TLDR: place is in poor condition and is a gamble. Spend the extra 20 a night for a nicer place if you can afford to. BB beware.
So! Staff was overly helpful, I do not place this review on them. The first room I was offered was filthy. Double bed on first floor. Dirt was around the entire room and around night stand. The kind where if you have ever replaced your flooring and not done the trim in a timely matter you see what kind of dirt/dust home has. Plainly seen stains, water marking on the floor. AC unit smelled of mildew/mold and upon checking, yes might as well have been my old garage fridge. That’s how bad it looked.
After asking myself if I wanted to be that kind of guy, I shortly made my way back up to the front and asked kindly if she would move me to another room. Which she placed me in a single bed unit, first floor. This room smelled a whole lot better, and actually looked as if it was cleaned. Bed was barely comfortable to be honest, but everything else seemed to be in order. Minor scuffs, marks, nothing crazy.
Is that where you thought this ended? No. So let me preface this, if you’ve traveled, and dealt with BB, you know. Unfortunately, and humiliating I know. There are not mosquitoes in December in this part of the US. First night, surprising nothing. Second night a couple marks on my leg. Last night, a small trail on my mid section. Yeah. your mileage may vary, but if you can avoid this place.

Overall, nice place to stay for a few days. Particularly liked the views from my window. Of course whenever you stay at a hotel, there's a chance of hearing other guests as they move about, so be prepared if you must have absolute silence at bedtime. :)

Good. One drawer kept popping open on its' own. Slow bathtub drain. Overall stay very good.

Staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable, the there was a recliner in our room and the arm rest was barely attached. Other than that we would stay again

Room smelled musty and like body odor. Microwave was dirty and food splattered inside. Knob on bathroom sink was extremely hard to pull to get water on. Bathtub was stained and should be replaced. The room definitely needs an upgrade. We overheard a woman checking out who said that the motel was the dirtiest place she has ever stayed at. We’ve seen worse places but was very disappointed with our lodging. Unfortunately with the Penn State football game going on there were slim pickings on rooms in our price range. Only positive thing I can say is the staff was nice. Would not recommend others to stay there.

This hotel has an early 80s motel vibe. It really needs to be updated. My room smelled of old house/cigarette smoke and needed to be dusted. Furniture and lamps were very old. My room hadn’t been dusted and food from the previous guests was left in the room fridge.

Hotel offered basic comfort and amenities and was in relatively poor condition. Had to change rooms after check-in due to excessive smoking smells in original room. Very quiet and comfortable beds offset poor condition of bathroom which could have used a heavy duty scrub in the shower.

It started out ok. Hotel kind of smells like food and cigarette smoke...but we did not see anyone smoking in the property. I'm sure they step outside but when the majority of clientele are out of area workers that are staying long term the smell of food and smoke was kind of expected.
Our next experience was the handicapped room on the first floor where the air conditioner didn't work. The girl on duty did all she could to make it work but in the end she had to give us a room on the second floor.
My husband has bad knees due to problems with the surgery he had. But the stairs weren't that high up so we made it only to find our key cards wouldn't work. Back down we go. The girl was again so nice and apologized profusely. She gave us another card and once again it didn't work. This 3rd time she went up the stairs herself and hurrah they worked!! She was a delight and did everything in her power to help us. Mostly it was the smell that got me.

The staff was great, but the hotel was dirty and it was loud.

Booked a queen bed for 2 nights, 7 months in advance and was told they only had one available for first night. Wound up with 2 double beds. Not happy about that. Didn't have anything to drink for breakfast other than coffee on Sunday morning. Very limited selection for someone on a diet....all selections were high carb.

There was urine in the toilet from the previous guest and there was a giant mold colony growing from the carpet by the head of the bed. The whole room stunk of mold.

For the $193 a night price, was definitely not worth it. Waffles only thing hot for breakfast. “Gym” was an elliptical and running pad that did not work in the middle of the laundry room. Room had stains of comforter, as well as cigarette smoke smell. Bathroom towels smelled like cigarette smoke. At check in, worker was clearly intoxicated. Very disappointed for the price I paid.

They were a lot issues with the cleaning up for example: smell in the room, carpet was dirty, bathroom smell mould and rats running around.

I stayed at this hotel, and I wish I hadn't. I had stayed on the first floor, and how about this? The shower was broken, and all night someone kept going in and out of the door, slamming it. I got no sleep, and to top it off, I had bed begs. I had called the front desk about the noise, and my heater would not stay on. I usually keep the heater on consistently; that way I can sleep, and the front desk lady tells me to turn it down, which is basically cold for it to stay on, but I can't do that because I am anemic and I get sick easily. I had stayed up all night adjusting the dang thing. But the worst was the bedbugs. I pray that no one books at this hotel. It was a nightmare, and this was my first day to stay there. I will never again beware.

Peeling plaster and bugs in the bathroom. Clean sheets but nasty bad linens

Eveything was just ok - it was a lot of money for what it was honestly. This is a $100 hotel - not a $140 one. We got in late and wanted to watch the news after driving all day and the TVs in 2 different rooms didn’t work. We ended up having to use our own apple tv we travel with. Overall dexent, but we stay at a lot of motels when our band is on the road, And We’ve stayed in better for less… I like the fact that they don’t rent to locals so there weren’t a bunch of crackheads hanging around.

Staff was friendly, service excellent. Only problem was the light in the rest room took many attempts to light fully, and 2 if the 4 in-room lamps didn't turn on.

The room was not in the best shape. Rug was stained with burn holes from the cigarettes the shower stall was filthy with the drain plug not attached and the bathroom smelled like a sewer. And the battery in the smoke detector started to beep right after I feel asleep. I stayed here twelve years ago and I will not go there again.

Very nice hotel conveniently located. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and check in/out was easy.

Nice room, very spacious. Bed was comfortable.

At check-in, staff was somewhat surly and stand-offish. Staff at check-out were much friendlier. Beds were small and uncomfortable. Breakfast was sparse. Waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, muffins.

Very dirty and unsafe

The room was fine. Basic low budget hotel room. Clean. Had a bed, TV, bathroom and 2 small chairs. The fridge actually froze the water we put in it. We were on the first floor with a beautiful view of a dirt hill and the parking lot, but it served our purposes. Most of the time we were there we had our eyes closed.

The bathroom I had was not very clean. There were soap bottles from the previous guest in the shower. I did notice a lot of hair on the floor that was not mine in the bathroom.
I had never previously bought any self-protection, but did decide to immediately go find pepper spray.
The staff were very kind and friendly.

Typical basic Super 8. Front desk was helpful at quickly getimg a new cable box for our t.v. The 2 beds room was spacious. The bathroom shower rod was missing screws and, therefore, hanging on a downward slant so that the shower curtain would not stay closed. The tub drain would not stay open.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms and furniture were very outdated and the room smelled like smoke.
The reception area had a mild smell of urine.

Staff went above and beyond to help with my situation! They didn't have to do what they did for me but they definitely did it and for that I'm greatly appreciative ,their kindness does not go unnoticed! Good-hearted people quiet place to stay people that actually care and take pride in their job. Thank you very much I appreciate you

Our bathroom wasn’t very clean, especially the bathtub. But what really bothered me was the lovely cockroach I found. I understand that this can happen but it’s disgusting. We left immediately after very quickly grabbing our things.
