Very nice stay. We have been in this hotel several times and it always is nice. Friendly people too.
3.0
Loud with remodeling going on. Also, not much parking.
4.0
I presume the motel is undergoing a transfer to a Hampton Inn as front of building seems to be getting a facelift. However, accommodations were fine for driving up to unload.

The woman at the front desk was awesome!!

Arrived at 3 pm receptionist says not sure if room ready but checked us in & told me I could go check myself to see if room was ready. Which was not , housekeeping extremely pleasant & apologized. Was ready in 45 minutes. But found both receptionists rude & unpleasant.

Great hotel. Clean comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was exceptional and the ladies making breakfast were very friendly. Nice to see a smiling face.

The staff at check in and check out was far from welcoming. The room was decent, clean but outdated. The breakfast was good. We enjoy staying at Hampton Inns but will not stay at this one again.

Loved the size of the room!

The hotel definitely needs some updating. I noticed on the website just before we checked in that renovations are happening from August 10, 2024 to January 2025, hopefully they will be bringing it up to what you can normally expect at a Hampton Inn. The room and facility was clean, just very outdated. The room did have a musty smell, again, I'm sure it's because of old carpet. The breakfast and coffee were good. There were cookies and coffee out throughout the day, we did not have any, but saw them when we checked in. Beds were pretty comfortable, they are pretty firm and could have used a little bit of a pillow top. We only stayed one night and it was fine for that. The staff were friendly, they even allowed us to use the breakfast area to have a late evening "birthday party" for my daughter, as we had been traveling all day. A good hotel for a quick visit, and was worth the money spent, but I don't feel it is comfortable enough for a longer stay in it's current condition.

Our stay was wonderful, this is our second stay on our summer vacation. Our little doggie was very relaxed here too. Lovely pool, sauna, and delicious full breakfast. Staff is super friendly and our room was very spacious and super clean. Love to come back here sometime!

We had booked a room for 3 adults and 2 kids (grade school age) and walked into a tiny room with 2 hard queen mattresses. The third adult that stayed with us ended up walking next door to the Marriott and got a nice suite there. He would have booked there but the “computers were down”.

Definitely not up to normal Hampton Inn standards

Very disappointed at how neglected the place is and old it needs updating comparing to other Hamptons

Check-in was easy, price for having my pet (Miniature Schnauzer) was a little high $75. Not getting a paper receipt because I booked through Expedia is a little odd. Other than that motel and our stay was great.

The pull out sofa bed wasn’t super comfortable but the room was very nice, clean and well appointed. The regular beds were pretty firm, so if you like firm beds these will be great for you. They had ample pillows and blankets. Easy to control AC as well to keep room at a good temp.
The bathroom, in addition to the usually little shampoos and conditioner and soaps also had complimentary shower cap and a small pony tail holder to keep you hair secure and dry. They also provided complimentary tampons and feminine pads in the ladies room on first floor.
All in all was a good stay.

The bed was not comfortable at all. Other than that, it was a fine hotel for a one night stay.

Checkin lacked everything. She was short, matter of fact, not friendly, not welcoming at all. It was - “Name”, “2 queens??” Then, “room 322”. “Elevators are that way”. Legit, that was it. I’ve had better service at motels. Do better at hiring.

The physical condition of the facility was not as expected of Hampton Inn. Bathroom sink faucet would not shut off. We spilled some water on the Bathroom floor and in wiping it up the tissues turned black. After spending the previous night at Hampton Inn Orangeburg the room was not nearly as nice. Breakfast was good though.

Loved the super friendly and helpful staff. And everything was very clean. But the ac didn’t seem to cool the room adequately. And the bathrooms were exceedingly small. You could barely close the bathroom door once you’re in the bathroom. Also, we smelled wood burning smoke all night. So we did not sleep well, thinking that any minute we would have to evacuate. Our adult son uses a wheelchair, so this is something we had to be concerned about given that we were on the second floor.

My husband and I have stayed in different hotels within the last few months and we mentioned to each other that this is the one hotel in a while where the staff we interacted with actually seemed to NOT hate their jobs. From the staff at check in, to food court, to roommaids we met in hall, all actually looked at us, smiled and made some sort of pleasant comment.

Much better check in experience. Lindsay checked us in and was delightful.

Did not like being right next to the elevator (I mean shared the elevator wall) but wasn't bad

Nice cookies..quick check in...room could use new wallpaper...otherwise very nice..good location.

Seems they had lack of workers, had to wait 45 minutes for room to be cleaned even though we were past check in time.
This is the second year of the same problem, will rethink staying here again.

Great hotel with indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Appreciate the closing door to the bathroom as opposed to the terrible sliding bathroom doors on the newer Hampton Inns which provide no privacy if you're traveling with others.
Pool is indoors which is great. Stopped at another Hampton Inn on this trip and even though it was located in the south, they don't open their outdoor pool until Memorial Day. The kids were very disappointed.

The breakfast was well stocked and replenished. We liked the cookies at the coffee bar at night as well.
