The hotel was beautiful. They provided outstanding customer service and I absolutely loved the four pools.

Biggest gripe is the pavers by all the pools are intensely hot. It’s unsafe and makes no sense! Also there’s construction now and it’s loud
4.5
Beautiful property and resort. Loved the outdoor amenities.
4.5
It’s a safe environment

Didn’t like the food

Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Room and property were very clean. Breakfast buffet choices were plentiful and tasty. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great time. Lots to do for the little ones ( we have a 2yo and 4yo) and we all enjoyed our time there.
4.5
Parking was challenging with a truck. Very loud in lobby and around pool area, but it is family friendly. Traveling in elevators was a bit troublesome at times. Over all very good, my observations are more situational in my opinion

Great resort

Excellent Hotel

The place is a great family gateway, specially families with small to young children.
The water slides and different pools make it a better option than South Seas in Captiva.
Food over all is good, specially Breakfast, they got everything for everyone.
Tanglewood is the casual dining option of choice, the menu is very limited and unless you like Cajun/creole food, you will be disappointed ,there’s the more upscale Tarpon Bay restaurant also, but this one is more for adults type of menu.
One complaint to Management is regarding the Hair Braiding Cart over by the Big Waterlides, the price is very, very misleading”Braids for $5.95 “
It turns out itwas $5.95 per inch!!
My 2 Grandaughters got 1 Single braid each,
It came out to $95.00 each!
Almost $200.00 for 2 Single hair braids.
The lady did Not explain anything about the pricing.
Total Ripoff!
Same braid in Jamaica, Mexico or Tha Bahamas is $20-30 each.
Hyatt Management should Not allowed this type of Vendors on their properties.
It leads to Bad reputation for the hotel.

We had an amazing time! We’ll be visiting again soon!!!

The property itself was beautiful. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was outstanding. The first night we had a waitress that really set us off, as she seemed like she didn't want to be there. Made us not want to have dinner there the rest of the trip. My kids loved the pools, lazy river and water slides. Great place.

Need better pillows

We love the resort. This was our 2nd visit. Only gripe, the older gentleman bartenders at the pool area could be a little friendlier. Besides that, great and we will be back.

We had a great stay overall very fun! At night the whole place is beautiful! We give it a 4 due to below average food quality at pool and house keeping below average. We found dirty things and also a bug in our room however we are in Florida and bugs are not uncommon. So we decided to rate the resort based on time spent outside room.

I did not like the food in the restaurant but is very close to all kinds of restaurants outside, so not a big problem.
Water park is excellent and the hotel in general is perfect.

Did not like Tanglewood Restaurant, they close earlier than advertised, breakfast was not at the level of a hyatt hotel. Did not know how to make sunny side fried eggs. I did give 2 opportunities and both were wrong. Broken yolks

Everything was great

Fantastic vacation. What a great hotel, everything was very clean. The pools and waterslides were great, food at the restaurants was great. We went on an off peak week, I could see it getting pretty crowded on a peak week. Food and drinks were good, but on the pricey side. Breakfast buffet was great, especially that for 12 and under you pay your child's age. Lots of food and shopping nearby. The private beach was great.

Spent a fantastic 4 days there, really enjoyed relaxing in the lazy river and by the pool and doing the fun family activities. Also, the unexpected dance party our last night was a great way to end the vacation!

I’ve been here twice before but not for a number of years. Since my last visit they’ve remodelled the place - all rooms were refreshed in 2022 and all of the common areas have also been redecorated. It’s a beautiful resort hotel. My corner room had views from 2 sides with a furnished balcony and a step out balcony in the bedroom and a full glass wall in the bathroom!!! The room was very pleasantly decorated - sort of lightweight 1950s. As it’s all new furnishings everything works and no leaky taps, grungy grout in the shower etc.
The swimming pool area is fantastic. An adults pool, a waterfall pool and a large kids pool with a big slide has been joined recently by a lazy river pool. Loads of space to sit out.
Cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who wants a proper resort hotel in easy reach of Naples, Fort Myers and the other locations on this coast. If you are looking for a small boutique hotel - look elsewhere!!!
PS: breakfast was included in my room rate and the buffet was excellent.

Amazing pools and fun for kids! Lots of places to eat off property too

The rooms are updated and beautiful. The pools were plentiful and lots of poolside seating. The on site restaurant, Tarpon, was incredible.
4.5
the outdoor furniture needs more attention--stains on fabric.
4.5
Love coming here to let the kids play and enjoy water slides
4.5
Resort nice. Rooms need upgraded
4.5
It is a nice property however it is not a good value in my opinion. This is very much run and feels like a business not a resort stay. If some company is paying for everything I think it makes sense but not for a family stay.
Every single thing costs additional. Parking, coffee, snacks, resort fee, etc.. on top of a normal sized room for $600 a night. Which is fine if you want to overpay for what you get.
I would look elsewhere unless your a family and you need to pay another $300 a night because it has the little waterslides.
4.5
Very much a resort feel. Pools are GREAT! Rooms very quiet and well appointed

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The staff couldn't have been nicer.
