What a delightful place to stay. The mansion rooms are lovely and the staff are helpful and friendly. The lounge was a great place to stopbin and breakfast was yummy.

The breakfast was very skimpy and only allowed 2 choices. Guest room was small and did not have an armchair for reading. Very rigid about 4pm check in time. Carpets were threadbare in hallways. Never again.

Complimentary drink at the bar is a nice touch! Can’t beat this location so close to the theatre district and Allen nightlife. The room interior was a bit dated but that didn’t bother us.

Our first trip to Buffalo, and we enjoyed our stay at the Mansion. Only real negative is that my wife had considerable difficulty managing the step-in shower tub. The shower nozzle came undone and was difficult to reconnect. Upon complaining the tub felt unsafe the staff immediately and graciously made arrangements to transfer us to a room with a walk-in shower. Secondly, it would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room to cool beverages and access to some snacks of some sort. As to the positives: the staff were very polite, helpful and accommodating; the breakfasts with choice of sweet or savory everyday were wonderful; the complementary beverage at happy hour and free parking across the street were welcome; and the hotel had no shortage of charm. Highly recommended and a place we would stay at again when going to Buffalo.

The Mansion on Delaware excels at customer service. The butlers went out of their way to assist, even heating up our leftover food from the precious evening to have for lunch. Each evening offered a complimentary cocktail or glass of wine and complimentary breakfast each morning served by the butler on duty. I highly recommend this property!

Truly we had a wonderful experience! The service, the accommodations, the location were superb! We felt treated like royalty. The mansion is grand. If we come to Buffalo and need a place to stay, this will be it! Thank you to the wonderful staff!!!!

The stay at The Mansion on Delaware Avenue was a quality stay because of the great staff and quiet neighborhood, we only stayed one night and didn’t have much to complain about, I would’ve liked a mini fridge in our room and the floor in the bathroom was a bit undercleaned . Other than that the beds were great the freee complementary breakfast was delicious! Overall a great experience! I would recommend anyone to stay here because it was definitely worth every penny! :)

A beautiful historical building! Our room was on the 4th floor and had modern appointments but the bathroom definitely needs updating. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Overall it was a great stay.

I booked 2 rooms and the not so beautiful single room in the garret on the 4.5 th floor was no cheaper than the beautiful double on the 4th.

The staff at The Mansion on Delaware are incredible. The outside and entryway of the mansion are incredible. The room we stayed in? Not so much. Outside from the room being outdated and clearly rundown, the bed felt like a rollout mattress with springs and no cushion. It was incredibly stiff and uncomfortable. It put a damper on our stay, because while I understand the allure of staying at a historical landmark, there’s no reason for the rooms to be outdated. Splurge on better mattresses and I could overlook the peeling of wallpaper and paint. The rooms should exude the same beauty as the sitting and billiard rooms.

Beautiful from the outside, but badly in need of updates on the inside. Several marks on the wall, wallpaper peeling and carpet was stained. Gave the impression of not being very clean. That being said, the staff were wonderful and super helpful so made me feel at home.

Lovely building. Good staff. Delicious breakfast. Convenient location. Dated and needs updates, especially the bathroom - the tub had rust stains, chipped, and the shower was awkward. Pillows were way too big and hard. Bed comfy. Would stay again if updates made, otherwise might check out other locales given the price.

We loved the ambiance of this hotel. Beautifully decorated, quiet and had a pretty garden outside. The breakfast options (sweet or savory) each morning were delicious. A complimentary drink each night was such an unexpected treat. The Griffin drink was delicious. The staff were outstanding. I wish I could remember everyone’s name but Lucas, Caden and Danny in particular were so friendly and knowledgeable about Buffalo and made great recommendations for our dinners and of course wings! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend The Mansion on Delaware Ave
