in SOHO, high energy neighborhood with great dining and shopping

I stayed for a week, it wasn't my first time but on this occasion it was disappointing. When I returned to the hotel on Wednesday night there were crowds of people waiting to get in and thumping music, lively, that's great, I'll have a whiskey sour I thought. No problem if I want to pay a $300 minimum. Of course my room was only on the 6th floor over the entrance so I could here the thumping music. I went downstairs twice in an attempt to find a solution but the hotel was full. The duty manager confirmed he had my email and promised to propose a solution via email, the email never arrived. I did however finally get a whiskey sour the next evening although was a little surprised at the cost. The barman chose to use a single malt without checking so they were 30 something dollars each pre tip. Finally, albeit my fault, I left my washbag in the room and emailed them on the way to the airport. Again no response. Not really good enough for a $6,000 stay.

Hotel is charming, a little dark but nice, bathroom needs a lighted makeup mirror but other than that all is great! Service was exceptional! Location fantastic!

It's disappointing that we checked out 1 week ago but have yet to receive the email copy of our final invoice or have the final amount settled to our card. I've chased guest relations via email 3 times but have been ignored.
Unknowingly, we booked to stay at the start of NY fashion week. If you are not part of the fashion week crowd then this is a big mistake. The road outside of the hotel is continually blocked with large black SUVs catering for the fashion week folks and the traffic trying to pass is horrendous. In typical NYC fashion there's a lot of honking of horns in frustration and this carries on into the early hours of the morning. We were on the 8th floor and would wear ear plugs to bed to try and block out the noise. It also makes getting a taxi or uber from/to the front a bit of a challenge.
Noise travels from room to room a lot and we had to call security on the first evening due to a massive row taking place in a nearby room. Credit to security they did arrive very promptly and dealt with it professionally. We'd often hear music or the TV from adjoining rooms.
The doormen and concierge are excellent. Gilligans is an excellent place to relax, have a few beers and enjoy a snack. The Soho Diner provided an excellent breakfast. Staff in both venues were superb.
We had a disappointing experience in the lobby/bar area where we were pretty much told we were unwanted by the bar manager as our tab had been closed out (as the previous guy's shift had finished).

Everything you could need for your stay is provided. Service is friendly, professional and prompt. Many walkable dining options and convenient to transit. The area is obviously popular with young adults on the weekend for dating and partying, but the noise and hustle of the street and onsite club did not disturb us in the room. 10th floor Room was very nice, good size bathroom and great city view.

The property was great, it was just as advertised. We did not get to use all of the amenities, as our stay was short.

The elevator and hallways were not at clean as expected

It's our 4th time staying here. It's our "go to" hotel in the SoHo area where we like to stay in New York for the shopping, strolling, people watching, cafes and restaurants.
The hotel is more structured for adults as it has a "mature" ambience. Perfect for my wife and I for long weekend getaways to the city.

Fabulous as always!!!!

We stayed here for one night and had a very easy checkin where we were able to get into our room a little bit early. They gave us drink coupons for the club room which gets packed at night! Room was clean and straightforward, fine for two people. Only issue was body wash in the shower pump took a few tries to get out.
Overall great and will come back!

Fabulous stay !

It was a nice property but was thrown off by the lack of a few basic things that I would normally expect from any hotel, let alone one as expensive as this. No blackout shade was the worst part about it. Seemed like they are wanting to sell you more stuff than provide some basics like tea and water, unless I miss this. Gym was ok.

Great spot

Awful hotel and reservation manager really unprofessional. For a NYC hotel there are so many better options. They will take your money and that’s about all they do. Nothing Grand about RBI’s property coming from an experienced who is not unrealistic. So many other hotels available that have great customer care. Stay away from this one!
