It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this, but I wont be able to return here. I waited almost a week after returning home and gave it some time to reflect. NO SEE UMS are out of control here. I have been here 2 years in a row 23' and 24'. Both times I was ate alive. (30-40 bites)each time. I sprayed Off bug spray every day, didnt matter. We came with small kids and laid by the pool every day. My wife and I were scratching and itching the 2nd day into the trip all the way through and came home to raised bumps. Its next door to a preserve with tons of plants and greenery, but for the money I spent its hard to over look this. The hotel is beautiful, stunning and spacious. We stayed on the 17th floor in a family suite. 4 balconies, 2 bathrooms,, livijg room. The room is great and house keeping was good. Unfortunately the no see ums ruined my trip 2 years in a row. Other reviewers also have mentioned it So I will look at other properties next time I come down to Naples/SBSW area. Great property but the bug issue 2 years in a row is something that will make me pass next time.

They ran out of towels many times. No pool staff. Kids in Adult pool. Too many people. Not enough tubes for lazy river.
King bed had only 3 pilllows. Couldn’t an elevator, had to walk up 3 flights and we are 80.
Never go again

Family friendly resort with waterslides and lazy river. Great thing is the adult only pool. The beautiful beach is a boat trip away, it’s a must have and it is free.
All restaurants are first class. Staff is friendly and professional. Elevators must be replaced.

The hotel was beautiful. They provided outstanding customer service and I absolutely loved the four pools.

Biggest gripe is the pavers by all the pools are intensely hot. It’s unsafe and makes no sense! Also there’s construction now and it’s loud

Everything was perfect, the only thing I did not like was the transportation to the beach, especially coming back to the hotel, it is unacceptable a ride every hour when there was people for 3 more boats, we waited 2 hours to catch one. I would rather stay at the hotel full of amenities and activities.

If I’m gonna pay $625 for a room and they put me in the corner on the fourth floor and the elevators and all you can hear is the elevators until midnight that’s lame

Beautiful resort and perfect for families with kids. There are several pools, waterslides, lazy river and planned activities for kids (kickball, trivia, face painting, rock wall, fire pits for smores and mini golf). Staff if professional, friendly and rooms clean. We didn’t go to the beach because of recent tropical storm and cleanup but there is a boat that takes you to private beach area for hotel. We loved our time at this resort.

We had a great time. Lots to do for the little ones ( we have a 2yo and 4yo) and we all enjoyed our time there.

Parking was challenging with a truck. Very loud in lobby and around pool area, but it is family friendly. Traveling in elevators was a bit troublesome at times. Over all very good, my observations are more situational in my opinion

Excellent Hotel

The place is a great family gateway, specially families with small to young children.
The water slides and different pools make it a better option than South Seas in Captiva.
Food over all is good, specially Breakfast, they got everything for everyone.
Tanglewood is the casual dining option of choice, the menu is very limited and unless you like Cajun/creole food, you will be disappointed ,there’s the more upscale Tarpon Bay restaurant also, but this one is more for adults type of menu.
One complaint to Management is regarding the Hair Braiding Cart over by the Big Waterlides, the price is very, very misleading”Braids for $5.95 “
It turns out itwas $5.95 per inch!!
My 2 Grandaughters got 1 Single braid each,
It came out to $95.00 each!
Almost $200.00 for 2 Single hair braids.
The lady did Not explain anything about the pricing.
Total Ripoff!
Same braid in Jamaica, Mexico or Tha Bahamas is $20-30 each.
Hyatt Management should Not allowed this type of Vendors on their properties.
It leads to Bad reputation for the hotel.

The property itself was beautiful. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was outstanding. The first night we had a waitress that really set us off, as she seemed like she didn't want to be there. Made us not want to have dinner there the rest of the trip. My kids loved the pools, lazy river and water slides. Great place.
