What an amazing stay we had - they even upgraded us! thank you !

This was a combo work/pleasure trip. We stayed two nights as part of my wife's birthday weekend.
I asked about any add ons for her birthday and was provided a bottle of wine and upgraded room. She was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the extras.
Restaurants were good with a nice evariety of choices. All was excellent. The service from the staff was very good and professional. We will be sure to return.

We were upgraded to an apartment so very pleased as extra space & cooking facilities. Room was serviced daily. Quiet room with laundry facilities and parking close by. Enjoyed a dinner at Explorers bar, food very good. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Parking space availability. Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Totally Good

We were disappointed by our stay here. First off, they placed us (including a handicapped guest) in the back building that had stairs. The room was incredibly small and tight. The bathroom was small and hard to manuever in. Overall, it definitely needed a remodel and updates. Because we were not staying in the main lodge, we were unable to use the hot tub or pool or restaurants.

For the price paid this was terrible value
Room was extremely dated, small and had no cutlery crockery or glassware
No info re surrounding areas etc

Good hotel to explore lake Louise. The pool/ hot tubs are a great addition as well as the restaurant/s. Recommend staying here especially as there wasn't much else in Lake Louise.

The room was dated and small, the bed was uncomfortable and way over priced

Visiting Lake Louise for a one day stay. Checked in early, hiked the area and had a nice meal in the hotel restaurant before retiring for the evening. Used the hot tub, it was nice. Room was large and well accommodated. Bed was comfortable.

A decent hotel given the remoteness of the area with few options. Our hotel block appeared to be vintage and showing signs of age. Room was OK although heat did not work. Had to use space heater to keep room warm enough. # of outlets was limited - had to use what you could find (picture an extension cord with several devices plugged into it - including a space heater). But overall, it was an OK room. The dining was very good, and the staff was super friendly. Some of the other hotel blocks might have been newer and not as "vintage" as ours.

Online photos and amendments misleading as to conditions of rooms- expecting a more deluxe stay at price paid—- would not have stayed there

Lake Louise Inn is in a good location for an easy shuttle to the actual Lake and it's restaurant offerings are good. The staff were friendly. The actual room, which was supposed to have been an upgrade, was awful! It has an unpleasant mustiness to it, there were stains on the ceiling and no opening windows. We could not open our curtains as we faced the atrium with a restaurant opposite us. So had to have a light on. There is no AC which we had realised before booking but figured in October with low temps that wouldn't be a problem. Our room was very hot! I'd enquired at reception about no opening windows & the uncomfortable stuffiness of the room and was told to grab the fan out of the cupboard. I wouldn't stay again if we were in the area.

We wanted to stay closer to Lake Louise for the hike in the early morning next day.
The room has double beds but the size was very small which only suitable for one person.
Only one chair available in the room.
The bathroom has no fan and the ventilation in the room is terrible.
Overall was not a good stay but better than camping out in the cold.

Beautiful setting , we got a room up grade, the restaurant was great food especially the buffet breakfast. Comfortable and warm .

A very overpriced run down hotel. The room was very basic with old tatty furniture. Extremely noisy, and a room which was excessively hot and unable to control the heat. You pay half the cost in the UK and most probably get breakfast thrown in.
Wifi was none existent. Don't stay here

Beds comfortable, bathroom very small, staff friendly. Basic traveller hotel would not return. No bar

The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The room was clean and very well appointed. The on-site restaurants had nice dining areas and the food was good.

Nice, clean facility. Reception and housekeeping was good.

Nice lodge, conveniently located near Lake Louise, Lake Moraine and skiing. A bit pricey as there aren't many lodging places in the area. You could save and more option if you stay 30 mins up the road in Banff. Overall great stay, comfortable lodge if you’re in an upgraded room.

Nice quiet stay. Staff was nice and helpful.

I was astounded at the water damage on the bathroom door considering the class of this hotel. When the hotel is booked solid, eating at the restaurants on the property is challenging, i.e. hour plus waits. And, whilst waiting, there is no opportunity for cocktails. Missing a huge revenue opportunity!

After a long journey the hotel would not accommodate an early check in. Very poor facilities in the room. An very expenses hotel was not worth the money.

Wonderful place to stay! Clean. Convenient.

We were disappointed with our standard room at Lake Louise in. It was very basic, with no air conditioning, no microwave and no fridge. I was told some rooms do have fridges, but obviously the more expensive rooms. For the price you pay you would hope all rooms would include the basic items especially if you dont want to eat in the restaurant which is bacically your only option.

One night stay following a visit to Lake Louise lakeshore and the ski resort gondola. Pleasant experience all round. Place felt really welcoming. A pity it was just an overnight visit

Understaffed to handle crowds, restaurant was impossible, we had to wait 45 minutes from time we ordered the food, the bill took longer. Server said they were understaffed. Property needs upgrades. Practically, no WiFi. Will not stay here again.

Good restaurant
Close to highway and Lake Louise

Grear hotel. Electrical plugs bad on both sides of bed cord would just fall out. So could not use our CPAP machine.
6.0
Very basic accommodations, for $450 per night. There was no elevator, no AC, and very poor ventilation. Our room also faced toward the highway which tended to be noisy. Breakfast and dinner were good quality, although a bit pricey.

I hate this property… on the one hand this is crazy overpriced, on the other hand the standard room is like the cheappest motel room in a developing country, should be closed and fully refurbished

Good location.

Insufficient waitstaff in restaurants to provide timely service to customers. No offers to refill beverages both evenings of our stay.
Staff at reservation desk and housekeeping were excellent.

Stay went well but quite expensive when they charge you additional taxes/tourist rates on top of room rate, especially when you have also paid for a valid national park permit too for the length of time you are in the area.

Great view of the Canadian Rockies from our room

Cleanliness: 4/5
Service: 5/5
Comfort: 3/5
Noise: 3/5
Overall: Beds are a bit worn out as mine was pretty soft and saggy. There are only a few places to stay so I’d check out another if I were to come back.
The extended review...
Cleanliness: 4/5 - Clean towels and linens.
Service: 5/5 - Friendly service by all the staff.
Comfort: 3/5 - As mentioned above, my bed was bit worn out, soft, and saggy. I was able to use a pillow to solve for pain in my lower back.
Noise: 3/5 - Pretty thin walls as I could hear the people next to me who were laughing into the wee hours.

The location was great and the grounds were very nice and well kept. The rooms however, needed updating. While the furniture was real quality heavy wood, it was worn. The beds were sagging in the middle but the pillows were very nice and fluffy and I still slept well. Unfortunately, we could hear a lot of walking/stomping in the room above ours but at least it would quiet down at bedtime. It was just ok.Not sure if I would recommend.
