A lovely resort immersed in nature with lovely staff. The food was quite good and breakfast included.

The evening meals were beautiful in a stunning setting. Staff were attentive throughout but especially at the restaurant.
Good location for exploring the Camargue.
The rooms were tired. Corkage charged if you consume your own drinks in your room!
On site riding, swimming pools and tennis (you need to buy the balls).

A great place to stay. However, if you plan to go on one of the guided tours for riding at the stable at the hotel, you should know that the tours are not for experineced riders and very slow as they include tourists with no knowledge of riding. For a riding holiday, you should book with a stable that offers tours for experienced riders.

The restaurant is excellent and the place gorgeous BUT our arrival and departure experience soured the stay. They were unhelpful. They were very quick to shrug their shoulders and weren't very customer-focused, except when it came to accepting payment.
When we arrived we were too late to get a reservation at the hotel's restaurant. They basically shrugged. It was only after we asked very specific questions about where and how we could get food did they suggest going into town. But they didn't want to help us book a taxi, until they realised we couldn't do it because of our lack of French.
They also abandoned us in a very sticky situation, on our departure. We really needed their help and it could've left us with a great impression of their hotel and service, if they had helped us.
The hotel had gotten a quote a from the local cab firm to bring us back to Marseille, we were quoted $100 from the taxi firm, which was a great deal. But at drop-off we were suddenly being asked for $200 cash. Perhaps it was a miscomunication and the hotel had misquoted the cab company? Perhaps, we were marked as 'stupid tourists'. We'll never know because the Auberge simply refused to help. We felt abandoned to our own surivival skills. We only needed them to refer to their original quote and advise us on the phone, while we tried to clear things up with the taxi company. They literally said, 'not our problem'. For a 4* hotel the people at reception were not providing a 4* service.

Due to COVID, we had to cancel but the hotel reception have as yet failed to respond to our repeated email requests for a voucher to replace the value of the booking.
En raison de COVID, nous avons dû annuler mais la réception de l'hôtel n'a pas encore répondu à nos demandes répétées par e-mail d'un bon pour remplacer la valeur de la réservation.

I was very surprised that with the price of the room we had to pay by the hour to access the hot tub. There was no way to make coffee or tea in the room either. The location and staff were excellent, but I would not go back due to lack of value.

A lovely hotel - individual cabins near the water make for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Lovely pool, lovely environment, lovely staff and great horses on site. Food and drink a bit pricy, but good quality.

Overall poor standard. Dirty filthy pool. No kettle or tea/coffee. Bath taps leaked scalding water on my wife during a bath. No anti-mosquito equipment. Safe had no battery so unusable. Restaurant menu pretentious. Breakfast overpriced.

Nice place on the edge of the city with its own horse stable. We had a view of the horses and pink flamingos from our cabin. It was comfortable and clean. Great shower. Staff was friendly. Bring bug spray for the mosquitoes:) Be sure to visit Aigues Mortes for great shopping and restaurants.

I like this hotel as it's in the nature but also close enough to drive into town, about 5 minutes to drive. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have horse stables for tours which is very nice. The room is spacious. But I can't really open the curtains as my room was facing the road inside the hotel grounds so people would be walking around.

Lovely cottages by the Camargue ponds. Room was fine, but did not have coffe maker nor kettle. You have to go a few kms onto town for a simple breakfast, or pay an outrageous amount for onsite Petit dejeuner.

amazing stay! hotel was beautiful, lost in nature, surrounded with swamps, vegetation, horses, birds.
Two big swimming pools and super comfortable long chairs.
The Guardian cabana was beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable. We rented bicylces at the reception and it's a 10 min cycle to the center / beach.
Very close to the bird parc too.
We will come back!!

This hotel is very pretencious. The room that we had was not as shown on the web site. The bathroom was modern but not practical. The shower flooded the floor. A drawer was missing from the bureau and I had to ask for the staff to look at the TV as it was not working. There was no means of mosquito control in the room, such as a plug -in which we had at a cheaper hotel. The restaurant was terribly expensive and I refused to pay 20 Euro per person for breakfast! However the staff were efficient, polite and helpful.

Having booked an air conditioned room for a family, we only had a double room with no air con - the hotel blamed this on hotels.com for allowing us to book the incorrect room. The owner asked if I was English then in French insulted me and said it would explain my ignorance. I have since been overcharged for the room I did book. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not child friendly and the staff are rude and unhelpful.

We were disappointed with the state of the grounds, the footpaths were broken and all needed repair. Meals were okay, but breakfast especially was very expensive (€19 for very average buffet). No pool service, especially when there was a conference, were told we should have booked if we wanted anything to eat at lunchtime, advised to go to local village! Rooms were clean and comfortable but quite basic, even though we had de luxe chalet. Could do with some comfortable chairs to sit in rather than just upright chairs with no padding, outside table and chairs were fairly worn. Reception staff were not always very helpful, however restaurant staff were on the whole very friendly and helpful.

I picked this hotel due to its unusual location, and it delivered completely. The hotel is situated on small islands with creeks running around the whole site. The wildlife is just outside your door. The staff were very helpful and both dinner and breakfast were very good. You do need to be aware of the mosquitos, due to the location, and it is the first time that I have been served deet with my meal. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the facilities.
