Broken spa and pool

Hotel staff contact was minimal but enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent! The breakfast meal attendant was also very helpful and outstanding. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The one and only frustration was the COLD pool and COLD inoperable hot tub. After a long day of travel we looked forward to the tub and pool. We checked in and front desk explained the location for breakfast and pool/hot tub location. Nothing was said that they were not working. We jumped in our suits and went to the pool and tub. EXTREMELY frustrated that they where both ice cold and hot tub inoperative.

Generally we got what we expected. It included breakfast and a pool which our kids loved. We had one problem, when the A/C would cycle off, there would be a loud dripping/thumping sound, much too loud to be just a drip. We could not sleep with this going on. It was room 214.

I have only one complaint and that is that the furniture in the room seemed old and worn. Otherwise, it met all my expectations and then some. They have the largest breakfast selection Ive ever seen, rooms come with mini fridge and microwave (another rarity), the pool was open 24 hours for adults, staff were incredibly friendly, and they were the only hotel in newport to offer a room that had the bed in a seperate bedroom with a closable door (helpful when you have someone who snores loudly). Oh and also being 3 minutes from the Aquarium was awesome. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our room was beautiful and clean. Had all the amenities plus a juccuzi tub in our room. It was exactly what we wanted and we will definitely be doing it again. Breakfast was great as well

I am a grandmother traveling alone with an autistic child. The desk staff immediately saw this and bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we need. He was so kind and caring!

We booked this stay for the hot tub. I have a medical condition that the hot tub helps with. I called and was told hot tub works, so paid a extra 120.00 dollars only to be told hot tubs not working, it is a amenity you dont pay for amenities. I beg your pardon you most certainly do pay extra for amenities. Also children running and laughing in the hallways notified front desk. Nothing done about it. Screaming kids in pool in hallways and at breakfast. The girl working the breakfast did a good job restocking and cleaning so we did tip her. Will not be back if thats how you treat customers. Front desk offered to ca cel our reservation on a prepaid non refundable room, on a holiday weekend, but we had to decline since all the hotels around where no vacancy.

Great location and staff. Just jump on the bridge and you have access to everything in Newport. It is one of those places where they constantly put stuff out in the lobby for visitors and they really do a good job with breakfast. Clean, quiet rooms with good AC and blackout blinds. It’s a win.

Overall great experience, but our suite had a strong stench of mildew. Also, the elevator was a bit worrisome as it screeches and knocks against something going from the 1st and 2nd floor. The area seems safe and staff was very friendly and helpful, but the rooms are overpriced for the level of quality.

Super noisy late into the night and property not in great condition. Strong cleaning smell. Paid for early check in and confirmed it but wasn’t ready. Slow check in process.

Front desk service was great, but there was no housekeeping at all and on the last day of check-out, 2 housekeepers tried to knock on and open our door well before the 1100am check out time- one even opened the door after just a few knocks.

At first I was a little Leary of our stay because we got there early and asked if we could check in with our reservation and the lady at the front desk said no I asked what’s the earliest I might check in we had been driving all morning she said probably not till after 3. She didn’t look at anything didn’t ask my name nothing! I was furious. We came back at 3:30 and thank goodness the gentleman that helped us was amazing. The rest of the stay was awesome.

It was a fairly nice hotel, kinda disorganized, we were there for a week asked every day for a room clean and it only happened the night before we left.

Now the lady at the breakfast counter is amazing! Better service than any I've been to! She goes out of her way to make sure you get what you need and keeps it spotless. She was 5 star service!

Could have used some maintenance, and the elevator sounds like it was going to break at any moment, and didn't have an inspection certificate anywhere that I could see.

The property was attached to the Red Bear River Hot Springs, which we enjoyed greatly. We also enjoyed the in-suite hot tub.

Had to wait 5 minutes to check in because there was no one at the front desk. Had to wait 10 minutes to check out in the morning at 8 am. How is this an optional service? This is the face of your business!
Facility isn't great - a bit tired and run down. Half painted trim, toilet didn't flush well. Wifi signal was weak. We were on the 1st floor near the lobby and only had 2 out of 3 wifi signal bars.
Ample parking available and the best part was the decent included breakfast.
For the price I was expecting better. Would not recommend
