Would not recommend this hotel. Pretty run down and outdated. The elevator did not work properly…it would go up but not down. The side entrance near our room did not work and could not be used as well as the fridge in our room. Their breakfast is a joke. The waffle iron was broke so we were left with toast, a bagel or cereal.

First of all the gentleman in charge was WONDERFUL! Very pleasant at check in, then our bathroom lightbulb burned out so he was very quick to change it and apologized multiple times for the inconvenience. He was a gem! The hotel itself was very dated which wasn’t an issue but it’s definitely had several “patch jobs” instead of actual fix’s & it showed. Several tiles in the elevator & our bathroom were cracked, chipped, or just gone! The elevator buttons were slightly broken, which was concerning, & cleanliness was questionable. There was dust & dirt in several places but thankfully the beds were clean. For a 1 night stay it was fine & I can’t say enough how great the service was, was could definitely use some updating & maybe a new cleaning service. Location wise it was great too! Shops & food options within literal steps! It was also a short drive to the family arena, which was what we were there for.

The hotel is not in the standards that I'm used to using when I travel. Online the room boasted a whirlpool tub...there were no knobs, drain plug and the tub was not clean. The room was on the main floor, and this was also disappointing this was to be an accessible type of room. With my short stature I had to climb over the side of the tub to shower, not very safe. The bathroom tile was falling off around floor area, and the room smelled. The first morning for breakfast there was NO coffee, one piece of toast left, no fruit, yogurt, no waffle maker mix, so much for breakfast. The place was a huge disappointment. The next morning, we just left and went somewhere else for breakfast. I will never choose this place or another Americas Best type of hotel. Because of my work I had to sit in the lobby to get the Wi-Fi to work to get my reports done, I thought that was what my room was for, relax and complete my work.

Hotel is economical in need of refurbish and repair but not bad for the price. Location is great, close to the river and historic downtown district. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to shopping and Basspro.

It’s a place to stay especially if we were in the 90’s. That’s about it. Room smells like cigarettes and old smoke. Continental breakfast…. Should have stated they only offer cereal with spoiled milk. Ice machines broke. Elevator has broken floor and is sketchy. No maid service?? AC in room not working. At best it cools to 75 degrees. Pictures and description do not match what you get. The old saying you get what you pay for is accurate. We thought by using Hotels.com we could view many different options with comfort in knowing that what you see is what you get but that is not the case here. What you see advertised is NOT what you get. Not sure if I’d use this service again.

For starters the exterior was ok. The check in process was a little long. Got to our room only to find the door was already open. The reason for this was the door lock was broken. You could only close the door with the handle turned. So from the inside or swipe the key to turn the handle then close. The room was not clean and the bed linens were stained. There was garbage left in the refrigerator and in the night stand. The overall condition of the room was less than appealing. Minimal repairs with less than quality. Definitely won't be back.

Its a bit run down. Needs alot of cosmetic repairs. Coffee maker in the dining area was out of order. The floor button in the elevator was broken along with the tiles on the elevator floor. Could be a trip hazard. Toilet in the room wobbled and leaked. Bed was comfortable.

The service was excellent, but the room conditions not so great. There was a definite musty smell, most likely coming from the air conditioner, and the bathroom light was so faint as to hardly cast light at all. The Kleenex box was empty when I arrived and the TV remote batteries all but dead, although staff was quick to replace these when I inquired. At breakfast there was no milk for cereal options and no refrigerator that might have included yogurt options, etc.

Upon checking in, they could not find my reservation. When we got into the room, there was evidence of cigarette burns in the bathroom, and there was a cigarette burn in our sheet on the bed. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The faucet in the bathroom ran constantly for which I called the front desk for assistance. The man from the front desk came and looked at it. He said that they would have to get someone there that would have to tear out the whole sink if we wanted it fixed and he hoped that we would be OK with it the way it was and left it that way. They also told him about the cigarette burns and he said that the sheets were clean and that they replaced them every month so we also did not get new sheets. The room and bathroom was dirty, we decided not to shower due to uncleanliness.

The room was a mess, the bathroom door was broken in half and would not close. The room two doors down from mine had the door kicked open in the middle of the night and a fight broke out. People were screaming and throwing furniture about. I could not rest and did not feel safe at all. Will not stay there again.

Broken shower curtain, broken shower valves, broken ice machine, broken floor tiles in elevator with graffiti on walls, no maid service or maintenance personnel on site. Had to walk down to lobby to exchange dirty towels for clean towels, no actual breakfast but toast and cereal. No mini fridge in room, broken tv which was exchanged by front clerk to a much smaller tv. No additional tv channels but only live channels. Outside landscape was dirty and dead. Parking area markings were faint. Could not determine where lines were. One male front desk employee was rude.

We booked this hotel the night of our stay. Check -in was easy and fast, staff was very nice. Property is outdated, breakfast was poor, coffee machine was broken. Bed sheets stained, AC was working but the room was humid during our stay. Nice area around the hotel, many dinning and shopping options. Overall, it was ok for the price.

...you get what you pay for here. This is just an expensive market. Was riding the Katy Trail and this was the best 'deal' I could find. It was fine for me, 'cleanish', no issues. Would not have been up to my wife's standards for certain. All of the FF&E was pretty dated, walls needed to be painted, carpets cleaned, etc. I think every fabric in my room was stained in some way. I would not do it over again, would pick the Drury or the Hampton and pay a little extra. It just does not look like really any updates have been done here since it was built. The surrounding area is really nice, this place just seems out of place due to a below average condition.

After we checked in, our room key wouldn't work. Front desk couldn't get it to work, so they gave us a different room. The place could definitely use some updates. Was ready to look past the cracked floors in the elevator and bathroom. Also, the AC made a pitiful noise every time it turned off. But, what got me was when I got out of the shower and grabbed a towel that had several, very large completely thread bare patches.

This property should not even be listed.It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.Check in person couldnt speak English and didnt understand what i was asking.was there 5 days (only cause they don't give refunds for cancel) NO maid service available for entire time,had to go down and get new towels everyday. There breakfast consisted of 2 pieces of white toast, a waffle maker that looked like it has never been cleaned.The coffee maker was out of order when we got there and still was out of order when we left.The room we were in stunk something terrible and the air conditioner never worked right.The America Inns corporate should check into this motel.

We checked in around 530pm. The guy at front desk was super rude. The parking lot is very poorly lit and it made us feel unsafe. The pool had a horrible smell, was super cold and there was only 2 towels. And left a film on our skin. Our room.. absolutely disgusting. The tub was cracked everywhere, tiles in bathroom floor cracked. There was a crawl space cabinet type door thing open in our room (we pushed couch up against it) The carpeted floor felt wet and almost slimy. There was a huge stain on blanket on bed and we found little wires in the sheet!!! We ended up leaving around 1130pm! When we went to check out the guy at front desk followed us to our vehicle and harassed us about leaving and asking us if we smoked in room. Which we did not we do not smoke at all. Will definitely never stay here again or with this chain!

drove 8 hour's clerk said i was too early to check in 215pm vs 300pm, i was welcome to pay extra for early check in, he finally relented and let us have room, room was dirty and run down, water in sink wouldn't shut off. coffee maker hadn't been cleaned this year, plenty of plugs for charging one of them actually worked. breakfast was joke, no eggs or meat just stale muffins and waffle that could barely be removed from griddle avoid this place
