In the advertisement it said there was a gym, there was no gym present. Supposed to have an indoor heated pool the pool was not heated. My wife found a bug in her bed. There was only a less than half roll of toilet paper in the bathroom for four people.

No Coffee ! Not in the room , not in the lobby, not at the breakfast.
Someone in our group went to Dunkin Donuts an purchased a box of coffee.
We were there as a group of 8, 4 rooms .

The room and hotel itself were clean and looked new or newly remodeled. We liked that the sink was outside the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the room had everything we needed. We would stay here again without a thought.

It was the noisiest hotel stay we have ever had. When we checked in, someone was already complaining, but didn’t think much of it, until we experienced it ourselves! It was the employees making all of the noise! We left a day early! Couldn’t handle it!😡

They went into my room when I had placed I had placed the privacy sign on the door handle!! They didn't have any hangers, they only could give me 2 when i asked for them, although i need to hang my suit, shirt and my wife's dress. There wasnt a toilet roll holder and only gave you 2 amaller than standard body towels along with 2 smaller ones and one for the floor, enough for one day, I took some off the cart and they went into my room without permission and took them back!

When we walked into the hotel, the check in clerk was playing on his phone; he didn’t see us come in and we stood there, for 2 minutes, just looking at him, before my husband finally said something to alert him that we were there. When I walked up to the desk, someone’s check in signature sheet was sitting on the counter. It had that guests name and address and other personal information typed on it. I asked the clerk why he had left someone’s private information, in plain view, on the counter and proceeded to tell him that it shouldn’t have been left out like that. He kind of mumbled some sort of response and didn’t say much else.
Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However almost all the pillows had broken zippers and the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed. The paint was peeling off the wall next to the bathtub. The breakfast was minimal; just waffles and croissants. Not a good continental breakfast. We won’t stay again.

Hotel is nice for a quick overnight trip. Room was clean, although a dirty towel was left in the bathroom. Biggest disappointment was the continental breakfast. Wasn’t expecting a breakfast buffet, but the few offerings were stale. English muffin was more like a hockey puck. Seemed they might be understaffed . Desk person was also trying to maintain the breakfast area. She was running herself ragged.

Was traveling with my kiddos. We stayed a couple nights and staff was super friendly and helpful.

The place needed maintenance badly. No Smoke Detector. Bugs, no Soap, No toilet paper holder. The place is a dump. Do not stay there. Stay somewhere else.

The room was nice enough. Floor was dirty and no carpeting. Used hair dryer and roach landed on me. Hair dryer was the kind that should be hung on the wall. So it was awkward using it as the plug with the wall piece didn’t reach anywhere for it to lay on a surface. Wash rag was left on the shower head so wondered if shower had been cleaned. Our door wouldn’t lock at all and the key card wasn’t needed to enter the room. The front desk person in charge wasn’t concerned about it. Insisted on a new room with a working lock. Location was great. But we will never stay here again.

I appeared when I made the reservation that they had good reviews, and it looked clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, this was not the case. They placed us in a room immediately adjacent to the exit on the first floor. They said that there was no access without a key card. This was not true. They had the door lock blocked with duct tape so that anybody, guest or otherwise, could access the hallways leading to the rooms. There was traffic and noise in and out all night long. We chose to check out the next day, and they wouldn't give us a refund. They advertised the room as two QUEEN beds. They were doubles. What? Do they think people are stupid? We had to ask for soap and towels and would have had to ask for bed linens if we hadn't checked out. I'm contacting the booking agent to see about a refund. If we don't get one, there are going to be EXTENSIVE bad reviews.

Asked for a refund within 30 minutes after I got into the room and noticed instead of a smoke detector on the wall there was only wires where it should be. Additionally there were stains on the pillow cases and damage in the bathroom. I initially was told I’d get a refund but was told on my way out the door that I would not be getting a refund because I had booked the room using Expedia. Total time at this hotel was about an hour before driving to another hotel for the night.

We stayed in this same property a year ago, and what nice changes we found when we arrived this last weekend!
The management said that there are more changes are coming, and we look forward to going back to seem them!

Could not get the tv remote to work even after going to the front desk. It would work for one volume change and nothing for 30 or 40 minutes. Fresh batteries did nothing to help. Breakfast could use a little more selection.

Great Staff!
8.0 / 10.0
Hot breakfast was a hot waffle or some microwaved oatmeal...no eggs or meat. TV streaming settings had to be reset by staff.
6.0 / 10.0
Parking limited due to handicap spots and e-card charging. Clerk has to manage desk, set up continental breakfast, free breakfast and take care of trash, give out towels… too much for one person!

The room on first glance was clean until we realized towels from prior guests were hung on door in bath

Property has just reopened as Clarion Pointe. We have stayed here a few times under different brands. It was best as Holiday Inn Express. It has definitely gone downhill. Elevator was broken. Shower head was nasty. Room smelled. Front desk people were nice. Breakfast looked skimpy so we ate at a restaurant instead. This place will do in a pinch but definitely not a top pick. Location is good though.

I was trying to go to sleep, and then we saw a cockroach on the nightstand. The room smelled like fast food. Other than those things, it was decent stay. I was only there a few hours between flights. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The air in our room was very bad. All the clothes were damp when we woke up in the morning. The pool was cold but the kids loved it. The breakfast was poor but ok. The beds where comfortable.
The staff where all very friendly.

This property was not ready to be open. Room was not finished. No smoke detector. Only one chair. Toilet paper on floor. Only one set of towels, no one to bring any more. Security doors taped so it could not lock. Surrounding area dirty. Parking area dirty/landscaping was a total wreck, not kept up at all.

The hotel was undergoing a sale and change of management over 4th of July weekend 2024 (so I was told). There were numerous glitches with multiple visitors rooms while I was in line to check in including rooms being rented and those rooms already having people inside and reservations requiring handicap access rooms not being available. My personal experience included the door of my first room not locking except from the inside with the deadbolt. I had them change my room and the next one was fine. There were small things with maintenance like broken toilet paper holders and work being done in the lobby. Over all, the rooms were clean and the desk staff was okay although they seemed to wander about a bit and leave the desk unattended. There is a small indoor pool that was clean, and the breakfast was you typical continental fare. Not a bad place, but not your typical Clarion experience either. Good location on 441 in Dillard.

This hotel was advertised as being recently renovated, it truly was and very nice. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. However, there were 2 issues that were of concern. First, when we first stopped by to check in, there was no one at the front desk and after 5 minutes or so of ringing the bell with no response we chose to come back later. At that point the lady at the desk was very nice and helpful.
The second issue was a much bigger concern. The cloth shower curtain did not keep the water in the tub, and when I exited, the floor was wet and very slippery, causing me to nearly fall despite the towel type bath mat. Even more concerning is that this was a handicap room and I'm sure that had I been a disable individual, I would have had a serious fall.
I had intended to share this with the front desk when we checked out, but once again there was no one at the front desk.
All of that being said, nice hotels with a reasonable price in the Dillard area are hard to find, and so far this has been the best for the money that we've found. We will most likely stay there again on our next visit to the area.

Newly remodeled. The bed was super soft. You can tell that they really fixed this hotel up recently for the change in management.

I didn't like that I went to bed at 9:00 pm and there was a party right outside my window. I let it go for awhile thinking It would stop. It did not. I called the front desk and asked them to turn the music off. They turned it down and as soon as the night manager left they turned it back up. I went out and spoke to them myself at 11:00pm and they told me where I could go. The party continued until 1:00 am right outside my window and no one did anything to stop it. I finally got to sleep around 1:30 am, and had to be up at 5:00am for work. I can understand the night employee not pushing the issue as she is an elderly lady and very nice. Someone should instruct her to call the police next time this happens. Was a horrible experience. I hope this is not a recurring problem.

The views were great but convenient was the major benefit to being there

Nice property and good location. Room was clean & comfortable. Noisy outside. Horribly understaffed- waited over 15 minutes at front desk before some showed up. Virtually nothing for “breakfast” even before 8 AM. I’d hate to see it when the Smokies high season arrives in summer and fall.

We have stayed here multiple times and never had a problem till this time. We was told before deciding to stay there that the pool would be a warm 80 degrees it was freezing cold! The lady at the desk Saturday morning tried to fix it told us to give it till later on and it would be warm. It wasn't and the next lady was rude and snobby. Our room had a nail sticking up in the floor. The outside smelled like gas and when we left the whole top floor smelled like a sewer. These are not horrible things but compared to what it has been it was bad.

The staff was very kind and helpful! My grandmother is in a nursing home nearby and in bad shape, plus I have 2 toddlers. The staff really accommodated me. The hotel is under a lot of construction currently, but the noise stopped around 6pm - which I was thankful for. My only complaint was it seems they need some more staff up there to give some of the other employees a break

Heated pool was not heated. Cold inside. Bathroom toliet
sits sideways. No soap in room for shower or to wash hands Hotel was hard to find because it sits atop a hill and we did not see a sign. Using gps, we drove by it and had to come back. Night person was very nice and helpful.

My husband booked this stay for us to get away for my birthday. It was advertised with good reviews and functioning wifi. Upon arriving to our room, which they said was recently completed and no one else had stayed in, there was construction dust on doors and the AC unit. One of the walls did not have an electrical cover, and we had to get someone to come in and install a shower rod and curtain as they forgot that detail, so they literally did construction while we were in our room. Every other room was being reconstructed, so not only was there no WiFi, but there was constant loud construction noises. The construction crew was also staying at the hotel, and kept us up until 2am as they were stomping around and making noise above us. This property should not have been open for anyone to stay at, and should have been closed for reconstruction. We left exhausted and could not even speak to the front desk as we checked out as construction noises were so loud. Will not be staying here again.
