Check in was a breeze, but the room had a lot to be desired. Nasty looking dirty chairs, decided not to put any of my stuff on anything but hanging or on the table. The pillows looked like they had been cut in half they were so short, but the bed was ok comfortable. Someone tried walking in to our room at one point and only the safety latch kept them out. The elevator inspection was 1.5 years expired which did not install confidence in it. The breakfast was orange juice, coffee and waffles so if your expecting a selection you will be disappointed but since I was not expecting a breakfast it was just kind of funny to see. The area is kind of run down with a lot of people (homeless or druggies is an unknown) cruising around so going for a walk would not be advised. In short I will not be staying here again. Price was descent though.

Very poor cleanliness bathrooms are dirty still had dirt hair from the person before shower was dirty. Makes you think of the bedsheets and blankets and pillows are clean. The maids need to do a better job on cleaning the rooms and the owner needs to do a better job. Supervising to make sure that the rooms are cleaned.

I stayed one night in this hotel with my husband and two children. On entrance front desk treated very well. We checked in around 7:30pm or 8:00pm.as we enter into the hotel it was fully smelled with smoke smell from ground floor to 2nd floor. As we enter into room that was looking clean but still smock smell everywhere but we still stay because we already paid and at that time we don’t want to find other hotels just for night stay . There was only one very small garbage can only in the bathroom nothing in the kitchen area or on the bed side or in living haul no doubt room space was really good in two king size suit room . Next on the beds the housekeeper staff used the blankets with really holes which shows burn with smoke and television remote was also missing buttons so was not able to turn on television and in breakfast area the provider tea ,coffee, juice (for eating only apple and pancakes mixture for self made ) but no other breads or nothing in cereals for kids . Breakfast was not as good as the charge for one night stayed. I will no recommend to smoke free people .

Staff stated the pool gate would not open and she did not know what to do, we looked over the fence, pool was green with algae.
We packed up and left within an hour.
Run down, does not look like the internet pictures.

Upon looking for any hotel in Oroville, I was pleased to see this one had a pool for my grand children. When I arrived and first thing, asked about said pool and the response I was given was “the pool is greener than any grass we’ve never had” the price in my stay includes pool, amenities and such. NOT happy

Unfortunately, I traveled alone and was put across from a room that had had tear gas used 10 days earlier. The windows and locks were boarded up or removed. Needless to say, I felt unsafe. Upon entering my room, the floors were sticky, carpet dirty, bedspread obviously filthy, sheets stained, Limited towels that were thin with holes. Looked for a phone in room to call front desk and they no longer provide them.
I booked 3 nights, stayed 2 as the 2nd night was woke at 2:00 am with loud people in the hall way.
A breakfast item was mentioned for breakfast in the morning, which was batter for the waffle iron. Nothing else but terrible coffee.. sugar provided in a glass jar with crackers floating in it.
Will never stay at a Wyndam again

Staff was great and room was comfortable. Some sketchy characters hanging out and the pool was pretty dirty. But the price was right. We felt safe and would stay again.

I took picture upon arrive at this super 8 motel! For the price I paid, I like a refund! Walked the room was not ready and the staff that fixed and clean the room should be fired! My daughter stepped on a black piece of plastic that Polk a tiny whole in her bottom heal! Next no tv connected, no bath, face or hand towels! The bed covers had burn mark holes and the air conditioner couldn’t even cool down the room! The toilet couldn’t get enough water to flush the toilet throughly! Total failure on renting this room when it wasn’t ready to be rented! I like a refund and plan to talk to manager tomorrow! Awh $178 and this is what I get! I have pictures of the room if needed! Also they couldn’t move me so I couldn’t get a refund so I had to stay and deal with a horrible room

Customer service was lacking. Facilities and guest rooms were needed deep cleaning. Air conditioner was excessively loud. Mattresses were uncomfortable, Sheets had tears and bedspread had cigarette burns. No room service, had to ask for clean linens. TV remote was grimy and sticky and furniture tops had not been cleaned.

It was really bad smell in the room the screen in the window was broken, the bathroom didn’t have the shower curtain so it was strange and a lot homeless people around but it was good price and location close to beautiful park with access to the river and dog friendly

Property is passed its best days. Facility is older but they keep it clean. Room at check-in was clean but there were no bath towels in the room. I think this was a problem in several rooms. Either they were short of towels or they hadn't got them all washed from the previous day. Breakfast was included but some of the items were not working. The room phone didn't work and the hair drier was not working either.

We checked in and the front desk lady was nice through out our whole stay. They gave us a room right next to the front desk which was room #108. When we walked in the room, it was freezing, smelt dirty and looked like it was in the middle of a remodel. We had to ask for a bath tub plug which the front desk lady was helpful with. Then we went to lay down and one of the beds didn't have any pillow cases on the pillows and one of the pillows had a blood stain. So we had to bother the lady again and ask for clean linens. Then our room was freezing upon walking in and we couldn't get the heater to turn on. Had to bug the front desk lady again and she had to change the batteries in the remote then go find another one. The heater is mounted on the wall and the cords were sticking out of the side of it. And to top it all off, there were a few bugs flying around all night. We definitely will not be back to stay at this hotel. You could just see the room wasnt very well cleaned and had a bad smell to it and it wasnt very inviting. It was as almost like they just wanted to make some extra money off an unfinished room so they put a few towels in there and called it a day. We did ask the front desk lady for a new room and she just looked at us like we were a little crazy. We were also up late because we could hear everyone walk in the front door and check in and the staff slams doors through out the night. I just hope other people don't waste their money on a hotel like this.

Good building. Appears recently refinished; nothing special. Near freeway and feather river, but not walking distance to food. Noisy parking lot. Very simple breakfast.

Employees were smoking right by the front door of the hotel. There were trash bags full of clothes or garbage by the entrance. After returning to the hotel yesterday evening (2nd night), card didn't work anymore. Went to front desk and the manager was very unprofessional. She asked me why I had given a bad check in review on Expedia right in front of the other staff. It made me feel very uncomfortable.

State of this place almost 2 months was never offered to have a maid clean my room change my bedding anything. Clean the room myself as long as we can get a vacuum after asking for days in a row or a broom or anything else that should be easily accessible to someone who is cleaning your room for you instead of making your maids do their job and clean it for us ridiculous do not stay at this place it is a waste of your time and money

Junkies tried to break into my room with my wife and young son in there.when I came back the next day to talk to manager a rude made came up and told us don't feed the cats it's my own fault.last I checked the maid didn't run the hotel.and how unprofessional to let your maid treat your paying customers.Meth, hookers , dog poop on the floors, horrible smelling rooms that are run down and dirty when you check in.customers beware this place

This was possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. Wyndham should be ashamed to have its name on this place. The entire place (including the lobby) reeked of marijuana. The elevator is ancient and has colored tape over all the buttons. My room was dirty and had furniture a thrift store wouldn’t accept. The mini frig in my room (that I didn’t dare even look in) made a ton of noise. There were holes in my sheets and stains on the mattress. The hair dryer didn’t work. The bathroom had unsightly repairs. The peep hole on the door had something gross stuck in it. Everything was worn, dirty, and falling apart. The children running up and down the hallways at 11:30 at night wasn’t great either.

Wasnt as bad as people claimed. However 1 room key for 2 people was weird as i had to work late. No extra towels. All the buttons on the elevator inside and out were broken and held by tape. Security was minimal i walked in at 2 am door wasnt locked and no one was in sight. Very minimal breakfast items.

I have stayed at several hotels in this area during visits over the years, and this one ranks as the second worst out of seven. Of note, the night front desk staff were amazing, and is the primary reason this isnt the worst hotel instead.
Pros: coffee available at the lobby almost any time. Night front desk staff were great. Breakfast choices were acceptable. The heater worked.
Cons: the first room I was issued was pretty dirty. It was past midnight so i was just going to deal with it until a saw a mouse run across the desk and onto my luggage. The second room i was issued was cleaner, but had exposed electrical wires dangling from the ceiling where the smoke detector was supposed to be, and the smoke detector was left on the toilet. Tile grout was missing, likes were broken and left adrift, and the heater control panel faceplate was ripped off. I was seldom at the hotel so individually my concern was only about safety and sanitation over functionality.
I had put in the hotels(dot)com app that i wanted to extend my stay by one night which i did at the property, however i didnt get the same rate, and was charged more than the app's advertised price. The day front desk person didnt know what to do with that problem and said the best she could do wasnt going to match the price.
Overall, i dont recommend staying here.
