Excellent value for money. My room was an older style single, but perfectly adequate for a 3 night stay. Good location, near Alster lakes (great for a stroll/run) and beautiful Planten un Blomen park. Rathaus about 1/2 mile. Breakfast and cleaning staff efficient and friendly. Poor WiFi. Laeiszhalle also within easy walking distance, where I attended a concert. Would use again.

The hotel was ideally placed for exploring the city. The room was on the 6th floor and was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the rate and the vegan food choices were good. The Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel was lovely and in a great location. It was very close to restaurants and shops. It was an older hotel so the room furnishings were older. The bathroom was remodeled. The breakfast and lounge area were nice. Breakfast offered a variety of items and was very good. If you enjoy a more traditional hotel , I would recommend it. The staff were very courteous and professional.

Family trip to Hamburg. Hotel is in a great location. Free parking after 8pm in front of hotel on the boulevard street. Other than that a parking structure I was told was 15min away. Room was great and breakfast as well.

A delightful family-run hotel just 50 or so yards from the Stephanplatz Ubahn station. Comfortable and compact rooms (a little too compact perhaps) and an excellent breakfast. The desk staff are charming and helpful (except for one grumpy young man during the day) and the hotel is remarkable value for money. Congratulations.

Easy and fast check in. Very well located. The room is very basic but has what is needed. 10 out of 10 for cleanliness with a very comfy bed and. Could have been better if it had air conditioning, specially during the heatwave now but, unfortunately, not even a fan I had in the room. Staff are all very polite and pleasant. Breakfast is average but ok. The location is, undoubtedly, the highest selling point. If younger travelling on a budget, I totally recommend it.

I stayed here from the 22nd to 25th August. I am currently learning German and the staff were excellent in helping me to develop & learn. The hotel provided excellent breakfast options, had transport for the U-Bahn down the road and was next door to a variety of excellent shops. Fully recommend for anyone wanting a great stay in Hamburg. The only - point was no air conditioning in the rooms, hopefully this can be added in future, but not a major issue.

Seems like a art deco building, expensively renovated, all the rooms I have had, were perfectly fitted new with solid wood furnishings. Huge buffet breakfast.... INCREDIBLE VALUE FOR MONEY !!! Strongly recommended, if you seek quality and value for money I will definitely return

All the staff were lovely - very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was really good - lots of choice, and was delicious. The only downsides were: 1) No tea/coffee making facilities in the room 2) No iron and ironing board available in the whole hotel - apparently you can ask the hotel next door and they may help? Never heard this before! 3) the hotel is undergoing refurbishment - some of the rooms are a bit dated now

Hotel was easy to find, room was a good size for our whole family. They even made the sofa into a bed as requested. Breakfast is great and staff is accommodating. I would stay again.

Great hotel for a fair price and very central. Super freindly staff. Some rooms have been renovated. Ours had not, but still a fine spacious room! Parking is 5min walk at APCOA at Dammtorwall. 35 euros a day. 5min more will take you to “Messe Ost Parking” (St Petersburger Straße 1, 20355) where daily Max is 16 eur. This is also close to Bullerberge spielplatz, which is great if traveling with children. In short - we would stay here again.

Very pleasant family hotel just 200 yards from the Stephanplatz Ubahn station. Agreeable rooms and nicely presented breakfast. One criticism: the shower is some 30cm high and has a narrow entrance. There are no grab rails and getting out is not easy--except for the young and fit.

Great location and friendly staff. The rooms could be mondernized. Beds are not too comfortable and could constantly hear noise from other rooms and the corridor. Breakfast was nice.
