I received a room with a king bed.it had lots of room

This is one of the many hotels on this "hotel row", and had we known the conditions around the hotel we might have stayed elsewhere. The parking lot was clean and had a gate to lock the parking lot if needed (not sure if the did at night). The staff was friendly upon arrival. The room was easy to find and clean to an extent. I had two young children with me and I was hoping to use the pool to get their energy out after a long drive. We were told the pool was warm. When we arrived at the pool there were clumps of hair and other unit items floating in the pool. I cleaned them out with the skimmer myself and we went in to an ice cold pool. There was no warmth at all. When we went into the hot tub to warm up upon further inspected quickly got out. The hot tub looked like it had never been cleaned before. The tiles were covered in some sort of gross film. There were hair chunks all along the floor next to the pool and hot tub as well. Breakfast area was small, it accommodating. Limited options, but it worked for us. The ice machine was not working which was disappointing, however the had a water bottle filling station. All in all if you don't leave your room this hotel isn't horrible. If your looking for a quick cheap night this is your place.

Original stay through Hotels was great but when I extended one more night they gouge you with price increase. Not nice.

Clean, comfortable, standard breakfast

A nice hotel with a gated parking lot. The hot tub and pool were underwhelming as the hot tub was just warm and the water looked very murky. Breakfast was good with a couple of hot food options.

BE AWARE!; this hotel makes money from people who book it online!!!!! I booked it online based on photos available on Expedia. These photos were taken many years ago. The hotel is in terrible conditions and smells really bad. In our check in, the toilet had "remainders" and the sink and floor of the bathroom had toothpaste, at least, on eye sight. There were "suspicious" stains on the entry way flooring and the room's carpet had "missed" M&Ms here and there... I requested another room, which they denied as they did not have another room per front desk agent, as it was late and I had small kids with me, I asked for cleaning products and mop to clean up the entry way and bathroom, so my kids could use it safely. Believe it or not, they handed me over a bottle of a regular household cleaner, an Oxy Clean bathroom cleaner!!!!!! We passed one night there (I had booked 4 nights) and left the day after. We returned our keys (cards) and informed the front desk agent ( a white man, 60 , full gray hair) that we were leaving and we requested a refund. He said that as we booked with Expedia, only Expedia could refund us. I contacted Expedia for my refund, and the refund was denied according to them by hotel management. They also said we did not return the keys!!! They use bureaucracy and lies to make money from people who book online... If you want to enjoy your vacations without unpleasant surprises, avoid this hotel at all costs...

Terrible hotel, every piece of equipment in gym was broken, pool water dirty, drug addicts walking around in front, breakfast food served without care. Never again

Was in town for a funeral. Spent most of my waking hours with the family. Hotel served my purpose well.

The hotel and room were great. The breakfast was awful and ended too early

Needs serious updating. Food and coffee were bad.

Not many places of interest nearby and some shady characters on the streets

The toilet had a stain in the bottom. It didn’t bother us, but others it might. The area around the property doesn’t feel the safest, but the property is behind a gate at night so that helps. Overall I would stay here again for a quick one night stop.

The room was fairly clean, very quiet. The area has a large homeless presence.

Room was comfortable, clean, roomy and quiet. Felt safe.

The facilities were very nice, looked fairly new. I was a little put off by the person who checked us in and the person who checked us out. Seemed as though it was just a job. Still using plexiglass doesn't help. Probably a company policy. Facilities were very busy, didn't eat breakfast because of crowding.

They need to clean their rooms better. This area is filled with homeless people. Very sketchy.

Phone was broken, work night shift from 7pm to 7 am tried to extend check out manager on duty was an absolute shitbag

Clean room, good hot breakfast, decent indoor pool and indoor hot tub.

It was nice

It was a good hotel . Pretty clean . Nothing fancy or extravagant . My kids enjoyed the pool although there were some kids in there unsupervised which made it not enjoyable . The breakfast is alright . Nothing special but the breakfast area is way too small and The beds are kinda hard .

Great location for visiting Arcata and the northern coastal region. Friendly staff, clean environment and quiet and restful atmosphere. Breakfast was a nice way to start the day.

I like that theres a pool and hot tub could be hotter

This Comfort Inn was the best one I ever stayed in. The room was clean, everything worked fine, and the bed was good. Arcata is a nice safe little city, much more so than neighboring Eureka.

Bed was too hard and toilymade weird, loud noises when flushed. But everything else was great.

Good spot. The ratings should be better. Good hot breakfast. The staff were awesome. Very clean and house keeping was on it as far as cleanliness.
