The hotel wes very well placed...close to many attractions. Rooms were clean and very large. Service was prompt and courteous and good breakfast.

The kitchen in the suite was not properly equipped. No cutlery or crockery. The cleanliness was mediocre, bugs on the window sills and the carpets in the suite and the hall ways could do with a good scrub.

A perfect stay. My only comment is the door is tricky to open. They clean the room very well each day without being asked. Beds are clean and comfortable. Rooms are huge. Great to have a second room for our teenager.

Very nice hotel, friendly and very helpful staff. Very good central location, where you easily can visit all the interesting places in Berlin by walking or via the U-bahn station 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms are quet, spacey and in a modern light design. One of the best hotels we have been to.

Excellent hotel in a very convenient location. Breakfasts were fine, too. I had a larger than usual room, and the only thing I didn't like (besides the fixed bottles of soap which frequently don't work) was the location of the toilet. The sink and shower are next to the bedroom, but the toilet is down the hall around 20 feet. Very odd. I'd rather travel for a shower! My room was on a tiny park which was very pleasant. Berlin is very easy to get around and I felt perfectly safe in this neighborhood.

Hotel room was HUGE for a European room. Had separate toilet room vs. shower, which was convenient for 3 adults staying in the room. Had separate sleeper-sofa for our daughter, and even with that open, there was a lot of room. Had small balcony to inner courtyard which was nice. Easy 5 minute walk to Checkpoint Charlie, and access to Metro, etc.

Great hotel. Very friendly staff. Great location to lots of great spots to see. Room was very very spacious for 3 people. Beds were comfortable. But the AC was non-existent and we had to sleep with the windows open for us to be cool enough while we slept. Would def stay here again! And the price was the best part.

Broadly I thought this was pretty good. In terms of location , Berlin is a big city so it depends where you want to go but this is pretty close to checkpoint Charlie (obviously as per the name!) , Brandenburg gate and has good transport links. My room was tidy and well maintained including the bathroom. My only slight gripe was I ended up needing to pay for breakfast and I thought that was overpriced and the cooked element wasn't particularly warm.

I was given a room on the eighth floor, but the elevator only went up to the seventh floor, so I had to use the stairs with my heavy suitcase. Be careful with the floor number !

Cozy hotel. Staff is very helpful and professional. Room is quiet good for three adults. Breakfast is very good. Ample choice of food. Even gluten free bread is available. One of us had an early flight and they provided breakfast to go for him. All this plus 450 meters to nearest metro.
