No one at the front. Desk… they said they emailed me my password but didn’t find it. The room thermostat was off… the room was cold… finall the very good attendants Charlene came to our rescue. She brought us a space heater… there were only one power plug outlet… Charlene brought us a multi plug extension. TV doesn’t work… she tried and was not able to make it work !

First and new room were clean. Room code did not work for us, the person a head of us and the person after us. Room was not what i paid for. Desk guy was nice to move us to a sister property that was the right size but not where my daughter wanted location wise and both hotels have no elevator. Had to take suitcase up two flights of stairs and i have mobility issues.

No hair drier in the room. The check in process was not straight forward. I tried but could not figure it out.

Boutique hotel with a nice charm. Location is unbeatable, walking distance to rodeo drive and plenty of coffee shops. Staff is friendly and very helpful! The only issue was the shower setup of room, shower curtains not long enough causing them to get sucked in and stick to you as you shower, also water easily drips outside shower needing you to use towels to soak it up.

Great staff!
Good location but noisy at night and early morning.
Multiple irons did not work
Code did not work on checkin/ room was changed, minor inconvenience.
Good value

Great Location, nice design.

Awesome location right off Santa Monica Blvd. easy access by car or bus into Hollywood, Rodeo Drive or downtown. Room was very comfortable, albeit a little small for 2 adults and our luggage but it made us sort ourselves out early. No daily housekeeping, unless you pay but you can always get items that you run out of. Nua, the restaurant was always busy.
2.5
My rating is based partially on the price point. I did have the room next to the restaurant, so there was a certain amount of noice, but nothing too bad (and noise bothers me more than most. There was a white noise machine in the closet, so that did the trick. It took me a minute to realize that the AC was a window unit, and the view from the window was to a side walk where the restaurant guys were working, so I kept the curtains closed. I was there for work, so I didn't need a view.
What wowed me about the hotel and made it me new regular place to stay for work was the location and the bed. It is close to Rodeo Dr, tons of shops and restaurants, a Whole Foods, another grocery store and a Starbucks. I didn't have to Uber anywhere. The bed was clean, huge, supportive, and inviting. It was a great place to end the day. The bathroom did have the concrete finish, which made it hard to know how clean it was. It did appear to be clean overall, but I wear shower flip flops anyway.
Another huge plus was the staff. They were super friendly, I mean like they genuinely want everyone to enjoy their stay. There is also a restaurant on site, although I didn't have time to try it on this trip. It did seem to bee upper scale and looked delightful. Overall, this stay was better than any other hotels in the area, because the others that stand out for customer service are not in such a great location.

This a cozy hotel, though it needs refurbishing and there was a big difference of quality between the room that was presented on expedia/hotels.com (deluxe/spacious) that I payed for and the one I got. I talked to the manager and they approved a refund for the fare difference between room types. The room is nicely decorated, but the sound isolation is bad, the window frames are very old that need cleaning on the outside and you can hear the toilet flushing from neighbors, also the AC and the fridge are very noisy. The bed is quite comfortable but a bit hard and creaks. The shower is not very comfortable and it takes a while until the water gets warmer. Also the aspect of the walls in the shower is not very attractive as it is just concrete. Maybe other room categories are better, but these were not available at this location at my arrival and I preferred not to change location. All that said, the personnel at the front desk are welcoming and quick to assist. They listened to my complains and were aware about the issues with an old building. The hotel is otherwise cozy and nicely decorated indirect connection to restaurant managed separately with a terasse where you can have breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. The location is perfect in Beverly Hills with possibility to take the bus no 4 to different sites such as Santa Monica Pier, Sunset Bl, Hollywood Bl in case you wanna skip a car rental that also costs you parking. Overall,I liked my stay despite the afore mentioned issue

Great location, very affordable for location, street noise was very noisy in the early morning, I’d stay there again

Room was nice but we booked for 4 people and even though Sonder asked for arrival time to ensure the room was prepped there were no sheets to make up the sofa sleeper. We had to ask for sheets. There were only 2 sets of towels as well.

Stayed here in 2019 and loved it. This time around (fathers’s day weekend) our experience was not the same. For the price this place charges, you would expect some basic services, but that wasn’t available. Front desk folks for the most part were indifferent and talking to you like they are doing you a favor. There was only 1 helpful person. Rooms are outdated and in our room specifically toilet leaked extensively every time it was flashed. They did fix it pretty quickly though. Also, if you don’t mind the noise from the hotel restaurant and the outside, then this place is ok. Also, no room cleaning service, and you have to ask for towels etc. The only positive about this place was the location.

This property gave me the Hollywood feel.

Easy access. Simple. I did not see any elevators. It was not a problem for me but it could be for others.

Havent visited this property in almost 10 years during college and its almost the same. You cant beat the location and after coming back i really understand why the younger me liked this place. Only thing i didnt like was the window unit which i didnt remember but honestly it was more an esthetic issue than an actual one. Plus parking is ACROSS THE STREET. Nothing beats the convenience of this place. This will definitely be my hotel anytime i stay in LA.

In a really lovely locations and feels safe. The area is well taken care of.

The crescent was right next to rodeo drive which is in Beverly Hills. We found it to be very quiet and safe. All the reviews were bad so we were a little worried but we never had a problem with noise and the rooms were small but cute and all you needed. And you can’t beat the location! For the price it is a great deal/stay!

Replace head boards and foot boards. Remotes didn’t work for the Fan. I had to go downstairs to get batteries for the Roku remote. Nice size spiders came out in the bathroom. Shampoo and body wash pumps did not work.
But I would stay again. Little fixes.

Nothing works, busted key cards, broken TV, flickering lights and no staff to actually help resolve. Save your money on this scam

Didn't get the room we paid for. We booked a first floor king size bed room. We got an upstairs, queen size room. My mom had to go up several stairs with her cain, as her walker wasn't even possible and then share a queen size bed that overlooked a loud ally after having surgery. Staff was nice but couldn't accommodate us as the room we booked had someone in it already. Not even the TV worked properly. Staff was kind enough to get it working. Nothing but praise for their friendliness but skip this place if you are over 50. No elevator, loud, only ROKU tv (if it works) no phones, no tub, very small. No even a chair to sit in.

I was looking be for around beverly hills . It was a relatively cheap hotel in the area. So I didn't have high expectations, but it was very nice and clean. If I go to LA again I would like to stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at The Crescent. It was very easy to get in with the keypad. The area was lovely, walkable and comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for a quick weekend in LA.

Pros- Location was excellent. So close to walk to Rodeo Drive and surrounding district.
Cons- Dont get the room above the restaurant. Extremely noisy, in fact so noisy the room comes with complimentary ear plugs.

So pretty and cozy…..wish there was a light that can be used without having to get out of bed to turn off ….

The Crescent was better kept, and an actual hotel, before it was acquired by Sonder. I miss the staff and attention to cleanliness. The valet guys were honestly the best part of this stay — very welcoming and helpful. Also there was a problem with my thermostat that was never resolved. Great location though if you need to be in BH and stay affordably.
