The hotel was infested with cockroaches. We had to check out after 1 night.

They do not accept tap pay. I also learned that most places do not accept contactless. Since hotels do not allow contactlesz payment or tap pay, we will no longer be staying in any hotel ever again. Of course b&b's are available they accept contacess payments.

Avoid the La Quinta at Brandon—it’s been a terrible experience for my family and me. Upon check-in, the representative tried to charge us twice, and I had to point out that we’d already paid for one night. You’d think she could see this on her end, but I had to show her the charge myself before she responded, “Oh, okay.”
On Saturday, things got worse: we had no hot water for showers, noticed two small roaches, and the showerhead came loose and hit my child on her head. Called
For the manager and he responded it’s plastic . The pool area the metal door is on a stone half of the hinges. A metal wire is what’s keeps the door shut. So far, the customer service has been awful. I called front desk to let them know my room needed change they responded they didn’t have any rooms available. I explained my concern .
Holes on the wall .Sunday no water . We noticed weird people coming into the hotel. At check out the system was down so I wasn’t able to get my receipt.
Worse experience ever !

There were about a dozen cockroaches in the room. The mattress was sunken in. Part of the floor was squishy like it was rotten underneath

The exterior had not been renovated yet, we were kinda apprehensive about checking in to the hotel. We decided to give it a chance and was glad we did. The interior was fully renovated, brand new everything! The rooms were immaculate with that new carpet smell and the bathrooms where very modern looking.

The room was dirty and smelled of smoke. I complained but nothing was done to fix the situation. I understand there is a lot going on right now but come on.

Staff was busy but they could of ackowledge that we were standing there when we had a question.Breakfast was good if you were there when it started. If you arrive at breakfast later you were out of luck it seem it was replenished. . Needed a better place for smokers. They were all in front of the entrance. Area for dogs was overgrown and marshy. Yes it was during a storm we wished there was a path to the doggie garbage can would have been nice. Otherwise it was a good stay. Cleaning staff was great . Very helpful.

I checked out after 30 minutes in the room. The hotel was old and dirty. There were several large dogs in the rooms and they barked constantly. The TV had 2 remotes in order to make it function. The staff was nice but they refused to credit me when I decided to leave after a short period. I didn’t use anything and the room was left exactly as I found it. This hotel was not anything like the online description

AC was not good-did not stay cold and made a horrible noise. Toilet handle was broke and then flushed it by lifting toilet tank lid. Then the bathroom flooded. Hallways were smelly due to the old carpet. Internet was not good so I could not do work. Ice Machines had no Ice. This place was not a great experience. One girl at desk and she said she was so sorry but the owners do not upgrade anything.

It was ok beds were firm, AC made noise when running. Very loud vehicles out in parking lot late @ night revving engine. Staff not as friendly as previous owners. No more free coffee available, breakfast was powered eggs and cold uncooked turkey patties.

Barely anyone spoke English. The “breakfast” was hard boiled eggs and waffles with no syrup. Could not get the syrup refilled because the guy did not speak English. The multiple smells everywhere were off putting. Like perfumes hiding a stink. The room wasn’t bad. It was relatively normal and clean. The area felt unsafe.

As you approach front desk your hit with the smell of What smells like RAID ROACH killer, and it lasted all 2 days we were there. We booked two rooms, one for my family and one for my elderly parents. The beds were so tall mom who suffers from really bad arthritis and orthopedic had a hard time getting in and out of the bed. I did contact front desk to see if they had a step ladder and could possibly use, and rudely they said no, and that if we wanted to buy one ourselves we could. I asked about an accessible room and they informed that is I wanted to change I would need to book one but it only had one double bed. That wasn't a option as we needed the two beds.
In my room one the beds had hair showing they the sheets were never changed but bed was made.
The breakfast was okay, but they need to do better. Meat selection was sausage links in water.

Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, but they would never refill anything until it was COMPLETELY gone. (Will somebody PLEASE eat that last Raisin Bran so we can get some more Frosted Mini Wheats up in here?) Also, the room keys only worked for 24 hours, but we were there for three days. Had to keep going to the front desk to get the keys recharged.

The hotel staff was very friendly and had a decent breakfast, but the hotel was a little out dated and the room smelled like mildew. But not bad for the price and for one night.

I was not happy when I was in room 110 but I’m not one to complain. I never had the do not disturb sign on and yet The staff on that floor didn’t ask if I needed anything, they didn’t make the bed, or take the trash out. I was on vacation with my son so I just wanted to enjoy our stay. When they changed me to room 328 the staff actually went in when we weren’t there: made the beds, threw the trash out, and put towels.
