Saw two roaches and got charged 230 instead of expected 181 with tax seems like extra due to the conditions

There was no hot water the entire stay. They refused majority of my money. I will never stay again. It was only 20 something degrees that week who didn't deserve a hot shower. Why rent rooms if you have no hot water. Not too mention they are serving old re boiled eggs.

The staff themselves were very kind. It is possible some of the issues were poor management on the managers part. One multiple occasions throughout our stay, no towels/washcloths were available and we had to wait for them. The floors in our room were dirty also.

The beddings were dirty like its not been washed, gummy bears on the floor ironing board had tomato source on it
2.0
The room was dirty. There was crumbs on the desk, floor and chair. The bedding had hair all over it. And mid stay I had to unexpectedly leave the area for 2 days and I was never told that I had to request room service, I got back and the room was never cleaned.

Rooms were clean staff is incredibly nice very helpful my only gripe is that if you stay for more than one day you have to request house keeping

Staff was friendly
The hotel is dated, although clean
The handle on the entry door was coming of inside the room, it was unnerving
There was no one on staff to make repairs over the weekends
The bathroom floor was a bit soft when walking though the door
Low water pressure in the shower.
I was underwhelmed, I expected more for the price.

Door to our room wouldn’t lock, had to call front desk, they had us jiggle the inside handle so it would reset. Weird.
Breakfast was simple nothing great. Just muffins, hard boiled eggs, apple juice, yogurts, coffee, cereal, and make your own waffles that took forever.
The hotel room could have been more clean in my opinion, it wasn’t bad but the floors needed to be hit harder with a clean mop and vacuum and Clorox.
We unfortunately forgot our toothbrushes, we asked the front desk and they said they didn’t have any.
The little soaps and body bar were Dove brand and good.
The microwave was VERY loud… we didn’t want to use it again.
Hallways smelled like broccoli farts.
The tub drain look forever to drain.
The paint on the hallways door was peeling, and a few small spots inside the room.
AC unit made squeaking noise.

There was mold in the bathroom, crumbs on the floor and ants in our room. The hotel was all booked and I was not offered and alternative but to stay in the room. The staff didn't clarify what was going to happen to compensate me for the unsanitary room conditions we were left to spend the night in. No one should have to deal with mold and ants on a vacation

The room was nasty, dirty bathroom, urine around the toilet, hair in the tub, and dried blood on the comforter! They say no one was there from housekeeping.

Very convenient , has all the things required, comfortable rooms. Decent courtesy breakfast, nice pool. It is good return for your money.

My partner and I reserved a room for a 4 night stay at the La quinta inn, in tinley park. I reserved this room 2 weeks prior to me coming!! Fast forward my partner comes into town we go out to a concert that didnt end until about 11 pm and we were about 30 minutes out from the hotel. Earlier that day around 10am and 6 pm i called to make sure that i can check in late and confirm the deposit cost. The women asked me what time we would be arriving; i estimated about 11:30-11:45 pm, with traffic and maybe if we wanted to stop for food. The lady said okay i will put that in your note. We get there and i go to get our keys, he couldn't find my reservation so I show him on my phone like look. He proceeds to ask for a confirmation code, i read it out and he found me. He said something is wrong with the payment and i was confused because i selected pay at hotel, i never out card information in. He said that sometimes the third party site creates their own temporary card when the customer doesn’t upload one.. ok. So he ended up looking at the computer for a while and realized that my reservation was cancel, i didn't do it nor receive a email about it. So I said i can’t get a room he says no you can not so rudely to me. He didnt even try to help nor see if he can get me into another room . I told him that we was just tired and from out of town no place to stay he didn't care. It was just a i cannot help you

Our room was on the other side of the wall from the breakfast area. We woke up to banging and loud noises at 6am. Then at 730am they had people leaf blowing right outside our window. It was meant to be a relaxing trip and was anything but. Also didn't feel super secure, there were multiple people roaming the parking lot around cars. Someone was arrested in front of the lobby.

Lack luster outside appearance.
Guest staff polite.
Other staff unknowledgeable of procedures during fire alarm. Phones not working made it even scarier.
The fact it ran for over a half of an hour was disturbing to my rest.
Not a place i recommend.

It needs to have better cleaning of rooms, mainly wooden floors . But, over all will stay again.

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. Holes in the walls, it smelled awful, there was stains on the mattress, banging on the walls all night. Half the door knobs were falling off, the beds were full size and not queen size, there was something really gross on the windows.....just awful. The most awful hotel stay I've ever had

Hotel is aged and small like smoke Room keys did not work most of the time

Keys had to be rekeyed every day. Cucaracha in bedroom. Breakfast was ok...good hot water and a/c. Not too bad if youre just sleeping there but probably no revisit in our book.

The room was apparently clean, however I got bitten by bed bug while sleeping.

The young lady at the front desk with the locs was great! I’m assuming the guy who was mopping is maintenance and he was rude. I asked about parking and he just stared at me and didn’t have a clue what I was trying to say so I just took the risk and parked where I was. The property was very noisy with kids running, yelling and cursing. I heard dogs barking all night. Once I got checked in I couldn’t wait to get to my room and lock myself in because it was so loud and busy. The hallways could use updating. It felt like I was in a housing project! The room was ok. The bed and linen could’ve been presented better but ok for just one night. Then, I woke up to police everywhere out front when trying to get breakfast. I don’t think I would be staying here again it just felt too unsafe.

Took 4 days to get room cleaned. Had trouble with key passes to work!

I would never recommend this motel to anyone!
We selected it because of the price, and I guess you get what you pay for!
La Quinta has really gone down hill.

Kinda dingy and run down. Expensive for what you get. The free breakfast wasn't much.

For the price of the room I didn’t expect much so it gave what I expected. But the hotel charged me twice and one charge was $100 over what I was supposed to be charged for the stay. When I asked the front desk why they did not give an answer except that it would take 3-5 days to refund their mistake charge. So they were quick to take double the money and charge me twice but can’t refund it for a week. Never had that happen at a hotel before so that is the reason this hotel does not get 5 stars from me.

I stood at the front desk about 20 minutes and no one ever came to help. The bathroom had a wooden object which looked moldy and old and the tub was a very high overstep. The pool was very dirty.

The rooms were not exactly clean. I had hair on the walls in the bathroom, my moms room had an empty cup in the corner of the room and the dirt was pushed to the sides by the wall. The bed was so used that it had an indent.
