Was disappointed when there was no pool. They had a safety hazard in our room and had a 2x4 sticking out from the bed. 2 of us got hurry after hitting it with our leg because you couldn't see it sticking out under the bedding. My 73 yr old mother almost fell after hitting the board.

Bed bug bites in the two rooms we stayed in. 9 welts on head and neck, 33 on arms, 30 on legs, but and back. Never experienced anything like that before.

Hôtel was under construction, was not posted on any sites saying so. Pool was empty. Tv did not work. Could hear next door. It cost $200 for one night. This type of hotel should be condemned.

Property is under renovation .pool and spa were empty and not as advertised. Bed was cheap and uncomfortable with a topper. No sound barrier between 1st and second floor, so awake many times in the night as upstairs people walked. Coke and water machine out of order. Etc etc. Maybe next year it will be ready

Couch was falling apart, leaving black flakes all over the room. Hide-a-bed unsupportive, Our 9 year old was sleeping with feet above his head. Had to sleep on the floor. Fridge did not work, never got below room temp. There was no pool or hot tub even though it was advertised that there was a pool and hot tub.

In the expedia listing it says pool and hot tub is included but, on the way to the room there is a sign that says pool/hot tub permanently closed. When turning the TV on.. it was just static but when you call down for help they tell you to push the channel button a few times and you will see channels and that did work. In the room it says you have about 50 channels but in reality there is 12. Also.. if you leave the TV on for more than 20 min the volume would quit working then you have to unplug the TV and plug it back in to get it to work for another 20 min before having to do it all over again. I know it wasn't just our TV because the people down the hall from us had the same problems with both of their rooms. Our window was cracked but we had to open it because the air did not work the best. The parking lot at night is a big party with people drinking and really loud music and the next morning the vehicles are all gone, so i am not sure if they were even staying at the hotel or not. The side door to the hotel is left open 24/7 and there was a bat inside of the hall and the staff did not care at all. The complimentary breakfast is a waffle maker. Unfortunately for us this was a last minute trip and there was a really big car show going on that we did not know about so this was one of the more affordable options because the rest were $500 in the area for that weekend and we stayed for a few nights.. so this review is not off just one night.

I will never stay at this property again. The toilet seat was broken. The heat was on and our room did not cool off until 4:30 am. The staff barely spoke English. It was rundown and not well taken care of. The back entrance door was propped open with a rock and there was a bat flying in the stairwell that another guest was trying to capture to take outside.

The manage of this hotel screams at his employees. The people living there on the second floor stomped on our ceiling at all hours of the night and took our friend’s chairs more than once The pool and hot tub permanently closed. No smoke detector. Hair dryer was a fire hazard. Air conditioner froze up more than once and had to be turned off to thaw. Even the coffee is nothing more than unflavored brown water. We paid a ton of money to stay here during the rally.

The hotel wasn’t as advertised so we didn’t even get to stay there. I got a room for six and the rooms do not sleep sick. They advertise pool and hot tub and they did not have either.

When i arrived, a sign at the desk said pool and hot tub were permanently closed. I complained as i had 2 grand kids that were looking forward to swimming. She canceled my reservation, said i had to call the booki g agent which was impossible. Hopefully I won't be paying since there was false advertising.

This property post pictures of having a pool & it’s empty ! No running pool and sign at the door that easily missed. Their customer service desk was sketchy and their staff wasn’t helpful. We did demand a refund as this is poor advertisement.

The "suite" was filthy and smelled terrible. I doubt it had been vacuumed in a month. The bathroom was absolutely gross and moldy. The suite was just two rooms, one with beds and one with two chairs and a tv- no couch. I asked for a roll away and they did not have one or a couch in the room. I would never have paid extra for a "suite" if I knew there was no couch or pull out. The staff was just a step above rude. The pool was closed permanently (which was not advertised) and that was one of the main reasons I booked there.

There were missing light covers in room - hotel was advertised as having a pool and hot tub but when we arrived there was a sign saying both were permanently closed. There was some kind of crust or very old dried soap in bath tub

In our room hole patched but not painted, television did not work cable box pulled out of the wall, smoke dry had trash over it in ceiling. Shower for someone 4 ft tall, breakfast was non existent only rolls and cereal, noisy!!! Heard people arguing till 2 am

We arrive and there is a sign on the door that the hot tub and pool are closed permanently. this should be advertised as such when making online reservations, we would not have chosen this hotel had it been properly advertised. we were the only vehicle in the parking lot when we go there to check in at 3:30PM and had to wait an hour for the second room to be cleaned. On day 3 and upon checking out, we found out one of the rooms had a window that slides open with no lock or screen, we even tested it from the outside. Anyone could have gotten into that room at any time. Not to mention what appeared to be a transaction between a construction worker and a "working woman" right in front of us. we will not stay at this hotel again.

Wyndom and expedia both showed 4 available suites on their sites after we booked our suite. We paid and when we arrived at the property the girl at the desk put us in a regular room. We asked for our suite and we recieved attitude and were told that there are no suites at that location. We told the lady at the desk we wanted a refund on the price difference as the price of the suites are more than the regular rooms. She told us we didn't know what we were talking about and that they weren't priced differently. We asked to speak to the manager, but were told he was unavailable because he was traveling. We again asked for the room we paid for but were given more snotty attitude. The girl said she could refund our money and then changed her response to, she could cancel our reservation. She sent us an email cancelling our reservation but the funds were not returned to the account. This hotel is falsely advertising, and when customers ask for what they paid for, they are treated poorly. Also there was no water in the pool or jacuzzi. This is an blatant scam and there were only 2 other cars in the parking lot. Obviously others have gotten the memo that this place is a scam and NOT somewhere you should book a room STAY AWAY!!

It took them two days to fix it. I noticed it after I had unpacked so I didn’t feel like repacking and moving to another room. I was exhausted from traveling. I was told it would be fixed the next morning but it didn’t happen. I had to remind the twice. Ugh!! The pool & hot tub are permanently closed which wasn’t on the ad. Not impressed

The room smelled, towels had stains in them, couldn't get shower to have hot water. No one at front desk and had to look for someone to get checked in, poolwas not in working order and no water in pool. It was advertised as having a pool. Very very disappointed and the amount of money i spent for the 2 nights was disappointing. Should get some kind of refund. I will never stay at a Baymont hotel again. Please find away to refund at least part of my money. Thank You. Maureen Frost

Beds were terrible. Room was dusty. Haven’t cleaned behind nightstand in a long time. Haven’t washed the bed skirts in a while. Was trash under the mattress. Shower had some sort of funky hard water/soap buildup. Shower head height is for shorter people. I’m 5’7” and had to duck to use the shower head. Advertised as a suite and it was just a regular room.

This property needs a lot of love. Plumbing was barely functional. The light switch in the bathroom didn't work. We tried to open a window because it smelled stale, but I was afraid the window would fall out of the wall.

Check-in was fine. However the parking lot was very tight, pool was permanently closed, breakfast was the worst breakfast we've ever had during an overnight stay, and check-out was not to be desired. There wasn't one single employee around to check out and that was me standing there for nearly 5 minutes. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The room wasn't bad, we were disappointed in the fact that you have to ask for housekeeping and out of the 6 night stay we only received housekeeping 1 time. We had to ask for clean towels every evening. Our bedding was never changed the whole time we were there. Our trash was taken out 1 time the whole time we were there. The pillows are extremely hard and uncomfortable. There isn't a microwave in the room. When we asked for towels 1 evening the young women at the desk told me she would bring me some towels to the room but never did. The gentleman who worked the late night shift was wonderful, he gave me towels and apologized for our room not being serviced and he left a note for the next day shift reminding them. They never serviced our room again. For the price we paid for the room all we actually needed was clean towels daily and clean linen once during our stay. The pool was out of service also.
