Property was great, but we came during off season and not much was open around the town.

Old School hotel, very high quality. Charming village of Assmannshausen.

This is a 600 year hotel! It has been renovated!
It was an adventure - do plan for some stairs unless you are in the main building that has an elevator. Staff was great. The breakfast is a wonderful full breakfast served in the dining room on china not plastic with real silverware.
The lift station to the mountain top is next to hotel - again a lot of steps to the lift. We highly recommend making this a stop. You will need to have a car to reach this hotel but driving the 42 on the Rhine is one big photo opp!

Everything is nice there except the people don't understand English well!

Nice hotel, but the tiny village was half shut, so Littleton do other than go to the nearest town. Also the wifi is super weak.

Great hotel with wonderful breakfast. Located where parking isn't the best but we managed to find a space and our car was safe for our 2 night stay. Close to train station and many places to eat.

the hotel was great ,staff were very helpful but and there is always a but, parking is limited.

The location was excellent, close to the Rhine boat launches at Assmannshausen. The lovely room with balcony and sleeping loft fit our group of 3 adults very nicely. It got pretty warm up in that loft, though, so a fan would have made it more comfortable.

Interesting hotel in several houses in a lovely village . Excellent buffet breakfast and a good restaurant with also a nice terrace. Our room was a bit dated specially the bathroom but everything work ,the other bedroom for 3 people was very nice (115 ).
The ladies at the reception were so helpful as well as the waiters in the restaurant. We would be back even if the WiFi was uncertain outside the main area.

Love this place! My second time to come and so glad I upgraded to the balcony suite. The view of the vineyards was amazing and the church bells on Sunday morning were such a blessing! Love the staff especially the sweet and helpful ladies of that wonderful breakfast...thanks!! I will be back!

Perfect hotel and location in a quaint area. We were on a motorcycle and the roads were perfect for riding and experiencing the sites.

No Internett om the room, the bell from the kirke close by every time. The waiters wasent service minded.

If you don't want the very touristy Rüdesheim and still get the best of the Rheingau valley region, stay in Assmannshausen. You get it all - wine, walking and bicycling. The Akzent Hotel is a few steps from the train station; bus stop for Rüdesheim at the hotel; has free parking and, it's right in the middle of town. Hotel rooms are bigger than usual for similar hotels. Service is very good and friendly. Good restaurant and better than usual breakfast for similar hotels.

Overall experience great, but if you need internet then you need to go to lobby area. It was fine, just not convenient all of the time. Not directly in rudesheim, in the town of asmannshausen. Can take the train into rudesheim for 2 euros each way. Breakfast was, great and included.

We had a great stay at the end of May. Hotel and town were really quiet, felt like we had the place to ourselves. East access to the chairlift and hike to nearby rudesheim. It was warm, and similar to other hotels - no air conditioning. Breakfast was great, we also had dinner at the hotel which was excellent. Close walking proximity to river boats and train station.
Would recommend.

It would be a nice hotel for a leisure visit of the Rhine region. Architecture style from the region, several 100 years old, however fully renovated with all modern facilities - without losing its charm.
Good breakfast and dining.

This is a gem! We would definitely recommend staying here. Not far from Frankfurt but far enough to get into the beautiful hilly countryside. Everything from the owner, to the room, to the dining was superb! Its in the heart of wine country and a drive along the river provides ample castle viewing! We were there in off season and hope to go back when things are in full swing... would love to take the gondola up the mountain and perhaps hop aboard one of the cruisers along the Rheine! Also take in the wonderful spa that was advertised which we had no time for. Absolutely lovely.

Stayed here on recomendation for one night as a stop over. Hotel was clean and comfortable, split level room had lovely view across vineyards and the staff very helpful and courteous.
