This hotel provided a very clean room and very courteous staff. Not a single issue while we were staying there.

The room was good and it was clean. Staff extremely nice. My only thought is that this was a $100 a night room that they charged $270 for. It's over priced for what you get.

Stepped on glass getting out of the pool and woke up to the lady in the office banging on our door after we were a few minutes past check out. They did nothing for the piece of glass that went into my foot.

Check in was a breeze, the room was very clean, and the lady at the desk was so helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again next time we are in St. Augustine.

A lot of potential here. Price was the seller for me and why I booked here. The pictures on the app portrayed a way better kept property. Room was clean, but very out dated. There was a gentleman that slept in the room where the linen was kept and was awake watching his phone day and night. While he was polite, it was still very awkward. Good value, but definitely a lite strange.

The location was super convenient and the cost was affordable, and the travelodge provided what was hoped for and expected.

Genial

This property was pretty much a efficiency, other guests appeared to be more of residents than guests. Loud talking and constant walking by the doors and the smoking in the halls and sidewalks.

Original reservation was for a specific cottage. One that we stayed in a year or so ago and loved. We received a call from the hotel telling us we couldn't have the requested cottage due to a customer extending his stay. We Rescheduled for a different date and a different cottage with the understanding that if there were any changes we would get the original cottage requested. Now to the room we got. It had no closet (Had to use shower curtain rod in the bathroom to hang clothes), no dresser, so we had to live out of our suitcase. No iron/ironing board{which it claimed to have) so we dealt with wrinkles. No hairdryers. No coffee the first day(missing piece to the coffee maker was found on day 2 in a small drawer in the TV stand) Bathroom window, although somewhat frosted was transparent enough to see through and had no window curtain resulting in NO privacy!!!T Therefore my wife and I could not take showers. The hot water from the sink was luke warm at best. The room had quite a few nail holes throughout, including the Bathroom. The room needed New curtains , paint job, and bedding. The TV Remote kept coming apart just by laying it down. I had to reassemble it many times. On a more positive note the people there, especially the maintenance man that went out of his way to ensure a ;pleasant stay. As far as returning for a third visit is doubtful at of now.

We got the queen bed cottage. Ok it’s not a five star hotel, but a budget friendly motel. With that being said, it was good for the price. Lady at front desk very nice. No daily cleaning, but every morning left dirty towels and garbage on porch, came back to a bag of clean towels. Room could use some updating, fresh coat of paint and please put some hooks up for clothing or towels. Air conditioner needs to be cleaned ( I wiped down filter myself) it was ok in temp. It the middle of summer not sure. Did love the privacy of the cottage, it’s out back and Monday thru Thursday we were the only ones there and enjoyed it. Think there were guest in the main building but didn’t really see anyone. Coffee shop across Street made great coffee so that’s also a plus. My only other complaint is the horrible smell of the water, shower, sink and sprinklers. The sulfur smell is horrible. Maybe some type of filtration system needed. We understand it’s well water, but still hard to feel clean after using smelly water. Safe location, was close enough to everything.

recently stayed here. It met all expectations. The room was very spacious, the pool was clean, the staff was very friendly. We stayed in a very spacious 2 bed 1 bath on the property and will definitely be staying again when we come back in June. Great experience!

A hidden gem with a hidden gem. The hotel was lovely, but not at much as the owner. She was very wonderful and pleasant. I encourage people to stay here and enjoy yourselves. Walking distance to the downtown of the city and a short drive to the beach and outlet mall.

We just stayed four days and three nights and it was a great time. When I arrived the front desk was kind enough to not only give me a map of the city but had recommendations for the best attractions and places to eat. Looking at pictures of the cottages they offer online doesn’t do this place justice. The cottage we got was a 2 bd/1bth , it was so more spacious then what the pictures looked like and I was so grateful. I was surprised to find out when checking in our cottage came with its own private porch and that was so nice . We are a family with children and really appreciated being able to all sit outside and enjoy the coastal night air. I highly recommend if you’re a family on vacation definitely go for the 2/1 cottage . The location of the hotel is so convenient and we loved the fact we were in walking distance of two parks.

Check in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful with recommendations and ready to answer any questions we had. While the room was decently clean, the floor in the suite definitely needed a good sweep and mop as our socks were dirty from walking around inside. The beds were freshly made and the sheets seemed clean, however, there appeared to be rust stains on the sheets leading my kiddos to sleeping on top of the covers. All in all, a good experience with a short drive to downtown.

Horrible!! Nothing like pictures. Very deceiving listing. Not cute little cottages at all. Stains on linens. Filthy everything. Smelled terrible. Felt very unsafe with signs on doors saying to lock door behind you and don't open it for anybody. And don't leave valuables in room or on your vehicle. Awful parking situation. I refused to stay there and they refused to give money back for the other nights. I'm just out over 500 bucks but it's better than staying in that dump. I never leave bad reviews but this place was just so bad. Please don't waste your money. Find something else!

The lady at the front desk was very nice to us and suggested we use our bikes to go the the old city to visit as we would save time instead of spending time trying to find a parking spot. Excellent recommendation she made.

Service was amazing! the clerk was so nice and friendly! my only complaint (not really a complaint) is the air conditioner in the room didn’t work very well and I feel like there wasn’t any air flow. But the room was nice and clean, stocked with everything we needed. Loved that we had our own little private place to enjoy our night!

Had no offering of breakfast so didn't like that but location to historic area was excellent

I didn't like being awoken by extreme noise at 7AM...a new roof was being installed. no advance notice that this was happening, the owner claimed it was not under their control!

Overall, the property was okay. The room smelled a little musty but fortunately I brought candles with me. It was a nice size room and ultimately you get what you pay for. The best part about the place was its distance to downtown due to the traffic there it was nice to come sleep in the peaceful quiet.

One thing only. Put a clothes rack in room to hang clothes.

Great value for the price! Shikisha, at the front desk, was very friendly. The room had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, table & chairs. At least $100 cheaper than any other accommodations in the St. Augustine's Historic District. An Uber's ride under $10 was the perfect choice to enjoy the "Creepy Crawl Haunted Pub" tour (the best!) and great nightlife (no parking, no driving after having drinks, friendly drivers). Not as enjoyable as staying in a pricey bed & breakfast in the old town, but perfect for a comfortable stay before and after enjoying all the beauty of this oldest city of the USA.

This place is just an older run down place. It was clean, but the beds were very uncomfortable and small. We got a 2 queen bed room but the beds have to be full size and not queen. My husband and I barely fit and we have a queen at home. The walls could use some painting and our bathroom vanity was peeling away from the wall. So definitely needs to be updated. Pool is small, but clean and the people at the front office were very nice though.

Very quite place at the end of San Marcos. It is safe and quite. Our room was big and had everything that we needed. Very clean room. Notice that the water from bathroom sink had a odd smell. We stayed for 3 nights a did not got any house keeping in our room..

The lady at check in was incredibly polite. The room looks nothing like the pictures online. We were extremely dissatisfied. When we got back to our room to go to sleep, there were hairs all in our beds and it was very clear the sheets hadn’t been changed. The toilet was unclean as well. At 2am we had to go get sheets from the guy up front and change our own sheets before we could sleep.
